Thorn Trevor's Point of View:

Alexey never watched any of my games yet, even though we went to the same university. She once saw me playing basketball when we were still in grade school. She always told me that she badly wanted to watch my game, but she never watched any of it. I knew that she was restricted by her mom, and maybe that was the reason why. The traffic lights turned red, so I stepped on the break. She was having a chit-chat with Horizon. Normally, when Alexey knew that there was a rumor about me with other girls in the university, she confronted me just to know if the rumor was true. She was a kind of overprotective little sister. She told me that she did not want anyone in the university for me until she met Horizon.

"Do you wanna talk to your brother?" Horizon asked Alexey. I took a glance at her.

"Can I?" I could hear her voice.

"Lex," I uttered.

"Thorn?" She uttered.

"Why are you still

Yzack Tan's Point of View: She looked so beautiful as always. Her long-straight-light-brown hair bounced as she made was heading to where I was standing, her long and curled lashes were clearly seen, her pointed nose crinkled as she laughed, her light pink tweeted coordinate coat and skirt accentuated her fair skin. Her wasp-waist was a bit exposed because of her crop top paired up with her beige chunky boots. She gracefully tucked some strands of her hair behind her ear. She caught me staring at her, she simply waved her hand. And as she smiled, her dimple on the right lower part of her lower lip. A smile automatically etched on my face. "'Sup?" I casually asked her. Her powdery perfume filled the whole place, I could still remember how we first met. Alexey was Thorn younger sister, since Thorn was my best friend I used that advantage to have a reason to be closed to her and to often see her, I never told Thorn, but I think he

Yzack Tan's Point of View: Our family driver parked the BMW Fortuner in the vast parking lot of this prestigious restaurant that was 30 minutes away from home. I saw my grandmother wearing her maroon dress that accentuated her fair skin. She was wearing maroon lipstick and something with the touch of light brown, I was not sure how they call it. As she casually smiled at Tom her wrinkles were exposed at the end of her lash lines signifying her age. I led the way out of the car. She was wrapping her arm around mine. I was wearing a white v-neck underneath my black coat paired up with black ripped jeans since I did not want to look so formal, maybe that was not really my style. I barely checked my wristwatch, wondering why Mom, Dad, and Grandpa were not here yet. As we were making our way to the entrance of this fancy restaurant, I noticed the romantic-low-lighting from

Alexey Laura's Point of View: I turned on the warm white table lamp on my side bed table and put my phone on it. I seated down on my bed then, I let out a heavy sigh to take off what was mind was currently thinking. My room was minimalist, it was painted with neutral paint. I just prefer to have a white painting and light brown wood floors that brought simplicity and calmness around the room. I took off my leather wristwatch and put it under my side table. My gaze was still at the balcony of my room, then, realized to went there just to breathe fresh air. Mom told me that all that I needed for tonight's dinner was all ready, including the dress and shoes that I was about to wear. I did not know why I felt like I was not okay, though I was totally okay. I mean, many people my age wanted the attention and care of their parents, but I had it all. Mom always give me every

Alexey Laura's Point of View: I decide to go to the lady's room. I politely stood up and excused myself. As I came into the lady's room, I could notice the classic designs and structure of it. I touched the sliding door, and it automatically slid, the marble sink with the touch of small and minimalist design gave a cozy vibe to the comfort room. And what caught my eyes was the illusion of the floating light on the mirror on the right corner of the comfort room. That was awe. There was an automatic soap dispenser and hand dryer on the left side. It had very spacious cubicles, I think it can accommodate more than ten girls at the same time. I leaned on the sink and started washing my head. There was a girl I think she had the same age as my mom, she smiled on my reflection in the mirror, I did likewise then, then she headed out of the lady's room. There were two ladies, I think they were a year or two older than me. The one on the right side was wearing a

Horizon Cole's Point of View I never expected that Thorn will help to make me feel at ease. I was admiring the peaceful vibes that this place can bring. I let out a deep sigh before the sounds of the keys while he was dangling the key of his car through his fingers caught my attention, I immediately got it from his hand. It has been a long time since I last drive. I knew how to drive, but I was scared driving on the highway. "Trust me," I uttered, but I could see on his face that he could not trust me in this matter."You know how to drive?" He gave me an inquisitive look. I showed him a smug face. I left him standing outside. I was headed to the driver's seat. He was not convinced that I was able to drive safely. "Hop in, Thorn." He shook his head, half a laugh, while watching how serious I was. As he hopped into the passenger seat, he fastened my seat belt, I laughed, realizing how he valued his life. "Are you

Horizon Cole's Point of View: I was gradually awoken by the warm rays of sunlight filtering into my room, it seemed like a wake-up call. As I barely looked at my blinds that I left as is. I stretched my arms before I finally seated down on my bed. I started my day with a short prayer, expecting a pleasant day. I was still yawning and that made me decide to admire how the sun shone through my windows, I turned off my off-white lamp on the bedside of my table. As I stepped out of my bed, I decided to take a quick shower since I have a class early this morning. And as always, I appreciate the minimalist interior design of my bathroom. I decided to wear a light-green-puff-sleeved dress and a pair of white sneakers. I grab my white shoulder bag, which was enough to accommodate my stuff. I did not usually have my breakfast, though our household's personnel prepared me one. "Miss Horizon, your breakfast is ready." I smiled as I heard the head of our

Horizon Cole's Point of View: As early as I seemed to remember, Mom told me to wear sunblock every day. As I was looking for my sunblock on my vanity table, it made me realize that I must buy some essentials especially this one before it will become out of stock since it was summer for sure it will be in demand in the market. I lay down in my bed, but I seated properly after realizing that my hair was still wet. I was so tired of grabbing my white wireless hair blower on my vanity table, but I stretched my arms to get it anyway. I decided to iron my hair since we will be having a practice game with another department this morning, cause if I curl my hair it may take a long time in preparation. I picked high-waisted jeans and a black-one-shoulder-form-fitting-crop top instead of wearing my usual puff-sleeved dress. I was not sure if I still have an extra shirt in my locker so, I brought one oversized shirt just in case. - While

Horizon Cole's Point of View: I felt someone's presence behind my back, as I could smell his perfume I knew that it was Sage, he came where I was standing and helped me back to the bench. I took a glance at Thorn who was sitting on the bench, his gaze was on me. As I reached him, Sage let me sit. A loud contemporary song played around the volleyball court. "You can go now, we still have a class for Miss Leif, we need to pass out output. I'll see you at the gym later." His gaze remained on me for a moment before he finally stood up. He barely tapped my head before he hissed half a laugh. As Thorn made his way out, I could feel the tension between him and Sage I could notice the eyes of my teammates on us, but I reacted as if nothing happened. Coach Moen came near to me, I did not want to make her feel that she had asked

Horizon Cole's Point of View The only thing that filled the place was the sounds of the raindrops. I was staring at the green grass and let out a deep sigh. Someone seated beside me, I took a side glance at him. A smile etched on his face which was something unusual, I exchanged a smile with him. "Punched Thorn as much as you want." He advised. I laughed a bit. He ran his hand through his hair. We could see Thorn half running, he did not bring an umbrella as usual. "Can I?" He laughed while nodding his head after hearing what I had asked. "Thorn and his Dad are not on good terms now, but something still stressing him out." He took a glance at me. "That night, Thorn was with the whole team. We had fun but believed me that was exclusively for the basketball team. There was no girl there, not even Xaine. Hear him out, you are the only girl that made my friend draw silly hearts on his notes." He uttered half a laugh

Thorn Trevor's Point of View I was staring at the blue ocean, when I was a child every time I looked at the sky, I felt relieved but this time I think it was not working. I run my hand through my face and my hair out of frustration. Horizon might believe the rumor that was circulating on the EAU's official website. That post was from the unknown but, I knew that it was all Xain's plan. Last night, she knocked on my door, crying and begging for me to love her. It was hard for me to see someone in that state, but I could not do what she was asking, I love Horizon, a big-time. So I refused Xaine, but she hugged me tight, I tried to take off her arms and advised her to go back to her room and take a rest. Then, I turned my back against her and went to my room. I just noticed that she came inside, I exasperatedly asked her to go out of my room and nothing happened that nig

Sage Kade's Point of View I saw a man standing at the seashore wearing a hoodie jacket, as I reached him there, I punched him a big time. Thorn bit his lower lip. I let out a deep breath. I should admit that I let out my anger in that punch. "You don't deserve her, man." He looked away as I uttered those words to him. Early in the morning, some of the students in our department were looking at the new post on the EAU's official website for students, there was no faculty member in that group. There was a post from the unknown that clearly showed a picture of Thorn with a girl, I think that was in her department, and a picture of her went to his room last night. I never told Horizon that I was in her game last time, but I heard Thorn confess his feelings for her. God knows how I wanted to grab her hand away from him, but I knew from the very first time that, Horizon was into him as he was to her. The night in beside the seashore, I saw t

Alexey Laura's Point of View Someone knocked on the door, so I made my way to it, though, I was still wearing my bathrobe. I saw a girl wearing her plain white shirt and high-waisted jeans. I opened the door to let her come in. "Miss Alexey, about what happened last time." I smiled since I knew that she was talking about the night when mom knew everything. "It's fine. Don't think too much about that. To be honest, I wanted to say thank you for helping me. I knew that it was hard for you since it may affect your scholarship and of course your Mom." I smiled back at myself. "You are the only person that called me friend, so I felt like I was a normal college student, even just for now." I held her hand. "I will always be your friend, and if you need anything you can come to me so that I could bring back your kindness to me, okay?" A smile immediately etched on her face while slightly nodding her head. -

Yzack Tan's Point of View I tried to search and browse on the internet what was the best gift to a girl. Alexey was celebrating her birthday today. We were about to attend the intimate dinner celebration tonight. To be honest, I was thinking if it was being the perfect timing to tell everything to Thorn. He knew that I had my date later, but he was still not aware that I will be at her sister's birthday celebration. I looked at the necklace in the box that I bought the other day, but I was still not sure if she will like it. I let out a deep sigh. "Son," my head was automatically turned to my door that was varnished by dark brown when I heard someone knock on it. I saw my Dad wearing his light blue polo shirt, he looked so formal as always. "'sup?" He asked while seating right next to me. A smile etched on my face. "Do you like her, don't you?" He casually asked. I barely nodded my head as a response. "We knew e

Horizon Cole's Point of View: I was able to see the infinite blue sky from here as the bus stopped, I could hear the scream of many students who were excited to feel the fresh air and the cool water of the beach plus the astounding sunset. I could notice some students that were already there. A girl with short-wavy hair wearing a knitted-mini skirt and off-shoulder top wrapped her arm to Thorn's. I felt his eyes on me, but I tried to act as usual. I saw Jaim having fun with some of our teammates. It was not that I tried to void them, I just noticed that whenever I was with them, Jaim was avoiding even our teammates, maybe she thought that I shared the reason why we're not in good condition. I was not able to hear what Thorn was telling to Xaine, but one thing was for sure, he was irritated. I noticed Xaine's eyes were on me. She was distorted with rage as she made her

Horizon Cole's Point of View: "About him..." Sage uttered. I took a glance at him, his elbow was leaning on the window of his car and he rubbed his lower lip. His gaze was on the way. "What about him?" I asked since I knew that he was talking about Thorn. He took a glance at me, then looked seriously on the way. I was still waiting for what he was about to say, but he bit his lips and shook his head. I knew that he wanted to ask something. "You can ask anything, bro," I uttered casually. A smile etched on his face. I noticed something on him earlier. I was not sure if he was not comfortable or what. "Don't tell me, you are scared that I can find a new friend that will treat me every day?" A smile etched on his face and l

  • You've Talked a Lot   Chapter 33

Thorn Trevor's Point of View A group of varsity players from other universities was here. And as I noticed, one of the players from SVU was staring at Horizon, which irritated me. He maybe looked familiar to her since they accidentally met last week at the mall. We already knew each other since we already met at the court and our university won, and that was exactly the reason why they badly wanted to win the game this time, but that was not easy for them since they were about to be our opponents for our first game. "What a small world." He uttered with a smile was on his face. I clenched my jaw. I felt Horizon's eyes on me, but I could not manage to check on her. I just wanted to punch the face of this asshol*. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, do you have your game here?" Hori

  • You've Talked a Lot   Chapter 32

Horizon Cole's Point of View There were lots of preparation happened in the university since today was the first day of the intramural week, supposedly we had a meeting with our History professor, but she canceled it beforehand which was good 'cause, up until now I had a headache in some of our requirements in some other courses. I sighed as I saw Jaim leaning on the desk next to my assigned seat. It was not easy for her as well, but yesterday, I saw her with Tim as if they were having a quarrel. Maybe they were still having communication, I did not put too much attention to things that will only cause stress. I had a lot of things in mind and I could not manage to get involved in her life decisions. "Horizon," My head was automatically turned in the direction when I heard a voice from someone. I saw a girl wearing a t
