Chapter 908 Selfless Acts

Ellen avoided making eye contact with Rebecca and coughed nervously. He slowly pushed her suitcase and said, "We found some things that belong to him recently, and a bunch seem connected to you.

"So, we thought you should have them."

Rebecca walked ahead quickly. She did not slow down like she had at the airport.

"I know you're upset about his past, Rebecca. But think about how he and we treated you for the past four years," Ellen said. He handed the suitcase to a security guard and limped to catch up with her.

"And he's gone now. What's the point of holding onto the anger?" Ellen added.

Rebecca slowed down and glanced at him. She wanted to say something but stayed silent. The villa's decor and furniture remained unchanged since she had last been there.

Even the new additions seemed to deliberately match the existing style, as if they were reluctant to let her forget the past. Rebecca strolled through the space and took in the familiar surroundings.
