Fortunately, a nurse noticed the situation in time. She hurried over and calmed Rose down.

Seraphine was asked to leave the ward. She stood in the corridor, looking haggard and uneasy. Her nails dug into her palms as she bit her lip. Her eyelashes were quivering.

"What happened, Seraphine?" her assistant asked.

Seraphine looked up in bewilderment. Then, she gripped her assistant's hands. "Do you think that woman looks like she's out of her mind?"

Her assistant looked troubled. "I don't know, Seraphine."

She didn't dare speak the truth.

Rose might be emotionally unstable, but her behavior was clearly normal.

Seraphine didn't receive the answer she was waiting for. Letting go of her assistant, she began to rummage through her bag.

Her trinkets fell onto the floor as she did so.

There was lipstick and foundation for her to fix her makeup with, and also a bunch of keys with a rabbit plushie attached to it.

She bent over to pick her things up, but then, her phone slid out of her
