Linnea POV
"Stop it! You idiots!"
What just happened? My tense muscles suddenly relaxed.
"How many times do I have to tell you? Virgins are the top prize!" The man in the suit grumbled.
His enormous hand smacked the back of the one closest to him so hard he almost stumbled.
"Get her inside, what are you standing around for?" The man in the suit scolded.
"Hurry up! Just be careful with her face; we don't want to affect the price I'll get at the auction later!"
Auction?
What the hell was he talking about?
"Yes, Boss." The three guys who were just acting tough moments ago suddenly became submissive.
I woke up from my shock and tried to push past them, but one of them grabbed me by the neck and pinned me to the wall.
I gasped when the other one slipped a silver collar around my neck, effectively subduing my wolf.
They grabbed my arms and pulled me to a large iron door that I hadn’t noticed. The third opened and I was pulled into a dark hallway.
The door slammed shut behind me and I flinched. The floor was sticky underneath my feet when I was pulled into a large room lined with several cages. Somehow they reminded me of a zoo.
There were girls of various ages in the cages. When we passed, some girls huddled into the furthest corner of their confinements and buried their faces in their knees. Others rattled their cages and screamed profanities that made the hairs in the back of my neck stand on end.
A cage door opened and I was pushed inside. I quickly turned around to slip through the door before it closed, but they were too quick and the cage door slammed shut just an inch from my face.
I staggered back and glared at them.
“Let me out, you animals!” I demanded angrily.
They just chuckled and were about to walk away when a girl to my left lunged at them and scratched one of them on the arm.
He scrambled to get away from the cage.
“You bitch!” He growled.
“You villains are going to hell!” The girl screamed.
“Shut up, you blood-drinking disgusting bitch!” The other one yelled while pulling his scratched friend away from the cage.
I looked closer at her. She was a vampire with her black hair in a bob and dressed in a red halter neck rockabilly dress with black polka dots that flared out around her legs.
She was seething, there was no doubt about that.
The third guy smirked.
“How about we open the windows to let you feel the sunshine? You would like that?”
“Nonono!” She screamed, but they laughed and pulled the curtains aside, revealing the last rays of sunshine.
The vampire girl howled in pain when the sun burned her skin and she pressed herself to the back wall of the cage to get away.
“Stop!” I yelled. “You should have some conscience!”
“Looks like we have another disobedient bitch here.”
The man in the suit showed up again.
“There there.” He said. “Don’t tell me a little bitch has got you all so riled up!”
“No sir.” They replied and scampered away out of sight.
Suit guy stood in front of my cage.
“I can sense that you have a wolf, so you’re not underage, but I need to ask you something.” He muttered. “Are you a virgin?”
I stared at him.
Noticing my hesitance, his eyes narrowed.
“Tell me now, or we’ll get someone in there to get a thorough assessment.”
I frowned.
“But you can’t really see if anyone is a virg…”
I quickly shut up when the rest of his threat registered in my head.
“Umm- I’m a virgin.” I mumbled.
The man raised an eyebrow.
“You’ve got quite the mouth on you.” He sneered. “Whoever buys you could have a lot of fun breaking you in.”
With that, he walked away and left me alone in the cage.
I tried pulling on the bars, seeing if I could find a weak point where I could escape through.
“Don’t bother, girlie-girl.” Vampire girl chirped with a dialect, sounding like she was from Stockholm. “Those bars ain’t going anywhere.”
I frowned at her.
“I’m not gonna just quit, noll-åtta.” (Swedish for zero-eight, a phone dialing code from Stockholm, a nickname usually used for people from the area around the Swedish capital that has a distinct dialect).
Vampire girl huffed.
“What’s your name?” She asked.
I hesitated.
“Cecilia.” I said.
I didn’t dare tell my real name if anyone ever made the connection to my identity. I had to stay hidden for now.
“Right, Cecilia, I’m Olivia.” She replied. “You don’t have to waste your energy, because you’re not going to be here for too much longer.”
“Because of the auction they talked about?” I asked.
Olivia nodded.
“Within a matter of days, you’ll be serving some asshole.” She muttered.
I frowned.
“Isn’t this illegal?” I asked.
“It’s very illegal.” Olivia shrugged. “But hey, it’s Malmö. You could be in a new country within an hour. If there’s anywhere there are auctions like this, it’s here.”
“Oh.” I said, feeling stupid. “Who would even buy us?”
“Either it’s dirty companies looking for people to use for labor, or creeps looking for some cunt.” Olivia sighed. “Most people here aren’t even Swedish. Most are rogue werewolves from Poland or Romania. Lured here with promises of freedom and safety, never to be free or safe ever again.”
I looked around the cages at the crying girls, feeling sick.
“There has to be a way out of here.” I whimpered.
Olivia sat down in the back corner of her cage.
“Let me know if you find a way.” She sighed. “I’ve been here for three days already and I thought that I already tried everything.
I sat down on the floor next to her, the bars of the cages separating us.
Even though I would never wish this upon my greatest enemy, I was happy that I wasn’t alone in this hellish place.
I had no idea how many hours had passed when a lot of people marched in. They tossed a piece of fabric through the bars of each cage.
Olivia and I got up, grabbing the fabric.
“Change into that.”
I looked up and saw the blonde short haired one from earlier sneering at me.
The fabric turned out to be a short, black, body-hugging dress with spaghetti straps.
I heard Olivia scoff.
“I’m not wearing this piece of crap.” She muttered. “This barely covers anything.”
“That’s the point.” He replied. “Wear it or don’t wear anything at all.”
She glared daggers at him and he turned back to me.
“Strip.” He sneered.
I paled.
“Sure, if you show me to the changing room.” I muttered.
He chuckled.
“What makes you think there’s a changing room for you, darling?” He smirked.
I sighed and turned my back to him before pulling my shirt off.
“Bra off too.” He commented.
I flipped him the bird and slipped off my bra, still with my back to him to make sure that he couldn’t see anything.
After I pulled the dress over my head, I pulled it down as far as I could before pulling down my jeans.
“Barefoot, and no panties.” He chuckled.
I glared at him and took everything off until I was only wearing the little black dress.
“Jewelry too.” He demanded and reached out his hand.
My heart sank.
“No, please.” I pleaded. “They are the last thing that I have left of my mother.”
“Boohoo.” The man mocked. “Earrings, now!”
With tears streaming down my cheeks, I took them off and handed them over.
That’s it. There was nothing left of me.
Bundling my clothes and shoes up, I chucked them at him, hoping that I could hit him in the head with one of my shoes.
Unfortunately, I had no such luck. He caught the clothes and walked away laughing.
I hugged myself and glanced at Olivia tossing her clothes out through the bars.
“This is humiliating.” I muttered.
“Yep.” She muttered back. “At least we all look equally stupid.”
Four girls were extracted from their cages and led in handcuffs to a door at the end of the corridor.
Olivia and I looked at each other, her face mirroring my horrified expression.
“Here we go.” Olivia muttered.
It was hard keeping track of time, but after a while, they came back and got four more girls.
My heart sank when they came back and one of them walked over to my cage.
“Come on out, sweetie.” He sang.
I didn’t move.
“Come on out, or you’ll be dragged out.” He growled.
He grabbed my arm and yanked me out of the cage and pinning me with my face against the bars.
I felt my hands being cuffed behind my back and he grabbed me by the hair and yanked my head backwards.
A blindfold was placed over my eyes, making everything go dark.
“It was nice meeting you.” I heard Olivia call out as I was pulled away to an unknown future.
Linnea POVThe grip on my arm was so harsh that I was paralyzed. My heart was beating wildly in my chest and I felt like throwing up. We came to an abrupt stop and a cuff was placed around my ankle. The handcuffs came off and the blindfold was yanked from my eyes. I rubbed my aching wrists and looked around. The ankle cuff was connected to a chain bolted to the floor. I was standing on a dark stage.A sharp light was directed towards me. I squinted and held up a hand in front of my face to keep myself from being blinded. From the sounds coming from behind the light, I guessed that there was an audience on the other side. I pulled on the chains, but they wouldn’t budge. “Ladies and gentlemen.” I heard a voice say. “Next up, we have the precious of the day. A virgin werewolf girl. Look at that pretty face. Bring her home to serve you from kitchen to bed!”I crowned. "In your dreams." I muttered.“And we’ve placed a special collar to lock her werewolf power up, so dont worry, she wo
A few hours earlier.Alessandro POV. “I’ll give you one last chance.” I said, screwing a silencer onto my gun. “Where are the weapons?”The man in front of me coughed out some blood.”I don’t know.” He wheezed.I rolled my eyes.Of course I didn’t believe him.The sorry excuse of a man in front of me was one of Viper’s closest men. I was sure that he would have the information I wanted.I pulled out the knife stuck in his hand and he howled in pain. “Last chance.” I said.“Go fuck yourself, Costa.” The man spat. “I hope you never find your precious weapons.”I smirked and fired my gun.A bullet shot out of the barrel and pierced the man’s forehead. His head flew back from the force and blood splattered on the plastic covered wall behind him.“Still nothing.” I sighed and wiped my hands on a towel.“Bring me another one.” I ordered before walking back to my office.Harley, my Beta, tossed a file on my desk. “They’re all gone.” He exasperated. “Five million Euros worth of guns and th
Cecilia (Linnea) POVI guess I had officially given up my old name. From now on, I will be Cecilia. When we reached the car, my buyer held out a pair of handcuffs. I looked over at Olivia briefly, feeling uncomfortable. If I actually struggled here and managed to escape, where would I go?I couldn't answer that question, and I figured that this rich, influential man that just spent a million Euros on me would maybe be interested in helping me if I played my cards right. So I offered him my wrists and he secured them with the handcuffs before opening the back door to the car and pushing me inside. He sat down beside me while the guy who I assumed was his right hand, pushed Olivia into the passenger seat.We drove off and I breathed deeply to ease that sinking feeling in my stomach.I had no idea where we were going and I was starting to freak out a little bit.I glanced over on the man who just bought us and realized that I didn’t know his name.“Excuse me.” I whispered. He smiled
Alessandro POVCecilia turned around in shock and quickly covered her eyes with her hands. “Remove your hands.” I ordered. Her arms fell to her sides and I saw her eyes trail down my body until she jerked her gaze up to meet my eyes again.“You-You want me to get in there with you?” She asked hesitantly. I nodded and gestured for her to get in. “You still smell of that auction house.” I explained. “I want you to take a bath too.”Cecilia opened her mouth to protest, and quickly closed it again before she pursed her lips and fidgeted with the strap of her dress. “Come on.” I grumbled impatiently. “The water will get cold before you’re finished.”Cecilia gritted her teeth and pulled the straps down on the dress, revealing her perky breasts. The dress fell to the floor and I was right. She was wearing nothing underneath it. Her hands flew up to cover herself, but I glared at her. “Arms to your sides.” I let my eyes roam her body, from her tits to her flat stomach down to her hip
Wanda POVThe Omegas were huddled together in a corner of the yard, holding their crying children in their arms. “Shut up!” One of the Red Rock warriors shouted and aimed a rifle at a woman who tried to soothe her crying baby. “Hey!” I shouted and placed myself in front of the barrel. “Hurting women and children is a coward’s move.”“Move bitch.” The warrior growled. My heart pounded in my ears, but I remained standing with the barrel pressed to my chest. “Name and rank?”I recognized the voice instantly and my blood boiled. It was Alpha Harald. The warrior lowered his gun and took a step back when Alpha Harald pushed past him. “Wanda Nordin, Omega rank,” I replied and glued my eyes to the ground. I wanted to punch the guy in the face, but I needed to protect my Omegas. My pride was a small sacrifice for their well-being. “Wanda.” Alpha Harald said. ”I trust that you can hold your people in check.”I nodded.”I can Alpha.” I replied. ”May I make a request?”I looked up and he
Alessandro POVI was surprised to see her in those clothes. Her long legs were on full display under that leather skirt and the tight red shirt revealed a lot of cleavage.I resisted the urge to look down on her beautiful tits as she tilted her head back when I walked up to her. “I think it’s time we had a chat,” I said. Cecilia gulped. “I don’t know what you want from me, Alpha.” She said quietly. “I told you already.”I smirked. “You did, but I don’t believe a single word of it.” I retorted.I entangled my fingers in her hair and pulled her head further back. “I’ll give you one last chance,” I whispered. “Who are you?”Cecilia blinked at me. “I-I’m an Omega that was sold to the auction house.” She whispered.“And your hair?” I asked. “Covered in soot from the fireplace.” She replied. “I slept there when the nights were cold.”I narrowed my eyes. “And the mark?” I asked. Cecilia closed her eyes. “Marked by force.” She whispered. “He doesn’t really want me.”I frowned.“Is t
Cecilia POVMy heart pounded in my chest and my mouth went dry. For a moment, I just froze and stared at him. An image of the warrior in the basement with cuts and bruises all over his body flashed before my eyes. "A-are y-you going to hurt me?" I squeaked. "Like the warrior in the basement?" Alessandro chuckled."You and I are going to have a lot more fun than he had. But yes, it will probably hurt a little."”I don’t understand what you want from me.” I was exasperated. “I already told you everything!”“And I don’t believe you,” Alessandro growled. “Therefore I will do anything I want with you to make sure that I can trust you.”Goddess, why did that sound so sexy? “You bought me.” I retorted and crossed my arms over my chest. “You can do anything you want anyways.”Alessandro smirked at me.“You’re right.” He whispered. “I can do anything I want. And I want to make you sing.”I frowned.“I’m not much of a singer,” I said sheepishly. He chuckled.“You sang so beautifully in the
Cecilia POVI stared at Alessandro. “What Alpha’s daughter?” I asked.“The one from MoonStone pack,” Alessandro replied and released my wrists from the handcuffs. “I believe you.”I sat up and rubbed my wrists, feeling confused.I was the Alpha’s daughter. But I was very much alive. How could my body have turned up in the forest?“That’s terrible,” I said. “What happened?” “Her body was burned so no one really knows,” Alessandro said. “They only identified her on the hair and the wedding dress.”I frowned.Someone must have faked my death to get the warriors off my tail.I felt relieved that I didn’t have people after me anymore, but my heart still sank at the thought of someone losing their life because of me.“I suppose that you were telling me the truth.” Alessandro’s voice broke me out of my thoughts and I looked up at him. I shrugged. “I understand,” I replied. “We’ve just met. I don’t expect you to blindly trust me.”Alessandro sat down beside me and rubbed my wrists.“But
Rocco POVI knew that I wasn’t supposed to be in this part of the packhouse at this time of night, but I didn’t have a choice. I crept closer to the basement, where faint screams were heard. My hair was standing on end and I shivered at the horrifying sound. Being careful not to draw attention to myself, I snuck closer and peered inside the interrogation room. A man was sitting in a chair, his wrists duct taped to the arm rests. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and several cuts and bruises littered his body. I stifled a gasp when I saw Mia standing behind him. “Please.” The man whimpered. “I’ve told you everything I know.”Mia turned around, her body dressed in a tight leather bodysuit. “Oh, I know.” She purred. “But I’m not done having my fun just yet.”With that, she took out a knife and carved something on the man’s shoulder. He shook and rocked the chair trying to get away from her, but the chair was bolted to the floor. His screams gave me chills and Mia laughed at his anguish. “
Alessandro POVGabriel’s hands trembled as he walked up the steps, his head lowered. I would never admit it to Linnea, but I was going to enjoy this. Gabriel deserved it, and I loved getting my hands dirty. My father had trained me in hurting people the right way to extract information, and I had become really good at it. I took off the cuffs and instructed Gabriel to take off his shirt and face the crowd. Then, I turned to Linnea and made her back away a bit. I didn’t want to risk hitting her. Linnea looked at me questioningly, as if she was trying to see through me. Maybe she was seeing the excitement?I turned my face away and picked up the whip. “I’m going to count to twenty.” I said. “You should probably get down on your knees in case you pass out before then.”Gabriel nodded stiffly and sat down, refusing to look at the crowd in front of him. I unfolded the whip, the silver tip glimmering in the light as it came down on his back. Gabriel cried out from the pain, his hands b
Linnea POVAlessandro sat down behind the desk and I perched myself on his lap when there was a knock at the door. “Come in.” Alessandro called out. Wanda opened the door and showed a man inside. “Dante.” Alessandro smiled. “Thank you for coming.”“Do you know what’s going on?” Dante asked. “Soraya has been missing. I have no idea where she is. When you called, I guessed that this is what you wanted to talk about.”Alessandro nodded. “The council was here and took a lot of the people responsible into custody.” He replied. “I just wanted you to hear it from me first. Soraya contacted Alpha Harald in an attempt for him to claim my Luna as his. It backfired and the council deemed her an accessory to the crimes that had taken place in this pack.”I smiled apologetically when Dante stared at Alessandro in shock. “I’m really sorry about the trouble that she has caused.” He said after a while. “I’ll talk to the council since she is a member of my pack. I just never thought that she woul
Gabriel POVI didn’t know how long I had been in the cell, but I was starting to feel stressed. My mother was locked in the cell beside mine and she hadn’t stopped glaring at me. “Was it worth it?” She asked. “Selling out your family?”I shrugged. “We should never have gone along with this in the first place.” I replied. “Now we lost everything.”“Yes, because of you!” Mom screamed, making the other prisoners throw annoyed looks at her. “You did this to us. You would have been Alpha by now.”“Would I?” I asked. “I want to be Alpha because I earned it, not because I got a pack handed to me that wasn’t even mine in the first place.”Mom sneered at me. “It’s because of your mate, isn’t it?” She asked. “Maybe I should have asked more questions earlier, but let’s do this now instead, since she seems to be the reason for this.”I growled at her. “It’s none of your business.” I replied. Before my mom could reply, a group of MoonStone warriors walked in. “You are being transported.” One
Linnea POVThe council took two days to sort out the information they had gathered. In the meantime, we decided to clean up the Red Rock pack. The pack was very well off generally, but the ranked members were sitting on all the money while the lower ranked members were struggling to make ends meet. When we arrived, I located the kitchen to talk to the Omegas. One thing I had learned from being an Omega in Alessandro’s pack was that the Omegas heard a lot more than they would let on and if there were anyone to ask about what was going on inside the pack, it was them. I managed to find my way to the kitchen and found a group of twenty Omegas hard at work making lunch. The door to the kitchen was slightly ajar so I stayed outside to observe their dynamic for a moment.“Hurry up, the new Alpha will be here soon.”I peeked in through the door and saw a woman who seemed to be the head Omega barking out orders to the girls that scrambled to fix the last things. Taking a deep breath and
Linnea POV“You know, if I’m going to be living with you and share a bedroom with you, we might need to make a few changes.” I teased as we got dressed the next morning.Alessandro raised an eyebrow. “Really?” He said. “You don’t like my bedroom?”I gestured to my room and chuckled. “Do I look like the kind of person that would be totally fine with having a room as dark and gloomy as yours?” I asked. Alessandro chuckled too. “I guess not.” He said. “We’ll get to work on that once things have settled down.”We left the bedroom and descended the stairs to the dining room. “So how would you want to decorate the room?” Alessandro asked. I shrugged. “I want it a little lighter.” I said. “It’s a little intimidating, you know.”“Can we keep the pillars by the bed?” Alessandro asked. I smiled seductively.“Maybe.” I replied. “That depends.”Alessandro pulled me closer to him.“On what?” He whispered, his voice husky.“It depends on if you are planning on using them?” I whispered back.
When the car stopped, three men and a woman stepped out and made their way over to us. They were all dressed in black suits and their faces all looked stern and cold. The dominating auras that emanated from them made them feel so intimidating and I shivered a little. “Alpha Alessandro, I presume.” A man with dark hair that reached his shoulders spoke. “Yes.” Alessandro asked. They quickly introduced themselves as Councilman Jonathan, Tore, Isac and Councilwoman Carina.“Thank you for coming so quickly.” Alessandro said and shook hands with the man who appeared to be their boss. “We’ve been aware of the situation for a while.” Councilman Jonathan replied. “We reached out to Alpha Harald, but he reassured us that everything was by the book and he was going to leave the pack in the capable hands of the Alpha’s stepson.”Alessandro shook his head. “The takeover was done without a challenge to the Alpha.” He said. “My Luna can testify to that.”He gestured to me and Councilman Jonat
Linnea POVWhen we got back to the packhouse, everything was in complete chaos. Our warriors were leading Red Rock warriors into the dungeons. “Where’s Antonia?” I asked Gabriel.“In the dungeon.” He replied. “I locked her in there and went to help you.”“Right.” Alessandro said. “I need to go call the council and get them here ASAP.”I nodded. “Yeah, we need to sort out a lot of things around here.” I agreed. Every region in Sweden had its own council. The Skåne council was located in a small town called Höör, that was in the middle of the region. It would probably not take more than an hour for them to get here once Alessandro called. A group of warriors approached me and Gabriel when Alessandro left. “Where do you want us, Luna?” They asked. I glanced at Gabriel and he nodded. “I should probably get to the dungeon too.” He whispered. “I’m sorry.” I croaked out. “I’ll do everything I can.”Gabriel smiled softly and I turned to the warriors. “Give him his own cell.” I said.
Alessandro POVI had no idea why she was here, but she seemed to be on our side, so I decided to let it go for now and smelled the air to pick up Alpha Harald’s scent. “Go.” The witch said. “I’ll take care of the last of these idiots.”With that, she threw a ball of lightning towards the wolves. I looked over at David, who nodded reassuringly. We took off together towards the forest. Two Alphas against a coward that relied more on his money and armies than his own strength. Easy.I forced myself not to think that this was a piece of cake. If I did, I might underestimate him when the time came. He took over this whole pack in a matter of hours. He might have some more tricks up his sleeve. I spotted a running wolf at the edge of the forest and quickened my pace. The wounds from the previous fight were healing pretty well and I was starting to feel stronger with every stride. Alpha Harald raced out into a meadow when we caught up with him. David ran past me and was just about to po
