Chapter 303 Why Can You Call Her That but I Can’t

Rebecca was having conflicting thoughts. She didn't want to care about the pitiful man who was currently bedridden, but her mind kept flashing images of Daniel in the future. She was deeply hurt by the scars on his face and the way people looked at him.

She forced the images out of her mind and twisted open the tube. She tried to distract herself by doing other things.

She rolled up her thin sleeves to expose an arm full of scars. She had accumulated them over time and they weren't that obvious anymore. However, they were still glaringly obvious when compared to parts of her that were unscathed. Adding to that was a greenish-red bruise she got from knocking against the doorframe.

Ryan had wanted to look at the bruise he caused, but his whole body froze at the sight of her arm.

There were long, narrow knife wounds running down her arm. Although the scars didn't cover her entire arm, it was still hard to believe that a human did so to a young girl.
