The day after Ben was operated, Iris after all the opposition of her strict nurse went to him, only a glance that he was fine would ease her nerves so she reached him to hold his hands to feel his veins, blood pumping through them.

His breathing with the rising of his chest that he was alive made her feel that there is life everywhere. It was only then that she celebrated their little victory over the guy Brent.

Iris held his hand in her and there was flickering of his eyes, his eyelashes opened widely as he looked at her for the first time.

He shifted his head kind of gesture asking her to come close to him.

As Iris stood a little from her wheelchair ignoring the pain on her operated leg, he wiped something from her cheek and said "sorry".

It was only then she realized the friendly bond between the two of them that lead a tear to drop from her eyes; glad that he was safe now.

How close they had gotten within few days of their friendship. Thou
