POV Lily

"Where am I?" I whispered with trembling lips.

I woke up naked, lying on the cold forest floor. The morning breeze caressed my skin, and I felt vulnerable and lost. My mind was foggy, and my memories were jumbled, like fragments of a distant dream. I knew that something extraordinary had happened the previous night.

As my mind began to clear, memories started to emerge. I remembered feeling a tearing pain in my chest, a pain that felt like it was shattering my heart into pieces. It was the pain of betrayal, the pain of having my heart broken by the Alpha, my mate.

Slowly, as I recalled the scene from the office, the harsh words, and Olivia's betrayal, I realized that intense pain, the emotional agony I had felt, was the trigger for something extraordinary. I had transformed into a wolf, an experience I could never have predicted.

As I cautiously got up, I looked around, trying to understand where I was. The forest stretched out in all directions, with tall trees and dense veg

Beta Mark is in front of me, questioning my actions. His words are like a constant buzz in my ears as we debate Lily's situation."Do you really believe Lily would be capable of doing something against Olivia?" Mark asks, his expression skeptical.I take a deep breath, my temper flaring. I look at Mark, determined in my response. "The evidence points to her," I say firmly. "All the proof, all the clues, everything leads to Lily. As long as she refuses to tell the truth about where she was last night, I have no choice but to keep her locked up."Mark seems reluctant, but he knows I am the Alpha, and as much as he may disagree, he accepts my decisions. However, the concern in his eyes is evident. "What if you're wrong? What if Lily is innocent?"My jaw tightens, and the frustration I feel grows. "I can't take the risk, Ma

Pov LilyI woke up in a dark and dirty place, feeling weak and disoriented. My hands were bound by cold chains, and my skin was covered in dirt and sweat. It took a moment for my eyes to adjust to the darkness, and then I realized I was chained in a cell. The pain I felt was deep, not just physical ,but also emotional. I had no idea how much time had passed since I was dragged to this place, the dark bars concealed the sunlight, and I lost track of whether it was day or night. My memories were blurry, fragmented. As I struggled to sit up, I heard the sound of footsteps echoing down the stairs towards me. My heart skipped a beat. Could it be the Alpha coming to see me? A small spark of hope shone in my chest, despite all the uncertainties."Alpha," I mumbled with pale lips when I saw the figure emerge from the darkness, and the sight of the Alpha made me feel a mix of relief and apprehension. His eyes met mine, and he seemed serious and concerned."Feeling better?" he asked in a soft

Pov LilyIt was around midnight, and I knew it because I could no longer hear the birds singing outside the walls. That's how I could differentiate between day and night. If my calculations were correct, it had been three days since we had that conversation with the Alpha. He hadn't come back to see me. I was growing weaker and more incapacitated by the day. Having only one meal per day was taking a severe toll on my strength, and my wolf no longer had the energy to help me with my wounds."Lily, hold on... I know the Alpha will give in and come to save us," Ayla's voice sounded in my mind, trying to keep me awake once again."Give it up, Ayla. He hates us and doesn't even recognize us as his mate. Maybe this was the fate the Moon Goddess destined for me. Perhaps I'm truly cursed," I whispered with trembling lips, my body cold from the dampness in the dungeon."Don't lose hope, Lily. As long as we're still alive, there's hope," Ayla used her last strength to speak to me once more.Jus

I was in my office, lost in thoughts about Lily's situation and the tensions unfolding within our pack. I needed to make a decision immediately, but the uncertainty about the accusations and the need to maintain order weighed on my shoulders like two heavy stones ready to fall to the ground and crush me. It was a burden I carried as an Alpha. The door opened, and Beta Mark entered, his serious expression filled with tension making me suspicious."Alpha," Mark began to speak a bit hesitantly, "I have information that could be of utmost importance to the pack.""What have you found?" I asked, nervously trying to find any clues that could help us understand the situation.Mark paused before speaking, carefully choosing his words so my anger wouldn't spill over onto him. "I conducted some discreet investigations and found that the Crescent Moon pack has a significant reserve of natural resources."I was surprised by the news. "Natural resources? What exactly do they possess?"Mark nodded.

Lily's POV"I love you, Alpha..." those were the only words that escaped my lips in that moment.I couldn't hold back; he was banishing me forever, and I would likely be prevented from seeing him again. I just hung my head as the guards held me firmly, directing me down the corridor."Wait! What did you say?" the Alpha spoke seriously, causing the guards to immediately stop carrying me.At that moment, I was startled. I never thought my words would have such an impact on the Alpha. I wished I could jump into his arms and tell him that he was my mate, but I couldn't say anything. As he walked toward me with a stern expression, I felt my legs weaken, and a shiver coursed through my body."What did you say?" he asked firmly, his voice rigid, and his eyes fixed on me."I love you, Alpha Luke. I wish I had said it earlier. I'm so sorry," I stammered those words as I stared at the ground.I was thin and frail; the man who had hurt me the most was the man I loved, and I couldn't face him aft

Alpha Luke's POVI was in my office, discussing pack matters with my loyal Beta, Mark, when the door opened silently. I turned to look, surprised, and there was Lily, holding old, tattered bags containing her few possessions. Her face displayed shock and confusion, as if she had no idea what was about to happen."Lily," I called her name, my voice filled with authority. "I summoned you here."She swallowed hard, looking at me with wide eyes. "Alpha... what's happening?"I rose from my desk and approached her, my words firm. "Prepare to leave, Lily. I'm sending you back to your former pack."Her surprise was palpable. She hadn't expected this from me, and her expression of bewilderment reminded me of the feeling of shattering people's expectations."Why?" she asked with a trembling voice. "What did I do wrong?"My gaze was cold and relentless, leaving no room for hesitation. "Don't get your hopes up, Lily. I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this because I'm going to negotiate with t

Lily's POVI continued walking through that place, reminiscing about the lush forest where I had first met the Supreme Alpha. As we advanced, the landscape unfolded before us, revealing its majestic beauty. Tall pine trees formed a dense canopy above our heads, their needles swaying gently in the morning breeze. Sunbeams broke through the leafy barrier, creating patterns of light and shadow on the moss-covered ground. Every step was a deeper dive into the memory of that magical place."We can continue now," the soldier said matter-of-factly, after a brief pause for us to eat.The Alpha remained silent, as if I didn't exist, not exchanging glances or words with me. It was clear that he was completely indifferent at that moment. "We're..." After a long silence, I finally found the courage to continue. "We're going to my old pack."He replied in a dry and disinterested manner, not looking in my direction, "Yes, your old pack."I swallowed hard. Just a few months ago, I would have been lo

Pov Lily BrowsWe walked towards the pack entrance, and Ethan remained silent. It was strange; he didn't try to approach me or ask how I was. The absence of his words made me suspicious, especially considering the last time we saw each other when he vowed to come and get me. The place emanated an uncomfortable chill; people gathered around the grave, and Ethan's father's name was engraved on the tombstone.Gasping, I finally broke the tense silence. "My condolences for your father. I'm so sorry," I murmured nervously.Ethan responded with a simple "thank you," without even lifting his eyes to meet mine. It seemed as if my comment hadn't made the slightest difference at that moment. The Supreme Alpha remained silent out of respect for the death of the former alpha, but I knew he wanted to rant or, if possible, confront Ethan in some way. I looked at the crowd and could see my parents in the distance; their eyes widened at seeing me next to the Supreme Alpha, seemingly surprised that I

Carefully, she helped put the ornaments on my head, along with the crown. As I faced my reflection in the mirror, an involuntary smile appeared on my face. Turning around, I asked, "So, how do I look?" Mia lovingly replied that I looked stunning as a bride, but my mother was still the most beautiful of all. We both laughed and agreed.Expressing my happiness for my mother's union after so many years, Mia comforted me, saying, "I can't imagine her wolf's silent suffering all these years. She did this for you, Hope!" Mia placed her hand on my shoulder, and with that, we headed to the courtyard.Upon entering the courtyard, I spotted my father and Noah. I looked to the side and saw my mother dressed as a bride. Lily whispered softly in my ear, "You're the most beautiful bride here." I smiled, eyes welling up, and offered my hand t

The light revealed a dark and unfamiliar environment, a cold and oppressive cell.A sinister smile emerged in the dimness as my beta, someone I had trusted for years, appeared before me. "Don't bother moving; these chains are made of pure iron. Every attempt to free yourself will burn your skin," he whispered, laughing between his teeth.Impatiently, I growled and angrily asked what he had done. "Where are Hope and Lily? Why are you doing this?" My voice echoed in the dark cell.He mockingly laughed before responding, "I thought I would get rid of that brat during the competition, but she proved herself. I tried to kill her, but now that you're weak in my hands, killing her will be easy. You were the main obstacle." He shrugged as if it were something trivial. My patience reached its limit. I huffed indignantly; we had already distanced ourselves enough from the confrontation, and my tantrum was pointless now.Once inside, my mother ran towards me to give me a hug, thanking Noah for bringing me back."Hope, my daughter, I was so worried. Why did you run away without telling anyone? You're the alpha's daughter; someone could have tried to kidnap you to blackmail your father. Is she okay?" she inquired, concerned. Before I could answer, the door opened, and Hope entered, supporting Noah, who coughed due to smoke exposure. Lily raised an eyebrow, clearly perplexed."Why did you bring this boy back?" she questioned, with a firm tone.I took a deep breath, facing Lily. "He is Hope's fated mate. She refuses to let me kill him."Hope guided Noah to the room and requested the doctor to attend to him. Lily looked at me, confused and worried. "And now, what are we going to do?""I cannot allow my daughter to marry a lone wolf," I declared, firmness in my words.
