Chapter 6 - The mansion

Cecilia (Linnea) POV

I guess I had officially given up my old name.

From now on, I will be Cecilia.

When we reached the car, my buyer held out a pair of handcuffs.

I looked over at Olivia briefly, feeling uncomfortable.

If I actually struggled here and managed to escape, where would I go?

I couldn't answer that question, and I figured that this rich, influential man that just spent a million Euros on me would maybe be interested in helping me if I played my cards right.

So I offered him my wrists and he secured them with the handcuffs before opening the back door to the car and pushing me inside.

He sat down beside me while the guy who I assumed was his right hand, pushed Olivia into the passenger seat.

We drove off and I breathed deeply to ease that sinking feeling in my stomach.

I had no idea where we were going and I was starting to freak out a little bit.

I glanced over on the man who just bought us and realized that I didn’t know his name.

“Excuse me.” I whispered.

He smiled at me like I was a cute little kitten.

“What’s the matter?” He asked.

“I was just wondering.” I started. “Would it be alright if I asked your name?”

He chuckled.

“I am Alpha Alessandro Costa.” He replied.

"Thank you.” I whispered and lowered my head again.

The rest of the ride was silent and when we drove through a pair of large, black, metal gates I stared at the sight before me.

It was an enormous white mansion with green windows. On the driveway in front of it was a large white fountain and the edges had low green hedges, perfectly cut.

The sun was going down and there was a reddish glow cast on everything, making it even more beautiful.

The car came to a stop and Alpha Alessandro got out. He opened the door for me and I awkwardly climbed out, my hands still cuffed behind my back.

Olivia got out too and Alpha Alessandro cleared his throat.

“Harley, take Olivia down to the Omega quarters. She will be given a room that could shield her from the sunlight.”

Harley nodded and took Olivia’s arm.

“Wait.” She cried out. “What are you planning on doing with her? I can’t leave her alone now. She’s way too innocent for that.”

I smiled at her reassuringly.

“I’ll be fine.” I said, trying to convince myself just as much as I was convincing her.

I had to be.

If this man had the resources to buy me for a million Euros, he had the resources to help me get my pack back from Alpha Harald.

I just needed to find out how to get on his good side.

Alpha Alessandro took my arm and led me inside the front door, while Olivia disappeared with Harley to what I guessed was a service entrance on the side of the mansion.

The house was silent and since it was dark outside, I assumed it was in the middle of the night.

After climbing up a set of stairs, we reached a large hallway. Alpha Alessandro opened a double door on the right and gestured for me to go inside.

It turned out to be a large bedroom. A king size bed was standing by the left wall, four pillars in each corner of the bed.

On the left of the bed was a door. Since it was ajar, I could spot a large bathroom in there.

There was a large sofa in the far right corner and another door next to it. I guessed that it was a closet since there were no clothes in the room.

The walls were a navy blue color and all details in the room were black, making it look very dark and gloomy.

Suddenly, I missed the flowery lace curtains in my old bedroom. This was way too dark for me. It seemed to fit my buyer a lot better than me.

Wait a minute.

I stared at Alpha Alessandro as the realization came over me.

This was his room.

Alessandro POV

When we entered my bedroom, I saw Cecilia stiffen. Her eyes darted around with uncertainty before landing on me.

“Yes.” I said, answering her unspoken question. “This is my room. And yes, you will be sleeping in here too.”

Her eyes widened even more and she looked like a deer caught in headlights.

“Umm-“ She said. “Why do you want me to sleep in the same room as you?”

Honestly, I had no idea. I just wanted her to be close to me.

I walked up to her until her breasts were pressed up against my broad chest. I felt that she had no bra underneath that skimpy dress and I silently wondered if she was completely naked except for the thin dress barely covering her ass.

I towered over her and searched her eyes for any fear of defiance.

Surprisingly, I found neither. There was only confusion.

“Are you questioning me, little swan?” I whispered huskily.

She shook her head.

“I was just…” She squeaked.

“Let me tell you something.” I interrupted her. “I bought you for a million euros. You were very expensive, therefore I want to keep you close.”

I trailed my index finger down her cheek to her neck and her breath hitched.

“If I were you.” I added as her eyes fluttered closed in anticipation. “I’d make myself useful to me so that I don’t change my mind.”

She opened her eyes and stared at me with a weird expression, before determination filled her exquisite facial features.

“I won’t let you down.” She whispered and looked into my eyes. “I promise.”

I narrowed my eyes.

“You seem a little too eager for this considering that I just bought you at an auction.” I said. “What are you hiding?”

Hesitation flickered in her eyes.

“I-I just didn’t like it back there.” She said softly. “In my book, you saved me.”

I smirked, not really buying what she was saying.

“Someday Cecilia, I’m gonna figure you out.” I said. “I’m looking forward to the challenge.

She smiled shyly.

I pulled away from her, feeling empty without her body pressed to mine.

Walking into my large walk-in closet, I retrieved a pillow and a duvet for her and handed them to her.

“I’m about to go to sleep.” I said curtly. “I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow and I don’t want you disturbing me by roaming around the room. You can sleep on the bed tonight. I’ll take the couch. Get ready, now.”

“Yes Alpha.” She replied and scrambled off to the bed.

When I had removed my suit and was wearing a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt, I sauntered over to the couch and set up a pillow and blanket for myself.

I glanced over at Cecilia and saw that she was pulling back the covers. She sat down and looked at me.

“Goodnight, little swan.” I said.

“Goodnight, Alpha.” She mumbled and lied down.

Cecilia POV

When Alessandro left in the morning, he ordered me to stay in the room all day. Breakfast and lunch were brought into the room by Omegas and I waited impatiently for him to come back.

I wanted to go see Olivia and make sure that she was okay, but I was afraid what would happen if I defied Alessandro. I knew that he was a good man. Don’t ask me why, but I could just feel it in my bones. But if he were to trust me, I had to do everything right.

I jumped from the couch and gasped when the door opened and Alessandro walked in.

Alessandro was covered in blood.

He shrugged off his jacket and the crisp white shirt underneath was soiled.

“What happened?” I asked before I could stop myself.

Alessandro raised an eyebrow.

“It’s not your place to ask such questions.” He replied. “Draw me a by bath, now.”

I marched to the bathroom and turned the faucets, making hot water run into the bathtub.

There was a small shelf with a collection of bath oils.

Uncertainty washed over me when I realized that I had no idea which one he liked.

I studied the vials and saw that the lavender vial had less oil in it. I figured that it was a scent he used often.

I put in a few drops of lavender oil in the water and turned to leave.

I gasped as I bumped into a hard chest and I realized that Alessandro had been standing right behind me the whole time.

My eyes widened and I felt my face heat up when I realized that he had removed his suit and was only wearing his underwear.

He walked around me and turned the faucets off. I stood with my back to him and heard him remove his last piece of clothing and got into the tub.

“Wait.” He said when I started to leave the bathroom to give him some privacy. “Come here.”

“I-Is there anything else I can do for you?” I asked hesitantly, still with my back to him.

“Yes.” He replied. “Take off your clothes and join me in the tub.”

I nodded and gestured for her to get in. “You still smell of that auction house.” I explained. “I want you to take a bath too.”Cecilia opened her mouth to protest, and quickly closed it again before she pursed her lips and fidgeted with the strap of her dress. “Come on.” I grumbled impatiently. “The water will get cold before you’re finished.”Cecilia gritted her teeth and pulled the straps down on the dress, revealing her perky breasts. The dress fell to the floor and I was right. She was wearing nothing underneath it. Her hands flew up to cover herself, but I glared at her. “Arms to your sides.” I let my eyes roam her body, from her tits to her flat stomach down to her hip

Wanda POVThe Omegas were huddled together in a corner of the yard, holding their crying children in their arms. “Shut up!” One of the Red Rock warriors shouted and aimed a rifle at a woman who tried to soothe her crying baby. “Hey!” I shouted and placed myself in front of the barrel. “Hurting women and children is a coward’s move.”“Move bitch.” The warrior growled. My heart pounded in my ears, but I remained standing with the barrel pressed to my chest. “Name and rank?”I recognized the voice instantly and my blood boiled. It was Alpha Harald. The warrior lowered his gun and took a step back when Alpha Harald pushed past him. “Wanda Nordin, Omega rank,” I replied and glued my eyes to the ground. I wanted to punch the guy in the face, but I needed to protect my Omegas. My pride was a small sacrifice for their well-being. “Wanda.” Alpha Harald said. ”I trust that you can hold your people in check.”I nodded.”I can Alpha.” I replied. ”May I make a request?”I looked up and he

I saw Alessandro walk in and relaxed slightly, but I tensed again when I saw a girl walk in behind him. I sat up and stared at them, unsure what was going on. “Is this her?” The girl asked. After everything that happened during the night, I had trouble sleeping and it felt like someone had run me over with a truck. I stiffly climbed out of bed and walked over to the dresser. I figured that I needed to wear something else than a lace shirt and a leather skirt. Thankfully, I pulled out an old T-shirt and some jeans from the dresser. Both were too big for me, but I had to make due for now. I put some slippers on and followed the rest of the Omegas to get some breakfast. When I entered the dining hall, I looked around for Olivia, hoping that I would see her somewhere. But the sun was out, so I guessed that she didn’t want to leave her room. The Omegas were quickly given a slice of bread with some cheese. I wasn’t really hungry, but still managed to scarf it down before we were ushered out to attend to the chores. “You!” Judith shouted

Rocco POVI knew that I wasn’t supposed to be in this part of the packhouse at this time of night, but I didn’t have a choice. I crept closer to the basement, where faint screams were heard. My hair was standing on end and I shivered at the horrifying sound. Being careful not to draw attention to myself, I snuck closer and peered inside the interrogation room. A man was sitting in a chair, his wrists duct taped to the arm rests. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and several cuts and bruises littered his body. I stifled a gasp when I saw Mia standing behind him. “Please.” The man whimpered. “I’ve told you everything I know.”Mia turned around, her body dressed in a tight leather bodysuit. “Oh, I know.” She purred. “But I’m not done having my fun just yet.”With that, she took out a knife and carved something on the man’s shoulder. He shook and rocked the chair trying to get away from her, but the chair was bolted to the floor. His screams gave me chills and Mia laughed at his anguish. “

Gabriel deserved it, and I loved getting my hands dirty. My father had trained me in hurting people the right way to extract information, and I had become really good at it. I took off the cuffs and instructed Gabriel to take off his shirt and face the crowd. Then, I turned to Linnea and made her back away a bit. I didn’t want to risk hitting her. Linnea looked at me questioningly, as if she was trying to see through me. Maybe she was seeing the excitement?I turned my face away and picked up the whip. “I’m going to count to twenty.” I said. “You should probably get down on your knees in case you pass out before then.”Gabriel nodded stiffly and sat down, refusing to look at the crowd in front of him. When you called, I guessed that this is what you wanted to talk about.”Alessandro nodded. “The council was here and took a lot of the people responsible into custody.” He replied. “I just wanted you to hear it from me first. Soraya contacted Alpha Harald in an attempt for him to claim my Luna as his. It backfired and the council deemed her an accessory to the crimes that had taken place in this pack.”I smiled apologetically when Dante stared at Alessandro in shock. “I’m really sorry about the trouble that she has caused.” He said after a while. “I’ll talk to the council since she is a member of my pack. You would have been Alpha by now.”“Would I?” I asked. “I want to be Alpha because I earned it, not because I got a pack handed to me that wasn’t even mine in the first place.”Mom sneered at me. “It’s because of your mate, isn’t it?” She asked. “Maybe I should have asked more questions earlier, but let’s do this now instead, since she seems to be the reason for this.”I growled at her. “It’s none of your business.” I replied. Linnea POVThe council took two days to sort out the information they had gathered. In the meantime, we decided to clean up the Red Rock pack. The pack was very well off generally, but the ranked members were sitting on all the money while the lower ranked members were struggling to make ends meet. When we arrived, I located the kitchen to talk to the Omegas. One thing I had learned from being an Omega in Alessandro’s pack was that the Omegas heard a lot more than they would let on and if there were anyone to ask about what was going on inside the pack, it was them. I managed to find my way to the kitchen and found a group of twenty Omegas hard at work making lunch. The door to the kitchen was slightly ajar so I stayed outside to observe their dynamic for a moment.“Hurry up, the new Alpha will be here soon.”I peeked in through the door and saw a woman who seemed to be the head Omega barking out orders to the girls that scrambled to fix the last things. Alessandro chuckled too. “I guess not.” He said. “We’ll get to work on that once things have settled down.”We left the bedroom and descended the stairs to the dining room. “So how would you want to decorate the room?” Alessandro asked. I shrugged. “I want it a little lighter.” I said. “It’s a little intimidating, you know.”“Can we keep the pillars by the bed?” Alessandro asked. I smiled seductively.“Maybe.” I replied. “That depends.”Alessandro pulled me closer to him.“On what?” He whispered, his voice husky.“It depends on if you are planning on using them?” I whispered back.

Every region in Sweden had its own council. The Skåne council was located in a small town called Höör, that was in the middle of the region. It would probably not take more than an hour for them to get here once Alessandro called. A group of warriors approached me and Gabriel when Alessandro left. “Where do you want us, Luna?” They asked.
