POV Hope

I could feel my face burning from the strong slap I received; the pain throbbed as he advanced towards me, pressing his hands against my neck. A distressing sensation left me struggling to breathe.

"Alpha..." I tried to mumble, but my voice came out weak, muffled by the pressure on my neck.

"I warned you. Never try to interfere between me and your mother. You came to this pack with the goal of controlling your wolf. Don't try to meddle in my leadership or the rules!" He yelled angrily, pressing even harder on my neck, suffocating me.

Suddenly, he let go, and my body fell to the ground. Still weak, I opened my mouth trying to pull in as much air as possible into my lungs.

"Get out!" He ordered, pointing to the door. I was paralyzed, my body weak, unable to move. I must have been without oxygen for at least five minutes, and dizziness overwhelmed me, as if I were about to vomit.

"Get out! I won't repeat myself!" He snarled angrily. In frustration, he grabbed me by the shirt col

POV Supreme AlphaThe office was shrouded in dim light when Hope left, and I immediately called my beta. I coughed violently, tasting blood in my mouth, almost vomiting the meal I had barely touched. The beta entered hastily, concern etched on his face."Alpha, your condition is worsening. We need to act fast, or it will be too late. Hope may be the key to your cure," he warned, trying to keep his voice steady.I leaned back in the chair, momentarily ignoring the pain. "No, beta. I won't involve my daughter in this. I brought her back for her to learn to control her wolf, not to save mine. I don't care about dying."The beta frowned, refusing to accept my resignation. "Alpha, you can't just give up. If you continue like this, you'll die, and I don't want to lose my leader.""You know the price of this, beta. I can't put Hope in the middle. It's not fair to her."The beta took a deep breath before asking, "Is this about Lily, isn't it?"I bowed my head, feeling the weight of the past o

**POV Hope**"Hope? Hope? Is everything okay? I'm so sorry; I shouldn't have told you those things!" Mia said nervously."Mia, my mother suffered a lot, and I didn't know about it. I blamed her and treated her badly all this time while she was trying to protect me from my biological father by keeping me away from him. But now, she gave up on me and handed me over to him," I said sadly, recalling my mother's last words, telling me to leave with a backpack and some clothes. The last vision I had of her, she was crying while I was forced into the car by the beta and the Supreme Alpha. Maybe I had been too much of a rebellious teenager."What makes you think your mother gave up on you?" Mia asked, confused."She handed me over to him without questioning and let me go..." I said with tears in my eyes. Deep down, I missed my normal life, my family."Your sister is an Omega; she couldn't refuse an order from the Supreme Alpha. Now that he found her, she couldn't fight him because your father

Pov HopeThe pain throbbed in my scalp as I was separated from the other she-wolf. The head of the guard, a robust wolf with battle-worn scars, held us firmly, his stern eyes expressing disapproval."This is unacceptable! What do you think you're doing?" He growled, glaring at both of us. "We've had enough issues without young she-wolves fighting among themselves."The girl who started the fight, with a mocking smile, threw her final words before being pulled away."You'll never be one of us, Hope. Just a stupid human world girl, without a wolf. You should join the omegas!"The other pack members laughed as I tried to free myself from the strong grip of the head of the guard. The humiliation was embarrassing, but I held back my tears and took a deep breath. The head of the guard made the decision to end the training and sent us to our rooms to rest. However, he called me for a private conversation."Hope, I expected more from you. We can't have pack members fighting each other. These

I knew this would be a crucial moment, the culmination of years of preparation and self-discovery.At the coach's command, I began to focus my energy, feeling the transformation approaching. A wave of heat surged through my body; every muscle and bone seemed to adjust, and I immersed myself in the unique sensation of taking on my lupine form. Finally, it happened. My body trembled, and I now found myself in the form of a strong wolf. I looked around, realizing enhanced vision, hearing, and scent. My wolf, Gaya, my inner wolf, and I were now a force to be reckoned with. The pack around me was momentarily silent, watching the transformation with a mix of respect and surprise. The looks that were once filled with disdain now carried a touch of recognition. I had become a fundamental part of the pack, and t

I, the Supreme Alpha, was seated in my armchair, trying to suppress the cough that had plagued me for weeks. The doctor, an experienced man, remained serious as he analyzed the results of the tests."I fear I can no longer postpone, Alpha. Your condition has worsened significantly, and the treatment we were using is no longer effective. You have, at most, six months," explained the doctor, his eyes laden with sadness.I coughed again, this time tasting the metallic flavor of blood in my mouth. The news was like a crushing weight on my shoulders, and the fragility of my own existence became undeniable."We've exhausted all available treatment options. Unfortunately, there's no cure for this disease, and soon it will spread to other organs, resulting in multiple organ failure. I'm sorry, Alpha."As I absorbed the gravity of the situation, the Beta entered th

pov hopeThe sunset painted the sky with shades of orange, and the fresh night air spread through the pack. I, Hope, walked alongside Mia, my trusted friend, curious about the latest news she was about to share."So, Mia, what's all this fuss about the competition?" I asked, my voice filled with disbelief. "The competition will be here in our pack?"Mia nodded, maintaining a serious expression. "Yes, apparently, the Supreme Alpha decided this at the last minute. He sent messengers to other packs and shared the new rules on the bulletin board."Curious, we walked to the spot where the bulletin board was nailed to the wall in the middle of the courtyard. Several rules were listed, and as I examined them, confusion settled in my mind."Wolves under eighteen can't compete? Only men can participate, not women? You need to be a skilled warrior and still not have found your mate?" I couldn't comprehend the logic behind these restrictions. "This is ridiculous. The New Moon competition was for

The buzz and excitement filled the air in the pack, but my anxiety was fueled by my mother's absence.I was restless. The competition was about to begin, but my mother hadn't shown up yet. Uncertainty hung in the air, and Mia tried to calm my nerves."Mia, where is my mother? She should have arrived by now," I asked, my voice filled with concern.Mia looked around, searching for any sign of Hope's mother. "I don't know, Hope. Maybe she faced some delay. Let's give it a bit more time. She will come."News about the competition spread quickly. Mia continued, "All the competitors from other packs are here. The Alpha has already announced that the winner will marry you."My expression hardened at the revelation. "This is unacceptable, Mia. I won't let my father decide my fate like this. I need to do something."Mia sighed. "What can you do, Hope? You don't have a choice."Determin

He was alone, apart from the other competitors, as if he preferred solitude."What's your name?" I asked, maintaining a friendly tone despite his closed expression."None of your business. Go back to your dorm," he replied sharply, not even looking in my direction.Surprised by the rudeness, I persisted. "I was just trying to make allies. Like you, it seems you don't know anyone here. Everyone is someone important's child. Why not join forces?"He let out a cynical laugh. "You want to join me? A wolf without a pack? Sounds pretty stupid to me."The honesty of his words hit me, but I didn't back down. "Don't underestimate a lone wolf. I might surprise you. Besides, I don't care about others' importance. I'm only interested in strength and determination."He stared at me for a moment, assessing my words. Then, in a provocative tone, he ques

Carefully, she helped put the ornaments on my head, along with the crown. As I faced my reflection in the mirror, an involuntary smile appeared on my face. Turning around, I asked, "So, how do I look?" Mia lovingly replied that I looked stunning as a bride, but my mother was still the most beautiful of all. We both laughed and agreed.Expressing my happiness for my mother's union after so many years, Mia comforted me, saying, "I can't imagine her wolf's silent suffering all these years. She did this for you, Hope!" Mia placed her hand on my shoulder, and with that, we headed to the courtyard.Upon entering the courtyard, I spotted my father and Noah. I looked to the side and saw my mother dressed as a bride. Lily whispered softly in my ear, "You're the most beautiful bride here." I smiled, eyes welling up, and offered my hand t

The light revealed a dark and unfamiliar environment, a cold and oppressive cell.A sinister smile emerged in the dimness as my beta, someone I had trusted for years, appeared before me. "Don't bother moving; these chains are made of pure iron. Every attempt to free yourself will burn your skin," he whispered, laughing between his teeth.Impatiently, I growled and angrily asked what he had done. "Where are Hope and Lily? Why are you doing this?" My voice echoed in the dark cell.He mockingly laughed before responding, "I thought I would get rid of that brat during the competition, but she proved herself. I tried to kill her, but now that you're weak in my hands, killing her will be easy. You were the main obstacle." He shrugged as if it were something trivial. My patience reached its limit.
