You weren’t forced to retaliate. You were doing this with vicious intentions. If we hadn’t uncovered the truth, did you think about what would have happened to Ruth? If you put yourself in her shoes, do you think you’ll be acting like this?“

As he spoke, Abel’s cold gaze swept across the few people who had spoken up for Denver earlier.

They looked embarrassed and lowered their heads guiltily.

Abel turned to look at Julius. ”You might have been biased toward Ruth in the past, but you always tried to side with Denver in today’s matter. Now that the truth is out, why are you still hesitating?“

He stared coldly at Julius.

His words were slightly threatening.

His message was clear. If Julius did not deal with this appropriately, Abel would not let the matter rest.
