Darren's frail face appeared on the screen once the call connected.

Perhaps he was infuriated by Daniel's actions. He seemed in a worse condition compared to when Daniel last saw him at the hospital. Even his phone's camera filter couldn't fix his weak complexion.

Darren parted his lips, and his feeble voice rang out. He struggled for a long time but could only utter "Winston" several times.
