Our time on Bora Bora for the next several days is mostly spent near the house. Dante was worried about more attempts on my life.

Josiah had learned that someone had called the owner of the dive shop that was in charge of our tour. Apparently, they had offered to pay them a shit ton of money so that I was ensured to get the tank that had the least air in it.

Now let me be clear, this wasn’t as big of a deal as Dante and Josiah were making it out to be. Yes, I was scared, but it wasn’t like I was really going to run out of air. The tank beeping alerted us, but I had plenty of time to get to the surface. I would have had plenty of time even if Dante and Josiah hadn’t helped me.

I think that it’s just the premise. That someone had threatened my life, along with everything else that had been going on. It was scary and Dante didn’t want to take any chances.

He’s been…kind. Very different from anything that he’s ever shown me.

It’s seductive, and amazing, and really, real

I hate that our “honeymoon” was marred by the air tank thing, because it was honestly one of the best times of my life. Dante is actually decent company. He’s funny, attentive, and a good conversationalist. Surprisingly well read and traveled. Even though the air tank thing was scary, Dante quickly took my mind off of it without making me feel like he was pandering to me or that he was hiding things. Today is our last day in Bora Bora. Our plane leaves tonight. The house staff are packing our bags And Dante and I are taking a final glass-bottom boat tour of the islands. Unsurprisingly, Josiah is driving the boat. He’s been leading many of our excursions, typically with another guard. Today, that second guard is one of the younger ones, Michael. This is his first trip with the Luciano family, which means that he’s got to be pretty good at what he does. I’ve been trying to get to know all the guards a little, since we spend a lot of time together. But Michael is rather

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 28

We’ve been home for two days, unpacking and getting over jet lag. Today is my first day of work in the new offices in the Luciano branch of the business. I can’t say that I’m not nervous. I’ve just been in charge of talent acquisition at Rothschild’s Reads. Now I’ll be in charge of multiple departments. Editing, e-book business, talent acquisition. It’s a lot. And all of this will be under the watchful eye of the don, the most powerful, and scary, man in New York. And I’m under no delusions that if I fail the don, daughter-in-law or no daughter-in-law, I will be held accountable. I dress in one of my favorite suits. It’s a Kelly green three piece suit with a crop top underneath. I pair it with gold earrings, a simple chain necklace, and a pair of black Louis Vuitton heels. I leave my hair down and do my make up with a bold red lip. I feel fucking powerful. Like the bad ass bitch that I am. I breeze out of my room and walk directly into the kitchen with Mrs. Hughe

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 29

It’s been about a week since I started my new position in the Luciano portion of Rothschild’s Reads. I thought it was weird that Don Luciano elected to keep my family’s name as top billinging for the company. Then I realized that they needed my family name for it to be legit. Seems like I’m not the only thing that my father whored out. I haven’t spoken to Dante since my first morning at work. At first, I didn’t really worry about it. I was too busy trying to get my feet wet on the job. We probably just had different schedules. But after a few days, well…it was pretty obvious that he was avoiding me. Whatever, not a big deal. Honestly, I’m kind of relieved. It makes it so that I don’t have to worry about his shit. Don Luciano granted us a week break from the family dinners since we just got back from our “honeymoon” and started work this week. So, on Saturday evening, I convinced Mrs. Hughes to allow me to cook and invited Emily over. “Girl, this place is…” Emily start

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 30

I don’t know how we make it to Dante’s bedroom. All I know is the feeling of Dante’s mouth on mine and his hands touching everywhere. It’s overwhelming and so pleasurable that I can’t help but get lost in the feeling of it. I have wanted this man ever since our first kiss at our wedding and no amount of battery inducing orgasms have made the need for him go away. I had thought that we were getting closer over our honeymoon and then he went and pulled his disappearing act. I should stop this, I know it. But it feels too damn good. And, per our contract, we’re going to be fucking in a matter of days anyway. Might as well get used to it, right? That’s what I tell myself to hide the simple truth. I just fucking want him. In his bedroom, Dante kicks his door closed behind us and spins me around so he’s pushing me up against the door. His hands are under my shirt and cupping my breasts, teasing the nipples through my thin bra.He tastes like fine scotch, and minty toothpaste, an

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 31

I wake up in a different bedroom than the one that I’m used to, but I can smell Dante’s cologne, so I know that I’m in my house. There’s an arm slung across my waist holding me to a hard body. There are breaths tickling my neck, a light snore buzzing in my ear. It’s when my eyes snag on the clothes strewn across the entryway that it all comes back to me. FUCKED. DANTE. Oh my fucking God! And he’s the one that’s got his arm wrapped around me right now. Fuck! This was not in the plans. I was not going to do that this soon. And it was only supposed to be about me getting pregnant. I wasn’t supposed to have five of the best orgasms of my life just for shits and giggles. I facepalm myself HARD. I can’t believe that I did this. Ok, right now, I don’t have time to wallow in this shit. I need to get the hell out of Dante’s bed. I look over my shoulder at the alarm clock and see that I have about an hour to get dressed and to work. And I just can’t deal with this right

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 32

For a second, I just stare at him with complete shock and a little bit of lust. That quickly turns into a lot of anger. I plant both of my hands on his chest and push him away from me. “What the actual fuck is wrong with you?!” I whisper-yell at him. For one, I don’t want to draw the attention of all of our employees. But for two, the angrier I get, the quieter I get. I’ve been told that it’s more than a little disconcerting. Good. I want to scare him. “Newsflash, asswipe. You can’t leave me alone for two weeks and then come back drunk to fuck me and expect me to be head over heels for you,” I hiss at him. “You are my fucking wife. When I bed you, I expect you to be there when I wake up,” he nearly screams, getting in my face with him. “And why the fuck is that?! You don’t fucking own me! We’re married on paper, that’s all. We can’t even stand to be around each other for more than a few hours!” I retort. He grabs my upper arms, pulling me so that my body is flush

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 33

“The hell you will!” Dante spits out, anger suffusing his features. “Fucking hell,” i mutter, taking the time to shut down my laptop. “Dante, I really don’t have time to talk about this right now. This is a business meeting with someone who just happens to be an old friend - “ “Friend?” Gabbi says, a smirk covering his face. “Is that what people are calling it today?” It causes a growl to pour out of Dante’s mouth and I can’t help but roll my eyes. “One, Gabbi, not helpful. Two, Dante, cut the shit. I have to do this as part of my job. A job, might I add, that your father gave to me. So back the hell off, go do whatever it is you do during the day, and we can go back to arguing about our sex life at home,” I say, turning to face both men. Grayson, still standing by the door where Gabbi brushed past him, snickers a laugh. He stage whispers, “That’s my favorite little ball buster.” Gabbi still has that shit eating grin on his face, like he has a secret that none of us

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 34

I don’t know how Gabbi does it, but he gets us a table at Daniel’s restaurant. I know that Daniel is supposedly a great friend of Gabbi’s family and all, but the place has a wait list that is month’s long. It makes absolutely no sense to me that Gabbi is able to get us a table on such short notice. But here we are, in the opulent kitchen, sitting at the coveted chef’s table. The second that Daniel saw us, he came over and gave me a huge hug and kisses on the cheeks in the European way. “Quinn! It’s been so long. Look at how beautiful you are. Isn’t she beautiful Gabriele?” “More beautiful every time that I look at her,” Gabbi says and I can’t help the blush that colors my cheeks. But Daniel doesn’t stop there. He gets a stern look on his face. “How could you not come to see me in all this time?” “I’m sorry, Danielle. It just hurt, you know?” I tell him. “Oh, I know, sweet girl,” Daniel tells me, kissing my cheeks once again. Then he turns to Gabbi with an even more st

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Epilogue - Chapter 6

“DANTE!” I literally scream as my fingers curl into his hair, holding his mouth against me as I ride his face. His mouth has latched onto my clit, sucking and tugging at it, while his hand turns upward, his fingers making a ‘come hither’ gesture. I have never squirted with any other man and I’ve only done it a few times when my need for Dante is almost all consuming. It feels very different from a regular orgasm, the pressure building up almost as if you have to pee. But the release is so fucking good. It leaves me limp, like a rag doll. And it soaks everything. Especially if it is the first orgasm. From the way that Dante’s fingers are pressing at and rubbing on my g-spot, he wants me limp and happy when he enters me. There is something to be said for allowing a man to have his way with you. However he wants you. He moans into me, the vibrations causing me to clench around his fingers and I know that I am close. Can feel the wave starting to

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Epilogue - Chapter 5

Dante chases me into the ocean, not that I can actually go very far. Or want to. He’s quickly gotten all of his clothes off and has thrown them onto the sand. The last thing that I see flying off is his Versace watch, thrown somewhere in the direction of his pants. Then he’s running into the water after me. I make it until I’m about hip deep in the water before Dante catches me. “Fuck, cara mia. You’re so sexy,” he says as his hands move all over my body, starting with my stomach, move down to my ass to pull me close to him, and up to my tits. “I need you.” “You have me, baby. What are you gonna do with me now that you have me?” I ask him. He chuckles darkly. “Anything I want.” He grabs a fistful of my hair, pulling back just hard enough that my head is tipped up toward him. Dante takes my lips with his, completely dominating my mouth. I love this. I love when he takes complete and utter contr

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Epilogue - Chapter 4

“Mama! I want to go play in the pool! Let me go!” Freddie is squirming everywhere in my arms, trying to get down and run out of the kitchen door into the backyard of the Luciano estate. Ok, I can’t say that I blame him. I’ve been holding him for about five minutes, not quite ready to let him go. “Topina, you have to let him go. We’re going to miss our flight,” Dante whispers along my shoulder, the vibration causing shivers to go down my spine. “You on the plane,” I say with a pout. “What’s the point of owning the plane if you can’t leave when you want to?” But I understand what he’s saying. I need to let Freddie go. It’s just that this is the first time that I will have spent more than a weekend away from my boy and he was always just down the road with Grayson and Rocco or Emily and Josiah or at Dante’s parents’ house. This will be the first time that I can’t just hop in the car and get to him if he needs me. I watch as Freddi

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Epilogue - Chapter 3

After my spa day with Bianca, I went to Freddie’s pre-school to pick him up at the end of the day. He runs out and directly into my arms. “Mommy! Mommy! I’m so excited!” he cries as I pick him up and squeeze him tight. I’m not going to be able to pick him up much longer. At four months pregnant, my OBGYN would probably be apoplectic over the fact that I’m carrying him right now. But it’s something that I know I’m going to miss and have decided that I’m going to carry him until my anniversary in a week, when I’ll have hit the five-month mark. Yes, it’s an arbitrary time, but I it’s the decision I made and I’m going to stick with it. “Hello, amore. How was your day at school? What has you so excited?” I ask him, turning and carrying him to the car. Josiah clucks his tongue as he sees me carrying Freddie in my arms, but he doesn’t say anything. He knows from experience with his own wife having been pregnant that you don’t fight with a mother-t

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Epilogue - Chapter 2

When I first met Bianca, I thought that she was stuck up, petty, and materialistic. I would have thought that she would want a black-tie affair without children in the most expensive and exclusive place in New York. Now that I really know my sister-in-law, nothing could be further from the truth. Yeah, the girl loves to shop and she was never seen anywhere without her red bottomed shoes and Kate Spade bag. But when it came to what is important to her, family was the name of the game. “Honesty, Quinn, I would love to just go down to City Hall with the family and then go out to dinner. But you know Papà won’t allow that,” she groans. It’s been a month since my brother had proposed and, even though Emilia has tried to get Bianca to start planning the wedding, Bianca has steadfastly put her mother off. Today, Bianca and I are having a spa day. We’ve already had facials and massages and are in the process of pedicures before we get mani

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Epilogue - Chapter 1

Three years later… “Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Freddie! Happy Birthday to you!” My beautiful little boy, Frederico “Freddie” Dante Luciano, is turning three years old today. Here we are, surrounded by family and friends and sugar high toddlers, in a place that I never thought that we would make. Of course, the second the we finish singing and Freddie blew out his candles, he immediately shoved his hand into the cake, screaming, “It’s chocolate cake! Mommy got me chocolate cake!” “Oh, Freddie! That was for everyone. You can’t put your hands in it,” I scold him. “You say that like you don’t have two other cakes in the kitchen, cara mia. Let the boy enjoy his cake,” Dante tells me as he wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses my head. “Then you can be the one to put him to bed tonight,” I tell Dante to loud laughs from Emily who is holding her and Josiah’s two-year-old

Rocco looks at me, completely gobsmacked. “W-w-what do you mean?” I roll my eyes. “Do you really think Grayson wouldn’t tell me everything? Especially after I caught the two of you fucking the bathroom! Why are you keeping my best friend a secret?” “I’m not!” Rocco cries, though it is very obvious that neither of us believe him. I don’t even dignify that with a response. I just fold my arms over my very full breasts and stomach and glare at the man. “I’m not ashamed of being with Grayson!” he insists, eyes wide. “I just…” Rocco’s words peter out like he isn’t sure how to explain. I look around the room that we’re in and realize that it’s an office. Good. I can’t stand for long with the baby being this big and sitting on my hips. Makes my legs numb. Grabbing a seat, I watch my brother-in-law begin to pace as he tells me what’s going on. “My family knows that I’m gay. I came out to Bianca and Dante when

  • Yours On The Dotted Line   Chapter 93

“It started right after Dante found you and we all were basically meeting up at the hospital,” Grayson tells me. We’re sitting in the front of Dante and my car. Grayson hasn’t looked at me since we sat down. I can tell that he’s worried about how I’ll react to the story. That in and of itself makes me sad. That he thinks that I wouldn’t be there for him. That I wouldn’t be happy for him. “At first, we just happened to be at the hospital at the same time. I noticed that Rocco took his coffee the same way I did, so I started picking up coffee for the both of us. And then he started grabbing pastries for us. Somehow one thing led to another and we ended up in a heavy make out session, dry humping against the alley wall of a café.” “And you weren’t going to tell anyone?” I ask. “Didn’t you think that we would be happy for you?” “It’s not that...” he sighs. “At first, we kept quiet because of everything that was going on with your ki
