Ruth immediately became aware of her surroundings and moved quickly to the door.

Abel froze. Then, he wound down the car window and glared at the perpetrator.

Kallan still had his phone in hand. When he saw how displeased his boss was because he had obviously been c*ckblocked, his heart skipped a beat, but he pretended to be calm and pointed at his phone. “Mr. Blakewell, they’re already asking where you are.”
