My wife was going to jail, and I didn't care. I could have helped, but I let the police take her. I was fed up. People were walking all over me. I was tired of it all. The Romanos were with my son. Ruby pulled a gun at me. Then there was Diya, always challenging me at every turn. Everyone was testing my patience that was running thin.
“Are you sure you want her taken?” Filip asked.
“Did I stutter the last time? Do you see me moving to help her?” I replied, looking at the officer with Diya in cuffs. "I don't care what happens to her."
"Diya is innocent. Why are you punishing her?" Filip stared at me.
“You said you would fix this.” Ruby walked to where we were. "You were going to help her earlier."
