CHAPTER ONE

Panting, he looked back as he made his way through the thick bushes. He kept looking back, checking to see how much distance he had covered and to see if his assailants were behind him. Turned out he had lost them but he still kept running. He suddenly hit his leg against a root and fell. The man turned and faced the sky wondering where the moon was.He clutched his stomach and groaned in pain. His raven black hair stuck to his face and he was so sweaty. His wished the moon would just show itself but it was hidden under a big thick cloud and Gwa (for that was the man's name) sighed before falling into unconsciousness.*******War they say is costly! No one knew the cause of the war but nobody can ever forget that day. In the small City of Astra, everyone lived in total peace and happiness. CHAPTER TWO

UNANNOUNCED ALPHA/Elohor King

Deep down in the forest lived creatures that no one knew existed. The forest was always peaceful so no one could have imagined these creatures were in hiding there. For ages, the werewolves; powerful humans who could transform to wolves lived there, hiding from the weredragons who felt the werewolves were inferior to them and should not be in existence. They killed and destroyed any werewolf they found in their path and went as far as seeking out the hiding places of the wolves. "Two suns can not rule the sky at the same time" they often said. This war continued until Gwa the most powerful werewolf became the Alpha of the pack. He had the strength of ten werewolves with his body emitting great powers when he stood before his kind. His powers became even greater when the moon was at it's peak. During the first three years of his reign, he dealt with the weredragons, defending his people and he could not be defeated. CHAPTER THREE

UNANNOUNCED ALPHA/Elohor King

Gwa still in the forest. He was growing weak as the days rolled by and the fact that he was still alive was surprising, even to him. His mind flashed back to the last days he spent in his home before he had to run... Every effort to help his body recover by human physicians proved abortive. (Werewolves have the power to heal their own wounds consistently at an accelerated rate, so they didn't need a physician). Nobody knew what was going on with him and he was growing weak everyday. As time went by, the werewolves started going missing.People started living in fear and soon, the trust the werewolves had in Gwa began diminishing. Soon the weredragons started infiltrating the forest and dead bodies were found lying around. ''What's happening?'' The people asked among themselves. ''Why isn't Gwa doing something? UNANNOUNCED ALPHA/Elohor King

Weredragons are creatures that were able to transform at night to humans and sometimes with characteristics of a full-grown dragons. They are humans in shape but their skin transformed into reptilian scales, and they grew fangs and claws, a tail, and wings, all reminiscent of a specific species of dragon.Those able to truly assume the shape of a dragon also gained all the corresponding dragon powers. Upon transformation into hybrid from, weredragons gained the ability to make dangerous bite and claw attacks. Frighteningly, they also spew fire from their breath.Powerful magic was one way to become weredragon or through fusion of a dragon and a human with great powerful magic that took time to manifest. Also, powerful curses were laid on individuals, if not deliberately brought about magically. The initial transformation could occur when they were under great pressure or under attack. CHAPTER FIVE

Beside the thrones were two dragon statues. Whoever made those sculptures did an extraordinary job. The sculptures were magnificent to behold and they looked so real. Sham stood staring at them for a while until he heard a voice behind him. When he turned, he saw Adrian and his daughter. He looked at her over and over again because she was quite beautiful. Adrian smiled at him. "It is foolishness to come to the enemy's lair alone and unarmed" he said. "I want to form an alliance" Sham said and Adrian laughed. "Why would you want to form an alliance with the enemy? Against your own people?""I believe the werewolves would be better together with the weredragons. Gwa has ruled for long now, it's time for a change. I want to be the Alpha of the werewolves and in return I will tell you how to kill Gwa. With Gwa dead, the werewolves would live in fear and when you come to ask them to surrender after killing some of them or taking some of them for hostage, the
