Chapter Twelve

Now that I am happy again I can go back to school and finally graduate and maybe take a business class and hopefully be able to start that restaurant I always wanted. Maybe I will talk to David about it in the morning. I really hate waking him up early. We got in late last night. Which reminds me I need to make some time this weekend for Nicky. For the last two or three weeks I have been spending all my time with David when I am not working that is. That I broke our promise of Friday nights being our girl time. She keeps saying she doesn't mind but I know her better than that.

First thing I have to do this morning is register for school. This is my last chance I put it off for way to long already. If I don't do it now I never will. Before I knew it Christmas came and went. I made out really good, I got new clothes from Nicky and Chris. They said with going back to school and working with Dad that I deserved to have some nice things to wear. David bought me a bunch of new jewelry which I absolutely adore. My favorite is a gold heart shaped locket he engraved with our names and put a picture of us in. I never take it off and when I do its only to shower. Dad got David and I our carpets and flooring for our house which is getting installed as we speak. He said that was his gift to us. One less thing we don't have to worry about. For David I got him a gold watch with our names engraved on the back with a heart. He wears it all the time and shows it off to everyone he meets. I got Nicky and Chris new hoodies and flip-flops, I wasn't sure what to get them. "Lilly may its time to get up and get going. Your going to be late for the first day back to school." David said waking me up.I should have waited to apply for school, I messed up and accidentally enrolled in the next semester rather than in the fall like I wanted to. After the first long week of being back to college the weekend was finally here. Kaidence and Candice asked me to go out with them for some bonding time together. The last couple days were pretty nice and quiet. The plane ride home was way better than the trip out. I think it was because I was excited about going back home to see my family. I missed them so much. I have never been away from my family for very long except when I was in college but that was only a year and I visited every weekend.
