Upon hearing this, Koven's face lit up with a spark of inspiration.

“Why didn't you say so earlier? I almost forgot about this.” With that, under Matthew's surprised gaze, he dashed upstairs.

Moments later, he came back down the hallway, holding a small metallic object. He placed it on the table.

“What is this?” Matthew asked curiously.

“You're a CEO, and you don't know what this is? It's a voice recorder,” Koven said, looking at him incredulously. He continued, “When we went to see Alice that day, I brought this along and recorded our entire conversation.”

Matthew's expression turned from confusion to delight, and he beamed with joy. “Fantastic, Koven! You're amazing.”

“With this recording as irrefutable evidence, the king definitely won't doubt you anymore,” Koven said proudly.

“It's fortunate that I brought you along on this trip. You've been a tremendous help,”
