Chapter 1: The New Alpha

Anastasia's POV It had been raining since morning in Lupo Continent. It seemed that the universe had shown its sympathy for me and my pack, the Lykos Pack. After all, we were grieving. My father, Nicholas Galanis, had passed away. My dear father was now lying peacefully inside the glass coffin. His bright blue eyes would be closed forever from now on. The curly black hair he had would never move beautifully ever again. The firm stature he had would never be seen again. The kind smile he used to show me would never be there for me again. "I'll miss you, Father," I quietly said as I was looking at him in the glass coffin, feeling my tears fall from my cheeks for the Goddess knows who. I, Anastasia Galanis, still couldn't believe it. The council and my father had decided to choose me as the heiress over my half-brother, Constantine Galanis, from my stepmother, Sophia Galanis. It was because I had awakened my wolf since I was 12 years old. That event was a very rare thing to happen.

Chapter 2: The Accusation

Anastasia's POV "Gah! There are so many things to handle!" I shouted my heart out with frustration in my current office as I signed stacks of documents on my table. It had been two months since I became an Alpha. My pack had sent an invitation to the other two packs, the Varg Pack and the Lupin Pack. Both of them had responded that their Alphas would attend my ceremony. The Varg Pack, known for its powerful warriors, was led by the old Alpha Carl Isberg. Meanwhile, the Lupin Pack, known for its magic and healers, was led by Alpha Lili Aubert. As for the Lykos Pack, we were known for our political maneuver as well as our economic power. Another aspect we were known for was our strong horde of warriors although our warriors weren't as powerful as the warriors of the Varg Pack. Still, it was enough to show other creatures that we werewolves weren't someone to be messed with. We also invited the Bloody Fangs. The Bloody Fangs was a group of strongest warriors without any ties to the

Chapter 3: A Strange Offer

Anastasia's POV I couldn't believe what just happened. The Vampire King accused me of poisoning him. Even worse, Constantine said that I was poisoning the King. How could this happen? Also, where was Andreas? A warrior who was tasked to put me in the silver cuffs yelled at me, "Hurry up, woman!" "Mind your tongue! I'm your Alpha!" I shouted angrily with my Alpha voice, which startled him into submission. Even though my 18th birthday was still 2 months away, I managed to wake my wolf early. It caused me to be able to use my Alpha voice if I felt very threatened. Still, it was rarely used because I didn't wish to undermine my father's ruling as it would mean that I wouldn't be able to be put into submission if my father used his Alpha voice on me. The warrior immediately put me into our pack's silver dungeon, the place for the most terrible criminals in our pack. Frankly, I wasn't shocked about it. I was being accused of poisoning the Vampire King, which was a huge crime. Still, I

Chapter 4: The Bridal Night

Anastasia's POV 'Unbelievable.' That was what I had in mind. Did the Crimson Warrior just ask my hand for marriage? But I didn't dream. This was indeed real. The leader of the Bloody Fangs, which was feared by us werewolves. Actually, it wasn't werewolves only. Even vampires, dwarves, and giants were afraid of the Bloody Fangs' fearsome reputation. When the Crimson Warrior asked for my hand, Constantine erupted in anger. My half-brother proceeded to approach the warrior in anger as the former tried to strike the latter with a sword. Immediately, the warrior responded by glaring at my brother who quickly whimpered before he hid behind his mother. Seeing this almost made me laugh. "How dare you scare my son!" Sophia shouted angrily. However, my stepmother quickly shut her mouth as soon as the Crimson Warrior looked at her with his cold eyes. Then, Damon walked to the warrior to calm the situation down. Even when the Beta walked, I could clearly see that he was scared of the warr

Chapter 5: Prophecy

Anastasia's POV The High Priestess, Claire Aubert, had pronounced that both Noah and I had become husband and wife under the Moon Goddess as she showed the bloodied mattress my husband and I had laid on. With this announcement, no one would dare to attack my loved ones. Oppie, Andreas, and the members who sided with me were safe and sound. While it might sound crazy, I had decided to take advantage of my husband's mercy to bring Oppie, Andreas, and the others to go with the Bloody Fangs. After all, I could never predict what would happen to them if I left them here under Constantine. My half-brother lied in order to make himself the Alpha. Surely, he would do more by executing Oppie, Andreas, and the others. As soon as the High Priestess' declaration, I quickly asked Noah to go to the grassfield behind the castle. It was my favorite spot every time I needed to calm myself. Somehow, I felt that I could trust my husband. He didn't seem to be like what his reputation had portrayed. "

Chapter 6: Ambush

Noah's POV I noticed that my newly wedded wife, Anastasia, had been avoiding me ever since the prophecy talk between me, her, and the High Priestess. Frankly, I would be lying if I said it didn’t bother me. My heart felt tight every time I met her eyes, only for her to avoid me as if I wasn’t there. For years, I had battled with countless creatures ever in this world. But I managed to beat them. Yet, I felt like an idiot when it came to her. It seemed those years of fighting other creatures that threatened us werewolves had dulled my sense when it came to affairs of hearts. I was very clueless about this! 'What can I do to make her not avoid me?' I asked myself as I played with my fingers, which was my habit every time I was thinking hard. A slightly cheerful voice surprised me. "You've been sighing a lot, Commander." When I looked at the voice owner, I realized that I sighed again. It turned out to be Hugo Wallin, the vice leader of Bloody Fangs. Although this man could be

Chapter 7: An Unfamiliar Feeling

Noah's POV Throughout our journey to the Lupin Pack, the High Priestess was using her power to heal Anastasia. The blonde woman with very light blue eyes looked at me with a grim face like my healer, which made my heart beat even faster. If someone with impressive medical knowledge like the High Priestess looked like that, I knew that I had to rush to the Lupin Pack as fast as I could. "This is really dangerous. I feel her weakening," the High Priestess said as she held her cross with one hand and held Anastasia's hand tightly with another. "Why did that happen, High Priestess?" I asked her as I was holding my wife's other hand. She looked at me straight in the eyes as she answered, "She seemed to feel betrayed. Did you do something to her?" Her question made me lower my head in embarrassment. Eventually, I confessed to the High Priestess that my emotion got the best out of me and I directed my sword to Ophelia. My wife woke up in anger to stop me before she fainted even further.
