The Past

Savannah started her car and reached a large white mansion which was made with expensive white marvels and sculpted with many precious stones. The ceiling of the mansion was in the shape of a dome. It was luxurious and elegant.

When she got out of the car, the gatekeeper greeted her while bowing before her, "Miss you are back. "

"Mhm" She replied briefly out of politeness and then slowly entered inside.

She went straight to the third floor and opened a door which was locked for three years.

When she opened the door wide, a smell gushed out and mixed with the air.

The fragrance had a unique scent which was not so good but gave Savannah a nostalgic feeling.

It was coming from her mother's clothes which were preserved in the almost empty room.

She was standing in the central position of the room and a small photo frame was hanging on the white wall which was not so clean and the plasters were about to be scattered.

Unknowingly the droplets of the tear were coming down from her large eyes and the long lashes were batting again and again to fight against the flow of the water.

"Mom.. " She sat down and let her head down backward as she was exhausted..

She was too tired to think about anything else.

She had never come in this room for three years nor did she let anyone come to this room.

She had blamed her mom for leaving her alone.. Now someone else whom she loved also left her alone.

If the 'today' hadn't come, she didn't believe that he could actually leave her hand like that even without batting his eyelids for once.

She just found the whole situation… ridiculous!

She was actually being… used!

She closed her eyes as that day was visible before her eyes.

Seven years ago..

The seventeen year old Savannah was brought up by her mother only..

Savannah was working in a coffee shop after school.

She rushed to the hospital but when she reached there, she saw a piece of flesh covered with blood and it was hiding under the white sheet which was given by the hospital, even the sheet was also soaked in blood.

She couldn't feel anything for a moment..

She was standing there like a statue which had no life.

It was a huge blow for a seventeen year old girl, who didn't even assume the world properly..

"Are you the daughter of Ms. Ava George? " The doctor came forward, " Sorry, we couldn't save her. As you can see she had been like that when she came to the hospital, so there's nothing we can do. "

"How could this happen? " Savannah didn't know what to say; she could only mumble those words.

"Actually the folks, who brought her here, told us that while she was crossing the road, a car rushed over breaking the signal and hit her and that's how the situation turned out like that. " The doctor concluded.

"The perpetrator won't be punished? " Her eyes became gloomy as she looked at the doctor while being hopeful.

She still joined in Black Corporation for further experience as she wanted to start her own business after completing her study.

With her extreme high grade and intelligence, she got the secretary position of the new general manager of the company even though she was just a freshman.

The new general manager was Daniel Black, the only son of the Black Corporation's CEO.

He worked as a general manager just to learn the business better as he would take the place of his father in future.

After meeting with him, Savannah found a new light in her life.

Not only was the man handsome and young, he was so gentle to her like the boy next door.

They were serious when it came to work but they played around when they had a break..

Like that, they became good friends and day by day it turned into a loving relationship.

They put so much effort into it and stayed together for three years until Daniel took the initiative to break up with her and got married with someone else.

She has lost her mind!

But if she needed to die, she wouldn't die alone but drag Daniel also with her!
