"You know, this is where I'd tell you I've told you so but I won't, because I did actually already tell you so." The first thing I heard sliding into the passenger seat of Liam's car was his sister complaining.Through the rearview mirror, I saw Alisha nudging Penelope with her elbow and Giovanna's nostril flared at them."Is this a part of your plan?" She stared at them, suspiciously."Of course, not! How would I know he is going to want to come with us? It's not like I live in his head or something!" Alisha hissed and everyone shut up the second the door to the driver's seat was open.Looking over my shoulders, I saw Alisha squealed quietly into her hands and Giovanna gave her a dirty look.

Turning on the faucet, I bent over the bathroom sink and splashed cold water on my face. I rinsed my mouth and brushed my teeth, perhaps for the thousandth time that morning. Oral hygiene wasn't my main concern at this point but rather the weird taste that lingered in my mouth right after vomiting. If i didn't quickly get rid of it, I would be kneeling by the toilet bowl in no time.After I finished brushing my teeth, I gargled a strong minty mouthwash to get rid of the smelly odour. But at the end, nothing helped. Absolutely nothing at all seemed to cure my sickness for the past couple of days and my mind was starting to race like a roller coaster ride going up and down hills, in the dark.Slowly and carefully, I looked up to my reflection in the mirror and I shook my head in frustration. It was supposed to be a great day. The day started off with a perfectly good morning, following a lovely afternoon, but somehow ended with an empty evening. I felt nothing but emptiness the second we got back to the limo. I kicked off my heels and rubbed my sore feet together while resting my head back before it involuntarily bounced up again at the sound of the car door being swung open. It was my parents and my three brothers hopping in.On the way here, I rode in this limo with Giovanna but on my way back, Mrs. Luciano suggested that I should spend the very last bit of the time I had with my parents since I hardly paid a visit to their place now. Also, apart from making me share the ride with them, she also invited everyone in my family over for some sorts of a celebration dinner she claimed with be the perfect way to end the day. "Let's go." Looking up from my phone to Liam, I gave him a small nod. He held out his hand, offering me a help to get back on my feet which I gladly accepted. Amidst the state of peace and comfort quietness, we headed for the door. For about a half an hour right before Giovanna was sent to come and alerted us of the dinner, Liam and I were lying around in his bed, doing nothing else but talked. We talked and talked, to the point where it was safe to say that we had a much better understanding then than at any time before. He had broken down his wall and guard to let me in. We felt normal. Like a real couple. It wasn't the one quality of him anyone'd ever expected, but as it turned out, Liam could be the best conversationalist. Not
