Chapter 3

After some time she saw his hands had stopped working and she knew he was coming out so she pulled her eyes away from him. At least she got a sneak peek on him while he was working. She closed her eyes and sat there, her heart beating faster than usual.

“Miss Jones.” He said it very softly.

She ignored him, as she did not want to let him know that she wasn’t sleeping. And what kind of thoughts she was having about him a while ago.

She heard him chuckle, then she could feel his breath near her. The car window was opened so she could feel his breathing. She clenched her fist trying to control her emotions.

“Hey, sleeping beauty wake up.” He said huskily.

After a few seconds, she opened her eyes slowly and looked at him and for a moment she kept staring at him not knowing what had gotten inside her as she could see that his eyebrows were well shaped and his mouth was looking so tempting as he smiled at her. He was definitely one of the most handsome guys she had ever laid eyes on.

“Like what you see?” He asked mockingly.

Her hands automatically pushed him away as she was leaning on the car window and tried to get out of the car.

“I've changed your tyre and could you give me a tissue or something to wipe my hands? It’s all dirty.” He said flatly.

“I think there might be some wet tissues in the car just wait a second.” She said and walked towards her car.

Isabella took a packet of wet tissues and turned around to give it to him only to realize that Adam Black was standing right behind her. She tried to make some space in between them while she handed him the tissue. He accepted it with a thoughtful expression and a glint of amusement in his eyes. He wiped his hands in silence but his eyes never left her face.

Isabella gulped her saliva nervously.

“Now about my reward?” He said softly after throwing the tissue away. He had moved closer to her and now she was leaning against the door and he had already placed his hand on both sides of the car door. There was no escape from her. 

He pulled her roughly into his arms. He cut off the beginnings of her protest, as she opened her mouth by covering her lips with his own hard mouth and kissed her.

Isabella had certainly been kissed before. She had known her share of masculine mouths, their hard warmth, their persuasive touch.  She’d open to them, dared to taste them in turn, and she’d always been able to keep her wits about her, to think kissing is interesting, but no big deal.

All of a sudden with Adam’s mouth on hers, it became a big deal indeed.

There was warmth and persuasion. But there was more hunger, need which was beyond words.

And she became addicted to it and gradually let go, as she realized that it was fire, burning hot and fast in full flame inside her body. And the deeper the kisses, the less the fire was quenched. It raged and consumed, hunger and desperate needs and it was going out of control.

His arms came around her, slid up her back, drew her closer, so that their bodies leaned, touched, pressed. She had never felt like this, had never wanted the kiss to go on. She had never kissed with carving.

Just then, they hear a car honking at them and Isabella pushed him away with force, realizing where they were. Her face had turned red with embarrassment when she saw the driver grinning at them meaningfully.

"Get a room you guys, you are distracting others." He shouted and drove past them.

But Adam stared down into her eyes, his own body filled with arousal, his breathing harsh and there was some kind of emotion in his eyes for a second but it was gone.

“Well, the reward wasn’t that bad.” He said with a smirk on his face. “For the time being, I will be satisfied with it until the net time.”

“Adam Black, you are crazy!  Don’t ever do that again.” She ended furiously.

Adam smiled. “You look like a very sexy kitten, hissing and challenging me.” He told her. “And you annoy me with your eyes  every time I meet you, with those challenging eyes as if they are telling you don’t mess up with me.” He ignored her when she tried to repute back and said. “Well, sooner or later you are going to be in my arms and begging me Isabella.”

Isabella was shocked and she stared at him furiously and tried to sink in the declaration he had just made.

“What do you mean by that?”

“Honey don't try to act naïve, I want you. Aren’t you happy? You were trying to get my attention for a long time and here I am giving myself to you. Since the day I walked into your office, you have been giving me many signals and now I am just playing along. Didn't you enjoy it?”

You are so narcissistic.” She threw the words at him letting him see how she felt. “Me interested in you, In your dreams Adam Black.”

She turned abruptly and opening the door of her car, she got inside slamming the door forcefully but she could feel the amusement on his face. She wanted to slap his face but it was impossible because she knew if she did anything stupid then she would have to bear the consequences and she was all alone with him at the place but the main thing being that he had repaired her car.

She started her car and drove away from there as fast as she could.

Adam on the other hand was smiling with satisfaction and was thoughtful for a while watching her car drive away.

“Isabella Jones, you want to play games with me. Alright, let’s do it.” He said softly and after getting inside the car he raced after her.
