Sam chuckled mockingly. "We don't deserve your concern. Mr. Jenkins, just worry about yourself."

Sam had been polite to him in the past for the sake of his friendship with Rebecca.

But when Rebecca went missing after falling into the sea four years ago, he tried to persuade everyone to accept the fact that she was gone. Sam was deeply disgusted.

Everybody knew the chances of surviving were slim if someone jumped into the sea.

Rebecca had also jumped into the lake at Tillfort Peaks. At least they could drain the lake and find the body.

But the sea was a different case. Rebecca was most probably dead.

Everyone knew that. But they continued the search to keep a glimmer of hope in their hearts.
