I was almost finished with work when my phone started to ring, picking up the phone I looked at it to see that it was the bastard calling. Looking round at the cameras in the office I wondered if he was watching me through them. I didn’t want to answer but I also didn’t want him to know that I didn’t want to pick up his call. Sighing I answered his call instantly regretting that I had after his next words. “Hello my Dear Wife and how are you today” I could hear the smile in his voice, damnit I wasn’t in the mood to have him tease me today, especially with that word. “What did you just call me?” A chuckle sounded on the next end of the call. “Wife, I called you my wife as today I was told that, that is what you are to me” I could just imagine the smug look on his face and I wanted to smack it. It was almost a week since I had left on the business trip. Most of the issues were already sorted all I had left were to finalize some documents and have another inspection done. The project was a living complex that would have a shopping center and other amenities. Everything had to be right as people would be living here and accidents wouldn’t be good for us at all. Most of my focus was on the upcoming launch it was now only a day away. By the ending of the day most of the billboards would be showcasing the clothing collection and the jewelry. Different from billboards, I’d have to check in with the different malls and stores that would also be selling the items. The magazines were already done and being printed, I just had to ensure that I collected some copies for us. Following him to the elevator I wondered where exactly we would be going. A little anxiety was welling up within my stomach but I tried my best to keep it down, I had no reason to be nervous.
