David's expression became gloomy as he was waiting for Rebecca to give him a definite answer.

Stop trying to make David appear like a good guy. Not even in real life an evil person like him would have all this peace. When will he start paying for all his wrongdoing? The story is good, but starting to ponder if it is not better to just stop reading
