- The next morning -
The old mansion: Trey finished his breakfast and left for work. On the way to the office, his cell phone started ringing; he checked the caller ID to see Valerieâs name, and a tender smile graced his lips. âValerie, what's wrong?â He asked. âIâve missed you; I want to see you,â Valerie said in her sweet, gentle voice. Trey smiled and told her heâd come and pick her up in half an hour. He asked his driver to change routes to Valerieâs apartment. After ending the call, he called his private secretary and canceled all his appointments till the afternoon and asked her to book a suite at the LEISUREQ hotel and send him the details. 30 minutes later, his car was parked inside the parking lot of Valerieâs apartment. In a few minutes, she came walking out of the elevator. Treyâs bodyguard opened the car for her. âThank you,â Valerie said, entering the car. Trey scowled angrily. âWhat happened?â Valerie asked, noticing Treyâs expression. "Nothing,â he answered dismissively, making a mental note to teach that bodyguard a lesson for smiling and admiring his girlfriend. The car stops at the Leisureq hotel underground parking lot within 30 minutes later. Leisureq Hotel is one of the many hotels owned by Trey. But he decided on a regular suite today to avoid news spreading of him taking a mistress to his penthouse. Yeah, as much as it angered him, he couldnât deny the fact that his grandfather, parents, and everyone in Pearl City knew of his marriage. Trey helps Valerie out, and they walk into the hotel through the private door into the lobby. As they were halfway to the elevator, Valerie tripped. Trey quickly caught her, and with a hand around her waist, he helped her to the elevator as they both smiled at each other. When the elevator door closed, he immediately carried Valerie in a bridal style. On reaching their suite, he headed straight to the bedroom and sat her on the bed. It had been a week since they last saw each other; he was dying to taste her lips. But he has to attend to her sprained ankle first. He stood up to go and get an ointment to apply to her ankle after he massaged it, but Valerie held onto his hand, stopping him. âI want you, Trey. I want you to make love to me, please. Weâve been dating for 4 years now. Why wonât you make love to me? Don't you love me?â Valerie asked with despair visible in her eyes. Trey watched as Valerie kept biting her lower lip; he had to stop himself from reaching out to pull her lip out of her teeth. âI love you very much, Valerie.â He lowered his head to her, then took her lips in his as they shared a passionate kiss. He pushed her gently onto the bed. âI need you, Valerie.â He murmured into her mouth as his hand cupped her breast, kneading it, while his other hand caressed her hips, moving down towards her thigh, but halted abruptly when he heard Lisaâs frail voice. He hurriedly sat up. âWhat the fuck was she doing here? He didnât want her to know he was still with Valerie yet. He wanted to divorce her before coming to light about their relationship.â Everything unfolds so quickly that Lisa slaps him, which he weirdly finds amusing. But then she laid her hand on Valerie; even though he had promised Valerie to never hurt her cousin when they were little, he couldnât watch Lisa hurt his love again; he didnât mind when she slapped him, but Valerie, he couldnât just let it slide; before he knew it, he slapped her out of reflex. But this foolish and breathtaking woman just wouldnât stop and slapped his woman once again. He has to teach her not to mess with him. So he ended up pushing her aside, and his heart painfully ached; both times he laid his hand on Lisa but feigned nonchalance. When he could no longer stand the intense pang her tears were causing his heart, he decided to leave, or he would go crazy. So he walked away with Valerie. He took Valerie back to her apartment and apologized to her about what happened with Lisa. âDonât worry about what happened; Iâve already given her the divorce papers to sign. Soon I will be waking up to your beautiful face every morning.â He said and kissed her passionately. âI love you,â Valerie sweetly said. âI love you..." Trey replied; she smiled and got out of the car, walking towards the elevator. She turned and waved at Trey sweetly. Trey smiled back at her, then turned ahead and straightened up in the seat, fitting his suit. âTo the office,â Trey said, his tone back to its usual coldness. âYes, sir.â -/GOLDEN HEIGHTS CORPORATION/- Trey stared at his laptop as his secretary, Lucy, explained the presentation for a project to him. But the sound of his phone ringing interrupted him. âBreak for lunch,â he said, dismissing her. âThank you, sir,â Lucy said, walking out of the office. âNathan? What do you want?â He said the moment he connected the call. âI donât only call you when I need help, dude.â Nathan chuckled. âOkay, so why did you call?â Trey questioned. âLet's have lunch; I already invited Kelvin,â Nathan said. "Okay. Let's meet at the Trixmax in 15 minutes then.â Trey said, hanging up the call. Trixmax is his favorite restaurant; their menu has the best foods. He used to take Lisa but stopped when he and Valerie made up. He arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later. He instructed his men to stand back and went in. Trey is a fierce man who can take down 20 men at a time; he doesnât need his bodyguards following him wherever he goes, but his grandfather declined his decision. âYou donât know when an enemy will attack.â Heâll say. Trey joined his friends at their table. They ordered, and the food and wine were delivered. They ate and talked about business strategies, stock prices, investments, and projects they should invest in. Just then he heard, âLisa...?â His friend Nathan called. He paused and listened, in case his earring was wrong. âNathan...â He heard her voice speak; sheâs indeed here. Trey smiled, stunned by his own emotions. But his mood changed when he heard her say. âIf I knew it was you guys, I would not have approached.â âThat phrase. How dare she say that?â he thought angrily. Lisa belongs to him, so long as heâs still her husband. He stared at her angrily. He retained his anger and focused on their conversation. But when Lisa said, âThere are situations she would rather avoid,â and she was glad to see Kelvin and Nathan but not him!? He knew her words were meant for him, and yes, it did hurt him. So he retorted back to make her know just how her words hurt him. Even though she was looking awesomely tempting right now. âYou have 5 days left to sign the papers and...â âIâve already signed it, and I marked out the alimony. I donât need your money, Trey. I married you not because of your money,â she sighed. âI married you because I love you.â âI donât love you, Lisa." He said it to spite her, but her immediate answer made his heart skip a beat. âSame here; I used to love you, but I donât anymore; all I feel for you is pure hatred, nothing else.â When she said that with her tiny mouth, it took every fiber in Trey to not stand up and carry her home and fuck her till she could not walk the next morning. âWhat the heck is wrong with him? Is he regretting letting her go? He hates Lisa. Itâs Valerie he loves. He should be happy; he's finally rid himself of Lisa.â He thought. âTrey⊠Does that mean you guys are divorced? She already signed it?â Kelvin asked. âAnd you were a witness,â Trey answered sarcastically. His heart was on the verge of bursting out of his chest. âDude, Why didnât you talk to us about it? You sure you want to let her go? Lisa is a one in a million; if you lose her, it would be hard to find someone like her.â Nathan adviced âYeah, you better think twice before letting go of such a woman, like Lisa,â Kelvin added. Already, Trey was contemplating whether to run after Lisa or let her go. âFuck!â He cursed hoarsely as realization dawned on him. As much as he hated Lisa, his body always had a strong reaction to her; he could make love with her, unlike Valerie, and even though he always denied it, he always enjoyed every fucking moment, a strange nostalgia he found weird. Letting Lisa go would mean him going back to his old ways, one he quit when he had intimacy with Lisa. But listening to his confidants now, he was sure he wants Lisa in his life; fuck all revenge. He quickly stood up and ran out of the restaurant. His bodyguards at the door, upon noticing their boss, became alert. "Boss,â they said in unison, staring at their boss in confusion. âWhere is she?!â He growled, looking around the parking lot. âWhereâs Lisa!!?â âSir? Madam left a few minutes ago. She also left home early at dawn with her bags for her old apartment.â Brad explained. âWhy didnât you fucking stop her!!?â Trey barked. âSir...? You... asked her to leave,â Brad said, dumbfounded by his boss's question. Trey passes his hand roughly through his hair and instructed. âGo bring her back home, and do it right this instant!â Trey roared in a domineering tone, making Brad and his colleagues shiver. After that, he strode to his car, entered the driverâs seat, and sped off, ignoring the calls of his friends, driver, and bodyguards.-/Country B/- Three weeks later. After standing on her feet for the last 6 hours operating on a patient with a brain tumor, Lisa walked out of the operating room, feeling exhausted and famished. She disposed of her blood-stained gloves and mask into the red infectious bin, then turned to leave. âYou were amazing in there, Dr. Lynn; the surgery was successful.â Susan, her assistant nurse, said coming out of the operating room. "Thanks; you were a good help. But I donât consider a surgery successful till my patient wakes up.â Lisa said with a smile. âThank you, Dr. Lynn,â Susan said. âYouâre welcome; call me Lisa; Dr. Lynn makes me feel older; Iâm only 21,â Lisa said. âI will, Lisa." Susan said, and they both laughed. âOur shift ended 2 hours ago, so I will leave first; see you tomorrow,â Susan added with a wave as she walked away. Lisa waved back with âSure.â Lisa walked to her private office and showered. When coming out of the bathroom, she suddenly felt dizzy. She suppor
Lisa decided to leave work early to go home and check on her patient, who still hasnât regained consciousness. She said goodbye to nurse Susan and went down to the lobby to sign out. After signing out, she went to the parking lot for her car and left the hospital. When she arrived at her apartmentâs underground parking lot, she noticed 4 black Alligator SUVs. She felt there was something suspicious and strange about it; nonetheless, she put it at the back of her mind and walked towards the lobby. âGood afternoon,â Lisa greeted the elevator attendant the moment she entered the elevator. âGood afternoon, Miss Lynn,â he responded as he pressed the floor number. The elevator closed and started to ascend. As the elevator ascended, Lisa noticed the elevator attendant kept stealing glances at her as if he wanted to say something but was hesitant about it. However, since he was not able to tell her whatever it was, she wouldnât inquire about it. When the elevator arrived at the fifth floor, s
-/Country A/- Golden Heights Corporation Meanwhile, in an office on the hundredth floor of Golden Heights Corporation, Trey Collins stares blankly at the vast ocean view through the glass wall of his enormous office. With a fierce look on his face, if thereâs one thing that riled him, itâs when things donât go his way. He turns around to face his three highly skilled, efficient detectives, who were able to retrieve a needle when dropped into the vast sea but were standing in front of him, repeating the same bullshit. Baam!! The three men gazed up nervously, then hastily retracted their gazes down, feeling weak in the leg at the sound of a hand slammed on the desk in front of them. âIt's been 3 weeks, 3 fucking weeks, and youâre fucking telling me you havenât found her? Why the hell do I pay you when you canât even find a single womanâs whereabouts!? Huh!!â Trey asked sternly, his expression darkening into a venomous glare. âYou have a week to find out wherever sheâs hiding, or
âI want to show you something,â Don Antonio said as he took steady steps towards Lisa, deliberately not to frighten her more than she already was. Considering Lisaâs silence and calm demeanor as an indication to proceed, he started to unbutton his shirt. As he undid the buttons, his eyes remained fixed on Lisaâs face, ready to stop if there was a slight form of uneasiness from her. Since there werenât any, he opened it to show her his bandaged chest. âDid you do this?â He asked in a gentle tone. âOh my God!" Lisa uttered as her hand flew to her mouth as realization dawned on her, then she frowned. âIt was you; no wonder I thought you looked familiar, you bastard!!â Lisa yelled angrily. Matteo and Timothy, who were standing outside the door, heard Lisa calling the boss a bastard, and they started to feel pity for her for offending the boss. Now there was no way she could escape the bossâs wrath. âYou pointed a gun at a person who saved your life!? I knew I should have left you t
âIs she alright?â Don Antonio asked Susan, who had just walked out of Lisaâs room. "Yeah... she has fallen asleep,â Susan muttered. She approached the sofa to sit but became hesitant. She heard that Don has a disorder; he doesnât like women around him, not to mention touch him, and it got her wondering how he was able to carry Lisa earlier. She remained standing in front of the sofa as she fidgeted with her fingers. Antonio, who was replying to a message on his phone, realized the space beside him was still empty, then looked up at the woman who was standing still with an expression he couldnât decipher. âWhy is she standing?' He thought Susan was approaching to sit, but it had been a few minutes now, and he didnât feel the sofa dip, and since he was busy with his phone, he just remembered she wasnât seated beside him. He looked up at Susan. âAre you going to stand there forever?â He questioned. âI⊠um, umm, youâre sick.â She replied, staring down at her feet, still playing
This chapter contains scenes of violence, sexual content, and torture. Please skip it if it makes you uncomfortable; it does not contain any major plot. *** The moment Don Antonio sat in the back of his car at Lisaâs apartment underground parking lot, all traces of the man from earlier disappeared, being replaced with a stern, fierce-looking man. âGo to the base.â The intensity of his voice causes the temperature inside the car to drop abruptly. Matteo, who was sitting in the passengerâs seat, shivered. As his bossâs personal bodyguard, he has noticed the change in his bossâs aura. âYes, boss.â Marco, his driver, replied. ~~~ About an hour later, the line of cars stopped in front of a high-end club casino hotel in the central part of country B. Matteo got down and immediately opened the door for his boss. Don Antonio walked with long strides into the building, followed by a few of his men, while the others remained on guard at the entrance with the many bodyguards who were
Back in Lisaâs apartment, Susan, after checking up on Lisa in her bedroom, decided to prepare some food and tidy up the kitchen and living room to beat time since she had nothing to do but sit idly around feeling bored. After about an hour and a half later, Susan was done with cleaning. She proceeded to the kitchen to begin cooking. She started by chopping the vegetables, then blended some onions, garlic, ginger, and tomatoes, then placed the saucepan on the stove and poured some oil. Just when she was about to add the blended onions, garlic, and ginger, the doorbell rang. She turned the knob on the stove off, but since she was in a hurry, she turned the knob downwards instead. She went to the door to check who it was. âHello, how may I help you?â Susan asked the delivery man standing outside the door, holding a bouquet of white lilies. âIs this Miss Lynnâs apartment?â The delivery guy asked, and Susan nodded. âOkay, please sign here.â The delivery man said, handing the bouque
When Don Antonio stepped out of the elevator on the fourth floor, he saw his consigliere already seated inside his office. He smirked. âWelcome back,â his consigliere said, spreading out his arms wide to welcome Antonio with a hug. They embraced each other as Lucas said, âI thought weâd lost you, man.â He patted Antonio on the back as they broke the hug. Antonio walked to the other side of the desk, taking a seat on his black high-back swivel chair. âI have to meet this woman who saved your life. We're in debt to her. I really canât explain how delighted I was when you called me to send some men over and a change of clothes. I wanted to come personally, but we had a situation in the cells,â Lucas said. Don Antonio leaned back against his seat, looking as if he were deep in thought. âWere they Faustoâs men?â Antonio asked. âTheyâve refused to speak,â Lucas said, taking a deep breath. Antonio nodded. âWhat about the information I asked you to get?â Lucas nodded, taking a seat on
Luis' brown eyes darkened the moment they fixed on the flimsy red lacy panties Michelle was wearing. His body tightened with desire. She's wearing it for a man but not for him. âNo! Luis, please, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you! Don't do thisâŠ!â Michelle cried, struggling to break free, but Luis firmly held her down, with her hands on her back. She felt a tug, and she didn't need to be told her panties had been ripped off. Tears fell down Michelle's face as she stopped struggling. There was no point in struggling when Luis was intent on having his way. Luis was buckling his belt but stopped when Michelle stopped struggling. Conflicting thoughts raced through his mind as he tried to understand why Michelle stopped fighting him. But as usual, all his thoughts were condemning. One with Michelle thinking less of him. âAhh!â Michelle cried when Luis thrust two fingers into her without warning. More tears fell down Michelle's face, but this time, it wasn't sad tears. It was someth
âStop, please stop!â The moment Michelle spoke those words, combined with the obvious trembling of her body, all of Luis' rationality disappeared. âMichelle didn't want him to touch her. Did she feel disgusted by his touch?â Luis' thoughts raced. âHow? Why? What wrong did he do to her to receive such cold treatment from her? Since he was little, he witnessed his parents' love and affection towards each other, and every time, there was only one face, one girl with captivating big green eyes that he pictured that life with, Michelle. But she never felt the same! Such a ruthless woman! Didn't she have a heart?!â âWhat? You don't want me to touch you?! Is it because of your dear husband? Is he better than me?!â Luis growled as he angrily spun Michelle around so she was facing him. She looked at his face with tears in her innocent eyes, a dumbfounded expression on her face as if he had just accused her of the unthinkable. 'Who is she trying to deceive with that look? Him?' Luis smir
Two pairs of piercing eyes stared back at each other; the man's eyes were fierce and dark, while the woman's were moist and reddened. Their stares were so intense, as if they were under a spell and neither of them could look away, as if being pulled in by a powerful magnetic force. Just then, the man's eyebrows curved, and that snapped the woman back to her senses. Like a deer being chased by a leopard, Michelle turned and ran away at an abnormal speed. âMichelleâŠ?â Luis breathed, "Michelle changed her hair color?â he muttered with a dumbfounded expression on his face. Realizing he was letting Michelle get away, Luis cursed throatily as he got to his feet and chased after her. âFuck, I have to find her!â Feeling flustered, Michelle, who was desperate to get away from Luis, ran to the restroom to hide; however, in her desperation, she ran into the men's room unaware. Luis saw her enter the male washroom and frowned as he began to walk over. âBoss? What happened?â Luis' personal b
âAre you better now? There's somewhere I need to be right this instance; get out,â Octavio said flatly. Clara, shocked by Octavio's words, gasped as she turned to look at his face with a disbelief expression. What hurt her most was how Octavio stared back at her with an expressionless face. Clara's heart shook violently from the pain, and she abruptly got up as if being chased by a group of thugs. She reached for the door with a shaky hand, but it was locked, yet she didn't ask Octavio to open it for her. There was a click, and she tried again; the door opened, and she hurriedly got out, tightly holding his suit around her body protectively. However, Clara's legs gave out under her the moment she stepped out of the car. She was about to fall when two strong hands caught her steady. She looked up and was met with Marco's bloodshot eyes, and more tears began to fall down her face. âMarco, please help me out ofâŠâ Clara didn't finish speaking when Marco carried her in his arms. She bu
After the topic regarding the necklace, Octavio took Clara to a 5-star restaurant, and they ate. During the meal, he kept looking at Clara every now and then, making her feel giddy with all sorts of emotions.Clara could feel the butterflies fluttering in her stomach, making her smile shyly as she sneaked glances at Octavio's handsome face.âIs my princess shy?â Octavio asked with a hint of playfulness in his voice. Clara, who was caught, immediately denied shaking her head eagerly, her already tinted cheeks turning more crimson.âNo!â Clara stated firmly.âReally, then why do you keep avoiding my gaze?â Octavio asserted.âNo, I didn'tâŠ!â Clara exclaimed, and due to her nervousness, her voice came out slightly raised.âHey, princess,â Octavio said, placing a hand on Clara hand on top of the table and squeezing it gently as he muttered in a soothing manner,âCalm down; I understand it if you're uncomfortable. I wait till you're ready to take that step forward. I love you, princess, and
The meeting went on with an intense atmosphere that a knife could slice through as shivers trickled down the spine of everyone seated in the conference room; beads of cold sweat formed on their foreheads as they watched the silent but loud glaring battle that seemed to be ongoing between Luis and Alan, the two greek god-like men in the room, each time their fierce gaze met. ~~~ The meeting ended successfully, and the partnership was formed. The two men had no option but to sign the partnership, as each of their fathers had formed this alliance years ago, but it had always been verbal, and now they had signed it. As Luis watched Alan and his staff walk away, he felt the strong urge to kill; he wanted to vent out the rage he had been holding in since the three hours he laid his eyes on Alan. He wanted to go to the base and use some of the captives as punching bags, but he knew inwardly that wouldn't help, judging by the huge bump in his pants. The moment he saw Alan, all he could thi
~ One month later ~ Alan looked at the hesitant expression on Michelle's face and questioned with his eyes narrowed suspiciously, âMichelle? I would have believed you if you had just told me you didn't want to come to the meeting with me.â He realized her behavior had been strange since the previous day. âWhat? Alan, how can you say that?â Michelle said with a disbelief expression. However, after three years of living together, Alan could tell Michelle was hiding something. âMichelle?â he said in a firm voice. âOkay, fine, I didn't want to tell you this, but um, your birthday is in a month,â Michelle began as she thought of what to say. âSo⊠I had made some special arrangements with⊠Ann, Annalisa. Yes, I requested a custom-made suit. She wants me to come with your measurements today,â Michelle explained as she looked at Alan's face from the corner of her eye to see if he was buying her new excuse. âYou believe me, right?â she asked, because she herself wasn't sure what she was
Michelle still reported to work even after Alan asked her not to. It was lunchtime, and Mitchell was asleep, so she decided to go and get lunch since she didn't eat breakfast. ~ Twenty minutes later, Michelle returned to her office. But her heart skipped a beat when she didn't find Mitchell in his bed. âMitchellâŠ?â She muttered in a panicked voice as she turned and headed out. Michelle searched all the small office cubicles on the floor and the studio where a photoshoot was ongoing, but she couldn't find him. Michelle started to panic when she realized she hadn't checked Alan's office. She knew Mitchell couldn't open Alan's office door on his own, but maybe he went there to look for Alan? She thought as she ran toward his office. The moment Michelle turned the corner to Alan's office, a wave of relief washed over her when she saw Mitchell on Alan's lap. She composed herself and approached the door and knocked. Alan and Mitchell turned their heads to the door at the sou
In a mansion located on the outskirts of town, the sound of a crying child filled the dining room, and a man dressed in a three-piece suit held the boy in his arms as he tried to calm the crying child. âMichelle?!â Alan called out. âIâm almost done!â Michelle cried from the kitchen. âHear that, champion? Your mummy is almost finished with your breakfastâŠâ Mitchell, at Alanâs voice, stopped crying, looking at Alanâs face, but continued to cry the moment Alan stopped talking. âHere, give him to me!â Michelle said, urgency lacing her voice as she placed the purĂ©e she had prepared on the table. She sat down and stretched out her hands to Alan. Alan handed Mitchell to her as she started feeding him. âSo are you bringing him to work?â Alan asked. âYesâŠ!â Michelle answered briefly. âBut you havenât done that before?â Alan raised a question at Michelle's answer. âI know, thatâs why heâs staying with you,â Michelle clarified, and Alan demanded, âMe?â âYes, you.â Alan, at Michelle's
