Damon got into his chamber, and so did Belinda. Damon sat on the sofa that was not so far from his bed. Belinda stood at the door and stared at him as he sat. He raised his head as soon as he was settled, and she hurriedly bowed. “Are you just going to stand there and watch me bleed to death?” He asked in a hoarse manner. Belinda hastily shook her head and ran to him. She fell before him and opened the first aid kit that was with her. She tore a moderate quantity of cotton wool and soaked it with alcohol. She looked at Damon and saw he was beginning to look sick. He rested his back and threw his head backward. She slowly reached his left arm and when she touched it, it was pretty cold. Immediately her warm hand came in contact with his, he lowered his head and looked at her. Damon opened his eyes after a very sound sleep. He sat up and stretched out his arms and legs. He looked at the gauze wrapped around his arm, and he began to loosen it. After the gauze came off, he saw that his cut was totally healed. “Took you long enough.” He muttered, and got out of bed. “My Prince, Princess Megan is here to see you.” His guard said from outside his door. Damon heaved a high sigh and shook his head. “What does she want? Let her in.” He answered. The door opened almost immediately and Megan walked in. “What does she want? I’m here to check up on my brother. She held onto the chair and sat up properly. She slightly opened her eyes and kept it slightly open until she could adjust to the brightness. She looked around her and remembered that she was guarding the boundaries and that was why she fell asleep in the tower. Belinda tried to act okay when she headed back to Megan’s chamber for dinner. She didn’t want her asking her questions. Megan told her guards to open up the door for Belinda when she got there. Belinda walked in with a smile on her face. “What took you so long?” Megan asked her. “I’m sorry, I took a long time in the bathroom. I was enjoying the bath too well.” “A bath?
