~The devil and I get along just fine. ~
The drive was covered with talk between ladies. Zion was busy looking outside but he was listening to everything."So, when are your exams?" Angela asked her."In two months." She replied."Okay great. I heard you are an A+ student. It won't be difficult to get admission in any university. Zion will help you too, right?" She looked at him and glared."I think you are forgetting something here." He looked at Hannah from the rear view mirror, "She is not my responsibility. You and Dad can help her as much as you want. I am already doing more than enough." He made it clear and clearly saw the color on her face fading."Zion behave." Angela scolded him and they were already outside the mall. He did not wait for them and got out of the car. He stretched lazily.Angela cursed in her mind. She looked at Hannah, "Sweetie, don't mind him. Don't take anything to heart. He is always like this and I am sure you will chang~I want to be your favourite place to go when you've had a bad day or a good day.~ "Hannah, you should have invited Angela and Zion home." Anna complained. "Mom, they were busy. Aunt Angela told me they will come some other time." Hannah responded while putting all the shopping bags on the table. "You bought so much." "She insisted." "Okay. I will look at these things later but tell me first, did you like Zion? How is he?" The mother was curious to know.
~I want only two things in the world. I want you and I want us.~Life has always been tiring for her. She was sitting on the bench in the park while her eyes were roaming on the blue sky. It looked especially beautiful today. Through clouds, the sun rays were reaching Earth's surface. She inhaled deeply.People were enjoying their time with their families, with their loved ones. She glanced at them with an envious look and again sighed deeply. It was the nth time I was sighing just in 10 minutes. However, she saw someone familiar taking a stroll in the park. Their eyes met and a beautiful smile played on her lips. Hannah walked in her direction and the other girl hugged her."Hannah, where were you? You didn't even come to the club?" Yuri pouted in disappointment."Things happened." She told her, "And I have quit working there."
~A good woman will never force a man to realize that she is a good woman. If he doesn't recognise that on his own, its his loss.~Zion stepped out of the car with his family. He put his hands in the pockets of the pants while his eyes leisurely swept across the place. The hotel wasn't really exquisite. He frowned. He hates cheap places. 'It must have been selected by his cheap family.' Bitterness spread across his mouth.Meanwhile, Angela was talking on the phone besides. "Yes we are outside, waiting for you." He heard her saying and she hung up soon."They are here. Let's wait for them." Angela informed them at which Mr. Aiden Black, her brother and her sister in law nodded. While these youngsters were in their own thoughts.Soon, a vehicle halted. Zion narrowed his eyes. He expected it to be them. The door opened, first a midd
~Better a cruel truth, than a comfortable delusion.~ They went inside the hotel. There were private rooms and the rest of the family was sitting in one of them. Ravi sat besides his aunt so only two of the chairs were left. Zion and Hannah naturally had to sit with each other. That was going to be the most uncomfortable and awkward dinner of her life. In the start, Hannah did not care about getting married. She was just worried about the behaviour of Zion. But now, when the time of marriage is getting closer, she is getting anxious. Her heart was beating so fast against the rib cage that she is sure, even he has heard it's beating. "How about we sign the papers first?" Mr. Aiden Black suggested at which everyone agreed besides Zion and Hannah. Mr. Aiden Black observed Hannah. "Hannah...." He called her so she was forced to
~ Your soulmate isn't someone that comes into your life peacefully. It is someone who comes to make you question things, who changes your reality. Who manages to revolutionize your world in seconds.~ They had dinner in a cheerful ambiance. But Hannah was not able to swallow a single bite. 'I am surely going to get indigestion.' She thought. The staring competition between Daniel and Zion was still not over and she was the most uncomfortable person because of it. If it was possible to kill a person just with eyes, she would have been dead long ago. Finally after a long time, the dinner was over and it was time to say goodbye. These two to three hours passed like eternity and Hannah let out a silent sigh of relief. She planned to go home and start a new life. Daniel was not going to bother her again and suppose if he does, then Angela had already thrown a bai
~Speak your mind even if your voice shakes.~ Soon, the vehicle halted in front of the tiny apartment which Zion had seen before too. Hannah stepped out of the car, "Good night." She said but he did not even bother to look at her. 'His mood swings are worse than a pregnant woman.' Hannah thought and shut the door with a little more force and the car drove off leaving her alone. His ignorance did not hurt her this time. Hannah entered the password of the house and went inside. The house was pitch dark. 'They must have gone to sleep.' She thought and took a sigh of relief because she was in no mood to answer their countless questions. Hannah went to her room and took out a PJ from the closet. She took a shower but today wasn't her day either. Daniel
~I'd be his, if he asked.~ In the morning, Hannah woke up from the wildly ringing phone. She rubbed her eyes, trying to remove the signs of sleep from the eyes and glanced at the blinking name on the screen. It was her mother and she couldn't avoid her but this time she was not going to tell her what her husband has done to her. It is of no use. Last time she got to know, she married him. Now, if she will get to know the reality, who knows what will happen this time? Maybe she will have to live with Zion and she is not ready for it right now. "Hello." Hannah spoke in her sleep voice. "Hannah, ohh God. Thankfully you received my call. Where are you? Did you come home last night?" She thought Hannah didn't come because she was with Zion. "Eomma, I want to tell you something." Hannah was damn serious
~If you could read my mind, I am pretty sure you'd either be traumatized, sexually arouse or both.~ Hannah's days at Jess's home were probably the best days of her life. Her own home brought unluckiness in her life. Here, she could concentrate on her studies better. Her life got easier. She left her part time job at a club. Now, she only works at the cafe and a convenience store. Her work life was smooth and the confidence which lacked about gaining a scholarship was also coming back from the continuous hard work. Even though she got no time to sleep, she was happy and had no complaints. Jess was also understanding of her. Whenever Hannah would be busy in her studies she never bothered her with anything even if it meant bringing a glass of water. She was genuinely cheering for her success and she believed that Hannah will make it one day.
