Chapter 21

“Max, no don't." I try to hold him back but he makes sure to land a few punches in.

“Maxwell stop please." I cry out.

“Don't you ever put your hands on her ever again." Max drags me from the room and to his own.

“Max calm down." I try to ease his anger.

“How could he do that to you." His pants out.

“He's my father, how could he do something so disgusting.” He says breathing heavily.

" I'm so sorry, Ana, I'm really sorry.” Max hugs me to his body tightly. I am still reeling from the shock of

what just happened but what Max feels is also deep. Max is in pain knowing what his father can be

capable of.

He cuddles me in his bed and we both fall asleep.
