Guillermo froze, feeling the air escaping from him. Natalia's threat echoed in his mind, and the thought of losing Laura terrified him.

—You've gone too far, Natalia. I never thought you'd be capable of cornering me like this.

—And I never thought you were going to trade me for that insignificant little woman, and I want you to be clear that I will never allow that.
