Chapter 017

Myra’s point of view

By the time my eyes regained sight, it was to a new environment. The pungent smell of antibiotics drifted through the air, and a glance around notes an awful reality that I got admitted.

“My highness,” a familiar voice beamed with concern, and seated by my side a second later was no other person than my mate as he trailed his finger over my surface. “Are you okay?” He questioned, eyeing me with worry.

He felt my neck, examined my eyes, massaged my temple—

“It’s fine, I’m okay.” I smiled before slapping his hand off me. That was getting too much.

And I mean my words. I do feel okay, or better compare to how I felt earlier in the training room. It was deadly and harsher than before, it’s as if my life was draining out of me.
