Ruth’s excuse for leaving was because she was tired.

As the owner of the resort, Matt knew that they wanted to leave the party, but he could not really say much against it. Instead, he thoughtfully arranged a room for them to rest in.

Coincidentally, Abel was not thinking about resting as he brought Ruth to their room.

The moment they entered the room, Abel’s phone rang. He went to answer it on the balcony.

Ruth poured herself a glass of water and gulped it down to calm herself down.

As soon as she put down the cup, she saw Abel finish up his call and return from the balcony. His calm gaze landed on her.

Then, his gaze moved down and landed on the empty glass of water on the coffee table.

Ruth followed his gaze and said angrily, “What are you looking at? Have you never seen a lady drink water?”

Abel said calmly, “I’ve never seen a lady pour only for herself.”

Ruth’s eye twitched as an impulse to retort surged within her.

Didn’t he have hands? He could pour himself a drink!
