I'm your home.

Elliot rushed his car towards the hospital. It took him 15 minutes to cover a 45 minutes way.

He ran frantically towards the operation theatre.

Lily was sitting aside with tears in her eyes. She saw Elliot coming, she hurriedly stood up.

"Elliot, she has lost a lot of blood", Lily choked while explaining things to him.

Elliot saw a nurse coming out of the operation theatre. He went to her.

"How's Sky?", he asked nervously.

"What's your relation with the patient?", the nurse asked him.

"I'm her fiance", he said without any hesitation.

"Kindly go to the reception and clear the bills", the nurse told him.

"She's fine now. Although she has lost a lot of blood and injured her legs badly, especially the left one, but she's out of danger.", the nurse reassured him.

"I'll pay the bills right away", he said and gave his card to Lily and asked her to go and pay the bill.

"Can I see her now?", he asked the nurse.

"Well, I don't think so. She just had an operation and it's good to let her rest for a while", the nurse said with a straight face.

"Oh Mr. Frost! What brought you here today?", the doctor who just came out of the operation theatre asked Elliot with a delighted look.

Elliot looked at the familiar face and answered, "My fiancee just had an accident, I came to see her", he replied.

"Oh, you mean Miss Sky?", the doctor asked.

"Yes, how's she now? Can I see her?", he asked the doctor.

"Yes ofcourse! How could I say no to you? Let us shift her in a room, then you can meet her", the doctor replied with a smile.

"She's under the effect of anesthesia so she won't get up for a while", the doctor reminded him and asked the nurses to shift Sky to a VIP room.

The nurse who declined Elliot's request before was dumbfounded when she realized how she had said no to the richest person of Switzerland.

She was worried about her job now.

"I'm so sorry Mr. Frost! I didn't know it's you", the nurse said hurriedly.

"It's ok, you were just doing your job", Elliot's words calmed her down, else she was sure she'd lose her job.

Sky was quickly shifted to another room.

Elliot went inside the room and saw his most beloved person lying on the hospital bed.

Sky looked pale as she had lost a lot of blood.

Elliot went forward and sat down beside her on a chair. He held her cold hand in his warm one.

"Why are you so careless Sky?", he asked while caressing her hair with the other hand.

"What would I've done without you?", he said softly.

"When will you stop scaring me like this?", he asked with a heavy heart.

He recalled the old times when Sky went missing and he got so anxious that he thought his heart was about to explode in his chest.

When Sky turned 5 years old, his mother planned to throw a birthday party for her. Sky got so happy when she heard that.

Everyone was busy in preparations when Sky went to the kitchen to drink some water. There she heard the maids talking to each other.

"What's the use for throwing a lavish party for a country pumpkin?", one of the maid said with disdain.

"I have no idea from where madam got this girl and even took her home", the other maid said with the same expression.

"Don't you know? She's madam's bestfriend's daughter. Her parents died in a road accident and left this troublemaker for us", the first maid said angrily as if her parent's death was caused by her.

"Why didn't she go with her relatives then? Why did madam take her home?", the second maid asked curiously.

"I don't know, maybe she doesn't have anyone beside her parents. Madam took her out of sympathy", the first maid sighed.

"Madam should have thrown her in the orphanage", the second maid commented.

"Maybe she would put her in the orphanage in near future", the first maid said hopefully.

Emily called Elliot and told her to bring Sky in the garden to celebrate her birthday as all the decorations were done.

Elliot went in her room but she wasn't there. He checked in the other rooms but still couldn't find her.

He ran to his mother and told her nervously that Sky isn't at home.

"What? Where could she go? She doesn't even know the ways", Emily exclaimed in horror.

She was her precious bestfriend's beloved daughter. How would she face her bestfriend in the next life if she lost her daughter.

Elliot turned the house upside down in search of Sky but couldn't find her.

Everyone was searching for her when Mrs. Wood came anxiously towards Emily and told her how Sky heard the maids discussing about her.

Emily burst into tears when she heard this. She had kept this secret from Sky and didn't know how she'd face her now.

Sky had always thought that her parents have gone to abroad to settle down and soon will call her there.

Emily furiously called the maids and fired them right away. The maids couldn't say anything as Emily was steaming with anger. They left quietly.

When Elliot heard about it, he went into a deep thought. He told her mom to wait for him and went to the nearby park.

He searched for the tree Sky liked the most and climbed it.

As expected. He found her there in a miserable state.

Her face had turned red due to excessive mourning. He touched her hand softly and called her.

"Are you ok?", Sky was stunned when she saw him.

"How did you find me?", she asked him.

"Because I know you the best", he said while gently wiping tears from her face.

"Did you also know the truth about my parents?", Sky asked with sorrow.

"No, I just learned about it", he said while holding her hands.

"Don't cry.", Elliot said softly.

"They said aunt will put me in the orphanage when she'll get tired of me", Sky said while trembling with fear and sorrow.

"They lied, mom would never do that", Elliot tried to calm her down.

"But what if one day she really gets tired of me? Where will I go then? Should I also follow my parents?", Sky asked with tears.

Elliot's heart trembled violently at her words. He hugged her tightly.

"No, Sky. Don't ever say that again", he said with a heavy voice.

"But I don't have anyone, where will I go? I don't even have a home", Sky said with a broken heart.

"You have me Sky", Elliot held her hands tightly and said in an affirming tone.

"I'm your home", he said and hugged her again.
