Daniel nodded his head in understanding and started making his way across the parking lot to the front entrance of his apartment building. George couldn't understand why Ariana was suddenly giving him the cold shoulder and silent treatment the next morning. After he had taken the phone call and he had returned to the balcony, he had not seen her there. He had only seen Daniel who told him she had retired for the night.
