Chapter 1: The Invitation

BEAUTY is found in every corner of an Englisian's home. The pastel curtains printed with small chamomile flowers opened, revealing the rosy morning outside the window. Orange hues of the dawn sunshine lingered upon the bed of Elizabeth. Anaj, the caretaker of the princess, went over the sleeping damsel to wake her up. Elizabeth Corvinus has been living her whole life inside these walls. She was only allowed to stroll in the palace grounds but has never stepped foot beyond those gates. Yawning, Elizabeth stretched her arms with her graceful movements as she pushed herself to sit on the bed. Her eyes, then, followed her caretaker who was ransacking the wardrobe. "Why too early, Anaj?" Elizabeth groaned. "Oh, stop the sulking, Your Highness. We have a ball to attend tonight." Anaj winked at the princess who was giggling. " I hope we will not be caught, Anaj, or the Queen will have our head on a plate." Elizabeth pushed the blankets off her legs before she got herself out of the bed.

Chapter 2: Into The Bed

"I THINK I should leave you for a moment, General. You might not get yourself a woman for tonight if I'll cling to you too much." Elizabeth sighed and was about to scurry herself away when General Kius stopped her by holding her arm. "Stay." Elizabeth's eyes widened at his persuasion. "Oh, the General wants me to stay. Did I, perhaps, entertain you a lot?" General Kius smirked, " You do. To be honest, Miss Elizabeth, I do quite fancy you even if it was just a short meeting. That is why, at least, for tonight, I beg you to stay and stop these women from trying to approach me."Elizabeth looked around, giggling at the women who were gawking at them with malicious smirks and murmurs. ELIZABETH's lips rose when she saw the sun peeking through the lace curtains. But her eyes widened when she realized that it wasn't her room and she was in a strange place. Looking around in panic, her lips parted when she realized that an arm rested on her naked stomach. "Oh, god."Her moves are gentle, silent like a feather. She has to leave before the General will wake up and find her in this kind of state. Elizabeth already risked everything last night. Another mistake is not something she needed right now. Chapter 4: Tea

That night changed Elizabeth. She felt more comfortable with her own body. The way her skin felt above her bones felt like just how it should've been. Men would stare at her. She was no longer shy about showing more skin and making eye contact with the boys. For Elizabeth, that night was a game-changer. The corridors were empty as Elizabeth strolled around with Anaj tailing her from behind. The garden was blooming with fine emerald leaves, and white roses.
