It was silent.

The awkward atmosphere filled the air.

David’s sharp interpretation of her thoughts had left Rebecca speechless.

Any explanations were futile at this point.

David didn't rush her for an explanation either.

He was still smiling gently. His tall figure was planted in front of Rebecca. He looked at her without saying a word.
