Chapter 29: A sneak peek into the past

Inside an old building.

"Why are we here?" Simon queried, he looked over at Dominic who was skimming across the signs on the wall.

"We are here to meet someone," Dominic responded. He gazes over the building, it looked really old and deserted. At one look one would know it held secrets, forbidden truths, and untold prophecies.

It wasn't a regular building, that's why it was located in a deserted forest.

"Isn't this the forbidden church?" Simon asked again, he wasn't clear what exactly they were here for. He preferred to know what was ahead.

However, he didn't get a response from Dominic, but someone else. A woman.

"So eager to see me, aren't you, Cian darling,"

"Damn wizard," Simon swore under his breath. He looked over at Dominic from the corner of his eyes. He didn't look at the woman who walked down the stairs of the building towards them, he didn't want to.

"No, don't give him that look, darling," The woman's sly and coquettish voice came from behind him. She was very fast.

"Where
