2024-10-29 19:42:56I put my seat belt on and he started the car engine and drove out of the gate. It was quiet in the car and I knew I owed him an apology, so I turned to him and opened my lips to speak hoping he would let me finish what I had to say before cutting me off.
“I am sorry for eating the popcorn yesterday, I saw you brought it from the States and left it for your mother, it was for her right?”
“Forget it.” He said coldly without looking at me and I was glad that perhaps he had forgiven me although his voice was stern.
