Chapter 69: Strange fruit on a tree

Robert was coughing. "I don't think I will tell you about the First Ginnak today, I don't feel good."

Alexandra who had sat on her favorite spot groaned inaudibly. She was happy when he decided to tell her, but all of a sudden he appeared unwell. She was sure he was fine a few seconds ago.

"That's alright, Robert. I'll go prepare some soup for you." Saying this, Lexi raised and trotted towards the door. She glanced over her shoulder, only to find Robert staring at her with a meaningful look. She felt strange and exited the door.

The Mansion seemed quiet and lifeless to Alexandra, although there were guards and servants, she was already used to Dominic's presence.

"Miss Bernard," A familiar voice called. It was Micheal.

"Michael," She stepped towards him with a smile on her face. Her face flushed a little when he caught her looking at him. "A-are you heading somewhere?" He was fully clothed.

"I have a few errands to run. So, how are you?" A small smile was on his lips. He seemed tired
