PROLOGUE – THE CURSE

THE illumination of the Lunar Trifecta’s full moon gave a calm vibe to everyone in the Banxi Mountain Alps—where the three powerful packs resided. The infamous Nacht territory where the sun never shines, and everyone called it the Wolf Nation. The Wolf Nation was an autonomous region in Gwiazda. This small domain was ruled by a tyrant Alpha King known as Fang. The ruthless head from the Sabre pack. He’d do everything to amass great power. And now, he ordered to kill a lowly servant who mated to his son. On the border of Dilim City near the Great Sea, Una wasted no time when the wolf army was mobilized. She ran for her life as howls reverberated in the dark forest. She wore her black wedding dress, waiting for her mate to celebrate their union. But because of the sudden commotion, she forgot to put on her boots as she had enjoyed splashing water with her feet on the stream earlier. Una sensed great danger. She had anticipated the situation might turn like this and hoped everything w

RESURRECTION

UNA gasped for air. She opened her eyes and studied the place around her. Was this the deepest part of the crater? Why was she still alive after her fall? It appeared she was inside a cave; her body lay on a large, flat stone. There was a weird black smoke formation moving in circles above her. Una got up, ignoring the severe head and joint pain. She immediately held her chest. There was no wound present there. Una noticed her clothing—a white robe, clean as snow. She observed a glittering red magic circle around her. What was happening? Did she reach Zurga? Or maybe this was Elduri because she pleaded with a demon deity. Until an amusing laugh echoed around the cave, it came from the circulating black smoke. “You called for me… my child,” said a voice with a thick accent of an ancient fae language she clearly understood. “Lord… Luxus?” Una’s eyes broadened. It was just a wild guess, but her instinct was never wrong. The black smoke rapidly moved until it formed a shape. And wit

SHE IS BACK

“BRING me to the Alpha King.” Una’s crimson eyes were consumed by intense resentment. She’d start her plan right away. She would never hesitate to purge everyone there…especially Hevian. With her power now, she could make these lowly shifters bow to her and kill them in just a snap of her finger. It took her a while to absorb the truth about the time that had passed since her death.“Your peculiarities amazed me, Una. There have been a lot of changes here in Gwiazda since twenty years ago. It became stricter that even royal faeries from the neighboring domain of Erganiv could not enter here without an official business. The same goes for all the Gwiazdans. No one can cross the border without informing the Palace of Night and Stars. A barrier was created in every place here.” Drite studied her face. He’d seen her madness, but didn’t say a word about it.“And the residents here are okay with that? You make them prisoners. What a load of nonsense! What if they wanted to go to Argia or to

CAPTURED

UNA gasped when she awoke in an unfamiliar room and quickly realized she was inside a dungeon. It was dark, and no window. Her hands were tied up with binding runes on both her wrists. But surprisingly, Una could see vividly in the darkness. But she had no time to be amazed because of her situation. Una tried to free herself, but it was useless. With every movement she made, her body was electrified. She bit her lower lip, preventing herself from screaming. Who knows what kind of creature lurked around this place? “Damn it!” she repeatedly cussed. This time, Una was careful not to trigger the binding runes. She needed her strength to stay alive. There were lots of questions circulating in her mind. How was she captured? Did Hevian’s wolf army catch her after the skirmish she did at the Midnight Fortress? Impossible! The mere thought of Hevian imprisoning her after being resurrected made her blood boil. He must hate her to the core. It was not surprising since she died in his hands

EQUINOX HUNT

20 YEARS AGO “UNA, bring this to your father!” Ursila called her daughter, who was busy picking fresh flowers and herbs in their small garden. “Yes, mother!” Una beamed. Her favorite white dress shimmered under the light of the morning sun. She held a basket and hurriedly brought the flowers inside their hut. Their house was located in the lush greenery of the Banxi Mountains on the southern side called Qalin Forest. The servants’ families lived there. Mostly a typical shapeshifter who had weak wolf form. In short, they were just a lowly immortal commoner in this new haven created by the faeries and deities after the Great Fae War. Ursila handed Una a bottle of fresh milk, a newly baked bread, and marble potatoes cooked in butter. “Here, your father is busy hunting. Maybe he’s starving now.” “All right, mother.” “Don’t wander around. You know the rules.” Ursila reminded her. Knowing she was stubborn sometimes. “Rest your mind, mother. I would never put my life in danger. Especia

“YOUR name is Hevian?” Una thought the name rang a bell. Her eyes widened when she realized who he was. “The son of the Alpha King!” Una bowed down. “I don’t deserve to look straight into your face, Prince Hevian.” “Una… that’s a nice name. It’s not a crime to look at me.” Hevian checked the three shifters tending to Nivo’s wounds. “Hunters are not allowed to cross the Qalin Forest. My apologies for causing this mess.” Una slowly raised her head. “I just want my father to return home safely.” Hevian nodded. “I’ll be back here after the hunt, Una. And as repayment for this incident, I will give you company to roam the Midnight District as we celebrate the Moon Festival.” Una’s jaw dropped. The son of the Alpha King would make this effort for a lowly servant like her? It sounded wonderful, but she doubted if it would truly happen. Una cleared her throat. “That won’t be necessary.” She declined because she thought it was too much. After all, she was no special. Why would a royalty w

IMPRINTED

UNA thought everything would turn fine when she and her father returned home. Ursila was waiting as usual and had no idea what had happened to them. They thought that telling her was unnecessary since Ursila would be worried for nothing. But as they ate dinner in their house, their laughter turned to scream when someone barged in, destroying their thick wooden door.“Una, hide!” Nivo was alert. He stood up and grasped the knife in the kitchen. “What is happening?” Ursila gaped to see three unidentified males in their living room.“Get your mother!” Nivo ordered.Una grabbed her mother’s arm and exited the back door. She assisted Ursila toward the dry well that would be their hiding spot. “Go first, mother. I’ll follow you after.”“No…you go first.” Ursila refused, but Una was adamant. “I’ll find help. Please, go.” Una forced Ursila to climb down the wooden stair. “I am the best runner in this family, remember?”Ursila was still hesitant to hide, but Una was persistent. “Okay, be c

My parents are in danger!”Hevian slowly put her down when he was sure that Una was fine. The Princess of Alsache surely did a good job of healing her. Even the scar on Una’s shoulder was barely visible.“I’ll carry you with me. Hold tightly.” Hevian immediately transformed into his beast form without waiting for Una’s answer. She also wasted no time mounting at the back of Hevian’s massive wolf form.
