Chapter 90: Prisoners

Sofia was disappointed, the rude and cold girl she boasted of being, had hidden in the recesses of her mind, not being able to face this and in her place, the little girl that her brother protected when her father beat her mother had appeared.

She longed to be protected, longed for her mother or brother, to hold her and protect her from her father. But, neither of them were around and even if they were, there would only be more people to hurt.

A thud, caused him to lift his abode off the ground, that's when he saw Esteban grabbing the man who had recently thrown the food at him by the neck. He noticed how Esteban was looking at him angrily, but it wasn't enough to believe that he would be on his side. After all, he had been the one who had brought her there.

"Who told you that you were supposed to throw food at her!" yells Esteban angrily.
