You didn't wake up when Davide returned to the room later that night and placed your daughter next to you.

'It is her feeding time,' Davide startled awake when the wetnurse mind links him.

'Come in,' he mind link her back and sat up.

''Feed her and don't bring her back,'' Davide said in a soft tone to not wake you up.

Your eyes fling open when the wet nurse shut the door behind her.

You can smell a baby and know it is your daughter. You leap towards the door, not realizing that Davide is in bed with you.

You sink to the ground against the door, crying.

Sparks flow through you when a warm hand touches yours. You open your eyes and meet Davide's. You charge him and find yourself on top of him, slamming your fist against his chest as silent tears fell.

When your body no longer had the strength you fell onto his chest.
