I stand in front of Izzy and Grayson’s mom, holding up the three dresses I bought today, feeling a mixture of anticipation and curiosity. They’re still keeping me in the dark about where I’m going tonight, and I can’t help but feel a little frustrated. They, on the other hand, seem to know exactly what’s going on, as they are quick to point out which dress would be the most suitable for the evening. There was no hesitation in their decision.

They leave, and I get myself ready. Now, looking at myself in the mirror after putting it on again, I can’t deny that they were absolutely right.
