"Ariyah, where on earth are  you running to? For the love of God, wait up!" Grace continued to chant from behind me. It was disturbing how she wouldn't give up. How could Luke have been so careless  to let such vital information escape his mind?

"Out of my way!" I pushed aside an innocent redhead taking a selfie and doing the peace sign.

"Sorry." I stopped to see if she would get up fine. She was on her feet once more when Grace tossed her aside again.

I had less than a minute left by now. Panting, I rushed into a train of people dancing to the rhythm on the dance floor and lay flat on the floor. They were all so distracted by the way they moved so swiftly to even notice me.

"Ten...nine…" I began to count under my breath, noticing how Grace's feet stopped, she must have been wondering where I was.

"Come on hurry up." I called under my breath, the fear of being caught getting to me. I closed my eyes as she began to walk closer by the second.

My hand was gone from sight, I noticed. I was invisible, it worked and she didn't find me.

I began to crawl, causing commotion amid the feet of lost dancers. They could not find the obstruction knocking into them with every passing moment.

I refused to stand up. It would be suspicious to mere eyes to find a floating phone.

I needed a temporary way to get rid of my phone so I could be comfortable whilst being invisible.

This was not okay.

I had lost track of Grace by now. I lay low on the floor hoping none of the girls would walk into me.

I speed dialed Luke and awaited his response.

"I assume you are invisible now." He chuckled. I had no idea what part of this was enticing to him.

"It's not even funny. How do I get rid of my phone? It's not invisible." I snapped at him, trying not to be heard by the people around me.

"Do you have a pocket?" He raised his suggestion.

"I do." I responded.

"Slip it in." He simply put.

"Are you sure this isn't permanent?" I let my fear question on my behalf.

"Don't worry, it's not." He sounded assuring. "This is exactly what I meant when I said the almadate needs a lot of work."

"I'll talk to you later, worry about that some other time." I rolled my eyes, angered by the situation he had put me in. Who knew how Grace was feeling about all this.

"Okay." He agreed, "sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused y-" he tried to apologize. I cut him off, rudely hanging up and slipping my phone into my jean pocket. I made sure every part of the phone was invisible, then getting up to my feet.

I had to walk flexibly to avoid knocking into random people.

I tried to find Grace. I wanted to know what her physical reaction was to my sudden disappearance.

"Let's stir this party up people!" One of the organizers yelled into a microphone. Most of the people present had to be within the age bracket of sixteen to twenty.

That earned cheers from the mild crowd. "Grab a partner and rock your asses to the damn music!" She announced, stirring cheers. I hadn't gone out in one month hence had no idea how many people lived their lives normally.

That erupted a disruptive commotion. The girls scrambled around, swaying their butts to the song that had grown louder by the minute. I pressed my palms against my ears and through gritted teeth, groaned in discomfort.

I had to get out of here. I trailed towards the room Grace had taken me to previously.

She must have given up on the search for me because I spotted her walking in the same direction. Thank God.

I pressed myself against the wall and sat on the floor, waiting for twenty minutes to be over. Even if she demanded an explanation from me, I wouldn't tell her. At least, that wouldn't kill me.

I checked the time on my phone, I had three minutes left. I stood to my feet, considering it strange that she hadn't even come out of the room since she went in.

The door was opened and so I walked in. I stopped frozen to the ground when I saw Grace.

She was seated on the counter with the last of her friends, standing front of her. The silent one that I had adored.

Both girls were completely naked from neck to waist.

The girl whose name I had no knowledge of, leaned forward and planted a kiss on Grace's lips. Grace, on the other hand, had her arms around this girl's neck.

I shook my head in disbelief.

After a minute, they pulled away from each other. "Thank God she left. I was so disappointed that you introduced her to the girls as your girlfriend." Her voice was beautiful. I would have appreciated it if I wasn't in tears at the moment.

"Well, she is my girlfriend but I love only you." Grace giggled. I waited for her to cough, but she didn't.

Tears slipped down my cheeks from the horror in front of me.

I felt some parts of me slowly become visible. It was fidgeting, going visible then invisible again.

That caught their attention. They both stared at me with interest and before time, I was fully visible again.

"Wherever did you come from?" The girlfriend thief commented with widened eyes.

"Ariyah!" Grace jumped off the counter. She rushed to my side, ignoring how her breasts bounced along with.

She came to hold me at arms length. "How did you get here?" She panicked, breathing heavily.

I slapped her hands off of me. "How could you even?" I shook my head in disbelief.

"I can explain." She attempted to speak, stuttering as she tried to find the right words to say.

"None of what you saw was voluntary. Blakee forced me to do this!" She pointed an accusing finger at the girl who had done nothing but stare  all along.

My eyes wandered off to Blakee with a disgusted frown. How could she have?

I was ready to give her a piece of my mind when all of a sudden Grace began to cough.

My eyes grew wide in shock and I hurried to hold her. "Grace!" She didn't cease the cough. Instead, they grew louder. As soon as I noticed the fluid drip out of the corners of her mouth, I held her in for a tight hug. "No!" I sobbed.

"Please don't leave me!" I cried. She fell to her knees regardless of my pleas. "I'm sorry please stay. Why did you lie? Why?!" Blakee rushed to our side to help but I stopped her with a stretched arm. "Don't even try it."

I hugged Grace to my chest, she was trying her best to stay with me. I could sense it.

She was breathing heavily, trying to reach for me. I squeezed her hands tight, wailing on the top of my lungs.

One last breath in, and she was gone.
