His brows squeezed at my sudden retraction.

“What’s-“ the knock on the door banged harder to interrupt whatever he was about to say. He rolled his eyes and at the same time leached out a groan.

He was still clothed, and only I appeared scantily covered. My tight trousers were ripped, and the same for my underwear.

What was I thinking? I’d nearly given him my virginity. To the same man I knew all too well who he was, or what his plans were for me. Yet I’d gotten fazed by his charms and nearly let him claim me.

He rolled off the bed to go attend to whoever was beefing with his door. I took the opportunity to prepare my exit when I heard his voice.

“Stay put on that bed, I’m not done with you yet,” he had said to me. The heck does he mean by that? I understand what he meant perfectly, but was just repelled by the idea.
