Chapter 10 Disownment Agreement

Rebecca stopped in her tracks when she heard Karen calling out to her.

Karen got up from the floor with a cold expression. Then, she waved to have someone bring a document to her. "Since you've decided to leave our family, sign this disownment agreement."

Having the disownment in writing was better than a verbal agreement alone. Rebecca was already an adult. Still, nobody could tell if she would go back on her word. Maybe she would refuse to give up being a member of a wealthy family.

Karen didn't want her adopted daughter to take advantage of the Brown family!

Without hesitation, Rebecca signed the disownment agreement. There were two copies, so she kept one.

Once again, she thanked Karen. "Thank you for raising me, Mrs. Brown. Goodbye."

She wanted to leave as soon as she said that. She ignored everybody, including her supposed ex-husband.
