Chapter 882 Tough Road Ahead

The man pursed his lips and stood in silence for a few more seconds before finally turning his head and continuing his footsteps.

Emerging from the dimly lit room, the glaring light made Rebecca squint her eyes. It took her a while to adjust.

Surrounding them were tall, towering trees. As Rebecca looked up, she saw the crimson rhododendrons blooming at the top of the trees.

Moss climbed up the roots of the trees from the ground. There were snails slowly crawling on them. Water droplets fell from the leaves and hit a snail's head, causing its two antennae to retract.

If it weren't for the difficult path ahead, Rebecca would almost feel like she had entered a fairyland.

Sure enough, most untouched places were beautiful destinations on Earth.

However, in the next moment, her perspective of nature was immediately shattered by the two men walking along her.

The snail, which was hidden in its shell and only had its antennae out, was crushed under David's boot.
