“Yes, you are correct,” Michael said. He had been waiting all this time to tell this to her. After thorough and painful procedures to find the whereabouts of the girl that he had saved two years ago, he found that Elaine was indeed that girl.
Hearing the confirmation from her own mouth strengthed his doubt and now it turned into reality.
Elaine was speechless as she stared at Michael. She had not thought that Michael would be the one who had saved her from the grasp of death.
“The girl I helped back then, that was you,” Michael spoke once more as he clasped his hand around her tiny shaking hands.
Elaine felt the warmth of the bog palm on the back of her hand. When she was vulnerable, it was Michael who had helped her. She had owed him a debt…unknowingly. However, when she saved him back then, her debt had been repaid…that too unknowingly.
It was as if karma really went round and round. A smile of relief appeared on her lips.

That whole day, Elaine and Michale spent it visiting the accident site, the grandparents, and also her high school. Since she had finally returned here after so long, she wanted to go and see everything before returning back. After normal breakfast and some warm tea, she and Michael took the car to drive to the house of her grandparents first. It was going to be a surprise visit, hence she was more than excited about this. “Well, are they the ones who came to visit you when you were hospitalized?” Michale asked as they drove on the silent road. As it was a village road, there was less traffic and fewer people on the road. However, once in a while, animals like goats and cows managed to cross their path. “Yes,” Elaine nodded in confirmation. She brightened up at the mention of the two elderly people and could not help but smile. She missed them a lot. “After my parents died, I went into depression,” Elaine said as she looked outside the window. She was a kid back
It was the day after they had gone drinking in the bar. Michael rubbed his eyes as he got up on yhr bed.He stiffened when he realized something was wrong. “Elaine!” Michael called out her name when he found out that she was not beside him anymore. The space beside him on the bed was as empty and as cold as ice. The warmth that he had experienced the night before was nowhere to be found. He was half asleep and started to touch around the bed sheet to see if she had gone a little further but no matter how much he rummaged through the place there was not a sign of the girl that he was looking for.His heart collapsed all of a sudden when he realized that Elaine was indeed not beside him anymore. The bed was indeed empty and cold, but his heartfelt much colder as if he was struck by a sharp icicle from Antarctica.Without wasting a moment, he jumped right out of the bed without even caring about the fact that it was mid-winter and the temperature was f
“Are you done yet?” Michael asked as he looked at his watch. After breakfast, he and Elaine had planned to go on a date. Technically, it was going to be their first date outside of the work they did together. ‘Can it be considered a date?’ Michael was not so sure. After the little intimate interaction they had on his villa, both of them had been silent about it. He knew Elaine had a bit positive feelings about him, which to his pleasure was a surprise. However, with the matter of her parents in their hands, he did not want to press her about it. But, now that they had confessed and even k-kissed, he decided it was the right time for the date he had always wanted to take her to. That was the reason why he was impatient as he waited for Elaine to dress up. Right at the moment, he heard the door open. “Talk of the devil,” a smile spread on his lips. He turned to look at the door. Elaine emerged from the main door, a bit breathless. “I am
"This..." Elaine could not help but be surprised at this."You like it?" Michael asked, a bit nervous and a bit confident about this. He did not know what to choose for the date, so he ended up choosing this place instead. "I am not good at dates and kinds of stuff, I have never done it before," Michael immediately added. He looked a bit flustered as he spoke. "Still...I hope I did my best," he showed a smile full of sincerity and affection. That look in his eyes was more than enough to have her melt like wax. "Michael..."Elaine called him out feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the emotions that were welling up inside her heart. Even if he had taken her to a museum, she would have loved it either way. However, looking at the beautiful sea in front of her, she was really impressed. He managed to exceed her expectation...like always. "Like it?" Elaine gasped, a bit breathless. "I love it!" She giggled as she clasped her hands to her mouth. She
“Why do you look this happy all the time now a days?” Yuri looked at Elaine who was happily humming a song as she watered the plant in the balcony. “Hmm..” Elaine asked him as she felt there was something wrong with the way she said it. “Oh no I mean…” Yuri scratched the back of his head as he tried to rephrase what he just said. “I mean it is fine that you are looking happy now a days and all but I am asking the reason.” Yuri wanted to be sure that this girl had not got herself in to a troublesome situation like last time. “Oh no, it’s nothing. I am just happy.” Elaine gave a cheerful smile as she looked at the man standing on the door. “Why? Can’t I look happy?” She pouted slightly as she looked at Yuri who was almost about to break out in to sweat. Looking at him get anxious was hilarious to look at. “That was not what I uhh..”his voice trailed off while trying to make her understand that his intention were clear and pure with not even a bit of moc
“Where is everyone?” A man dressed in a black tailored suit was standing on an elevated platform that was on the center of the ground. “Is everyone dead?” He shouted out loud but the only thing that replied back to him was his own reflected voice. He was surrounded by black chairs from all around and with how dark the room looked, the person looked much more intimidating than he was. The size of the room was immense but the presence of the man was much greater than the room itself. Hearing his voice, a man who was also dressed formally came running forward from the door. From the looks of it, he seemed to be some kind of security guard. “B-Boss..” He was staggering as he walked. From how surprised and taken aback he looked, there was no doubt, the visit from this Boss was unexpected. “Oh, here comes someone,” he chuckled as he spoke. His eyes followed the movement of the man from the moment he had entered the hall. Seemed
Dave; He is the leader of the Black Rose Gang. After spending his time in seclusion after the demise of his parents, he had not appeared much often in the public. After all, his gang, and especially the head was in a vulnerable position of getting killed anytime. So, all this time, he had been living in foreign nations, hiding while making plans to come back to the central city. He could never abandon the central city, after all, it was the palace where everything started. He had plans to attack the Tyrell Gang slowly when it was weakened. He had also planned to take help from Aurora and anyone he could. He did not mind getting his hand dirty to get what he wanted. However, everything changed when he got the recent news. Someone was digging into the past of the black rose gang and their misconduct. Well, it was only fair that as a mafia gang, they are supposed to do dirty work. Nevertheless, this was going to pour water into all of his har
“Oho, little missy.” Dave saw that Elaine had somehow loosened the rope that had bound her hand. “Are you trying to escape from here?” he asked with a mockery smile on his face. The look on his face clearly said that he was not going to let her leave this place alive or dead. “Dave!” Elaine muttered the name half conscious, half asleep. There was no way he was going to let the girl who ruined their perfect plan and reduced it to nothingness to go away from his hands. Elaine looked at her hands and turned her attention to the guy who was slowly advancing toward herself. ‘Just a little more,’ she encouraged herself to not give up and continued with the work of untying the rope. If she was going to leave this place alive, no one else was going to help her except herself. She did not want anything to happen to others anymore. Taking a deep breathe she looked at the side and saw the lifeless body of Ark which was b
Everything looks perfect. It was the perfect evening with the perfect scene of the evening sun that was setting on the horizon. Peace, serenity and contentment; a mixture of all these feelings overflew within Elaine as she looked at the silent beach while silently looking at the constant ebb of the waves. How long it had been since they saw something like this together, she wondered as her hands travelled to touch the back of Michael’s hand that was resting on her lap. Two figures stayed in silence that was equivalent to their inner peace and satisfaction on a bench near the sea looking at the seagulls that were flying on the great bluish red horizon. “Thank you for being with me all this time,” Elaine smiled as she looked at the profile view of Michael who had a faint smile on his well chiseled face. It was their 5th year of marriage; according to some people this amount of time was more than enough for th
After two years A beautiful and well-maintained Villa was in sight. It was surrounded by a huge plain land that was filled with beautiful flowers and plants. The whole scene looked quite mesmerizing and enchanting. The sun was high up in the sky by was slowly moving towards the western hills to hide itself amongst the clouds, painting the whole sky golden and a bright shade of red. One would probably call this setting romantic or better, a beautiful scene right out of a fairy tale. Few people were walking in the ground as they busily moved their hands to do the things that needed a lot of manpower and time to do. These people were dressed in neat and ironed maid and butler dresses. But no matter how much they tried to look like well-established gentlemen who were lending hand to the maids to work around, one could see their piercings and tattoos that looked fiercer in contrast
Elaine’s eyelid fluttered open as she felt his hot breath in her ear, making her a bit ticklish. It was winter, however, right now she felt like she was living in mid-summer. The heat surrounding her was enough to melt her. She moved her hand, her fingertips traced a straight line on his masculine back, caressing every muscle before finally reaching his nape. The heat was getting to her mind, making her delirious. However, she followed her desire to give everything to the man she loved, Michael, while taking everything she could from him. Feeling his soft but firm lips against her own, she blushed a bit. Even this small amount of intimacy caused her endless pleasure. Yet, it was just the beginning.
“Hey, where have you been?” Elaine looked with puffed up eyes and a red face, at the guy who was sneaking inside the hospital room. She was holding a pile of laundry in her hand as she glared at the man with red eyes full of questions. “Oops, I was caught right?” Michel who was still dressed in his hospital gown with a bandage around his stomach looked at Elaine with a half embarrassed and half smiling face. “What do you think?” Elaine rolled her eyes as she proceeded to keep the folded laundry in the wardrobe. Although he was caught sneaking, his face showed no sign of remorse or regret. In contrast, he seemed to be a little happy about it. No matter what he did, it seemed to him that he could not run away from his lover’s eyes. It kind of made him happy. “Well, I am back, aren’t I?” He winked while hiding something in his hand. He was holding something in his hand that he had gotten after sneaking out. He placed his h
Elaine did not know when or how they reached the hospital. All she saw was the bleeding man in front of her, the man she loved. He was unconscious and it was scary. She did not know what to do except for pleading with the nurses and doctors that were taking him for an operation. “Please, stay with me…” she pleaded as she held his hands. She was breaking down with each passing second. She was dying inside as she watched the weak light in his eyes dilate. “Please, get her to another ward to get a check-up,” the military head asked as soon as Michale was sent to the operating center. She could not believe it, she could not believe anything that was happening at the moment was real. Most importantly, she did not want to believe it was real. She did not want to leave his side no matter what. “Please, miss,” the nurse managed to separate her away from Michale who was heading to the operating room. He needed to get surgery soon, otherwise, he was going to die cause of blood loss. Elaine
Elaine was too shocked and frozen to understand and react to what was happening all of sudden. So, she watched with her eyes opened up in surprise at the devil that was running towards them, well, her to be more precise. …… “What is the situation over there? A man dressed in military dress spoke in his walkie talkie. “Sir,” a man who was in a slightly lower rank than him said with a slightly hesitant voice as he looked at the surrounding around him. They had come here in an important mission as they had gotten a confidential information from their undercover agent that someone from the government was being held hostage by the convict who was supposed to have been dead in the raid 3 months ago. The place they were at was located in an extremely deserted location that even they had hard time finishing. Whoever the person was, he had to salute that person for being able to contact them even while being held hostages. But, it
