Leonardo's girlfriend, Lara Chavez, was pounding harder on Leonardo's door. It echoed throughout the Vera mansion as Angela and Mrs. Gale rushed in from outside into the living room.
Angela and Mrs. Gale entered the living room and saw a man who smiled at her.
"Angela, he's Leonardo's best friend, Fredrick Milldam," Mrs. Gale said.
"Nice to meet you, sir," Angela said warmly to Leo's best friend.
"Are you Leo's new nurse?" Fredrick gave Angela a friendly smile. "You can call me Frex. That would make me very happy. We've come to see Leonardo. "
Angela was drawn to Fredrick's boyish appearance. His curly hair was longer, as if he were a rock singer on the move. And his eyes were black, just like her sister Esper's. And she was warmed by his friendly demeanor toward her.
Then Leonardo's yelling from his room filled the air once more, "Get out! Right now, I don't want any visitors! "
All of their attention was focused on the direction of Leonardo's room when a door slammed and steps ran towards the corner, where a beautiful long-legged woman appeared sobbing. Lara Chavez was Leonardo Vera's girlfriend. She was crying and complaining about Leonardo's cold demeanor toward her, and Fredrick came to her aid and pacified her, "Let's go outside. Have a fresh breeze washed off your sorrow. " They went outside.
"Lara is a well-known model in town. And she's madly in love with Leonardo. " Mrs. Gale's description of Lara Chavez disturbed Angela.
Her sister Esper, based on what she saw, was no match for her. Lara's flawless complexion and expensive outfit indicated that she was born into a wealthy family. And the way she moved resembled a royal personality with great breeding. In contrast to her sister Esper, who comes from a poor family and was as simple as Angela, Mrs. Gale also added more information about Lara Chavez.
"She was the most recent of Leonardo's girlfriends before the accident," Mrs. Gale elaborated.
"What do you think was the cause of Miss Chavez's tears as she exited Mr. Vera's room?" Angela inquired.
"Well, the Leonardo of today is not the Leonardo of yesterday." Mrs. Gale explained.
"I heard Lara's voice, Alicia," Mrs. Vera said as she emerged from her room. "Where is she now?"
"Fredrick took her with him outside the house, Mrs. Vera."
"Please prepare the lunch, Alicia," Mrs. Vera said as she exited the house to join the visitors, leaving Angela and Mrs. Gale in the living room.
Angela could sense Mrs. Vera's sadness and felt sorry for her. She heard nothing from Leonardo's room, and after Mrs. Gale left her to prepare the lunch, Angela went to the main door and left it ajar.
Angela overheard their conversation outside. She could hear Lara's voice.
"She pushed me away, Mrs. Vera," Lara cried loudly. They were sitting on the swing in the garden. Mrs. Vera and Fredrick both wanted to comfort Lara.
"This is only for a short time, Lara; don't take it seriously," Mrs. Vera added. "There will come a time when Leonardo will come to his senses."
"But he dumped me, Mrs. Vera. He didn't want to see me. " Lara wailed.
Angela silently observed everything that happened in the house. This is her first day of work, and she must be aware of everyone associated with Leonardo. And she was curious about Lara Chavez. What if she had anything to do with Esper's death?
"Angela, it's time for Leonardo's lunch," Mrs. Gale said as she approached Angela from the kitchen.
In a few minutes, Angela approached Leonardo's room, holding a tray of food.
Mrs. Gale had warned her about Leonardo's suicidal tendencies. He used the fork to cut his pulse. So, don't give him anything sharp that he could use to end his life. She thought of the warning.
Angela then pushed the door widely open. But she had no idea Leonardo's hearing sense would be so acute as he threw something to Angela.
"I said get lost," Leonardo was yelling and throwing something.
Angela stepped back to avoid the flying object and dropped the tray of food. "Look what you've done!" she exclaimed. "All of the food has been thrown on the floor!"
"Did I make myself clear? I don’t need a nurse, so, get lost! "
"Sorry to tell you, Mr. Vera. There’s nothing you can do to push me away from you. I don’t care if you like me or not; what I care about is my job. And I don’t give a damn if you like to kill me! "
"You stupid, hardheaded, evil woman," Leonardo exclaimed as he rose to his feet.
"You're the evil one." She yelled, "Just listen to yourself and you’ll know what kind of evil person you are, Mr. Vera."
"Go to hell!" Leonardo screamed.
"You go to hell!" Angela yelled as she picked up the food on the floor. She noticed fragments of broken glasses.
"What the fuck is that?" He took a step back; his right foot was bleeding.
"There you are, Mr. Nasty man. You have what you want. Now your foot is bleeding, and you need me to clean it. "
"It's all your fault; you're dead now!"
"No, I'm not. Between the two of us, I have a better chance of living than you. " Angela was prompted to look at Leonardo's foot and kneel on the floor to check his wound, and the next thing she felt was Leonardo's hand clutching her hair tightly, and an excruciating pain accelerated, causing her to scream a little.
"Now I've got you, Miss Annoying," he said, twisting his fingers through Angela's hair. "Do you really believe I can't hurt you?"
"Let go of my hair, you jerk." Angela struggled, "Are you gay?"
"I’ll teach you a lesson! I don't have respect for a stupid woman like you! "
Mrs. Gale entered the room and helped Angela out of Leonardo's grasp.
"Leonardo, let go of Angela's hair!" And she unclutched Leonardo's hands from Angela's hair, and when it loosened a little, Angela pushed hard on Leonardo, who slammed to the floor.
"Oh, Leonardo, my goodness. What are you doing? It's bad for a man to pull a woman's hair. It’s ridiculous. "
"I told you all, I don't need a nurse! Take that jerk out of this room! "
"You're a knucklehead." Angela barked, "Based on how you speak and treat me! You're the jerk one! "And she wanted to shoot him.
"Get out!" Leonardo yelled.
"No! Never!" Angela retorted.
"Please stop," Mrs. Gale begged. "You two might kill each other."
"Don't worry, Mrs. Gale. It's not yet time to execute that jerk. " Angela growled.
"This nurse is the most barbarian of all those hired."
"You are the barbarian, not I!" Angela shouted.
"Who are you? Do you really want to get into a fight?" He yelled angrily.
"You were the one looking for it." Angela retorted, "I'm only here to feed you, but take a look at what you've done. You splattered your food on the floor," Angela said to Mrs. Gale. "Please bring another tray of food here, Mrs. Gale."
A few minutes later, back in Leonardo’s room, Angela was holding another tray of food and demanded, "You must eat." She said this after Mrs. Gale exited the room.
Leonardo gritted his teeth and said, "Do you really understand what you are doing?"
"Of course," I say, "Do I have to remind you why I'm here?" Angela said sarcastically, "I am your nurse, and as I previously stated, you must eat right now."
"Are you nuts? What do you think of yourself here? Are you the boss? " Leonardo sat at the edge of his bed, ignoring his bleeding foot. "You’re just a nurse. And you can’t tell me what to do. This is my life and my body; I am in command of myself. "
"A nurse's duty is to make sure that the patient can receive proper diet and medicine." Angela added, "And as a nurse, she has all the power to make the patient take his food and medicine no matter what it costs her." Angela started to feel satisfied about torturing him and overpowering him.
"You fool. I am the boss here," Leonardo said grimly.
"You’re not my boss. And once again, I'll remind you. Your mother hired me, which means she is my boss and not you. And I won’t let you starve to death. So, you must eat."
"I will not." Leonardo said stubbornly.
"Okay, I’ll just sing," And Angela sang out of tune.
Leonardo was irritated by her voice and yelled, "Don’t be loud!"
"I just sang. I didn’t make any noise." And she sang again. Her tone became a stomach-puking tone.
"That's enough! Stop that! Go out and cause some disturbance out there! " Leonardo yelled, covering his ears.
Angela, on the other hand, kept shrieking and singing louder and louder.
"OK, please stop; I'm going to eat now," Leonardo finally relented.
Angela then stopped singing and placed the food tray next to Leonardo on the bed. And he began to touch his food, picking up the tuna sandwich and nibbling.
Now Angela knew how to torture Leonardo Vera.
Two Years Ago3:00 a.m.December 10, 1980.Hope ParkThe park was deserted, but a woman in a red dress was crying into the phone, "Oh no, Esper! "Please don't do it! " The fear was reflected in her expression. She was upset and weeping.A distraught woman's voice on the other end of the line was crying and yelling, "I want to die!" There's no use in life without him! "The woman in red was attempting to console her younger sister. "It's not the end of the world yet," she trembled, her vision blurred by tears, "you can have another man who will truly love you, and please don't do this to me.""Please come home, Angela," she said, her voice trance-like."Yes, I'm on my way home; hold on, sweetie." I'll be there in a few days. I've got my ticket in my pocket; I'll be there soon. "However, the voice on the other end of the line shrieked, and it was a death cry.The woman in red was transfixed, dropped the phone inadvertently, and knew right then that her beloved younger sister would die.
One morning, Angela came in early to clean Leonardo's room. Leonardo was on the side of his bed when Angela entered. He suddenly turned at the door where Angela stood. His hearing was getting sharper. He sniffed the air. He wanted to recognize who came in."You're a stubborn woman!" Leonardo's voice echoed. But Angela was like a rock that sparkles in a rage when struck. And the more enraged Leonardo showed, the tougher she became. "No one has a soft head, unless you're abnormal.""Get out, please," Leonardo growled, his jaw gritting."I have to clean your room and bathe you later." Angela began quietly picking up some messes on the floor."What should I do to get you out?" He groaned."You don't have to do anything because I wouldn’t go out without you taking a bath and putting on new clothes," she declared casually, "You stink." She opened the cupboard for Leonardo's shirt and trousers. She stood in front of the open cupboard silently, staring at the thick, hung clothes."It's reall
"It's still your fault," Lara continued, "you're the one holding the phone, so all you have to do is give it to Leonardo. You know, I want to talk to him. It's still your fault. "Angela's pressure increased, and Lara appeared to be out of tune. "I can't do anything if my boss refuses to speak with you." You can come if you want to speak with him. "Bye," Angela said as she hung up the phone and made her way to Mr. Vera's room."Good day, Sir." Angela came to a halt when she noticed Mrs. Vera at the window. She appeared to be sobbing. She wanted to ask, but she held back and quietly placed Leonardo's food tray on the small table."You can eat right now, Sir." The food I brought is delicious. "I know those are your favorites," Angela said, looking at Leonardo's bed. Leonardo was just lying down."Who are you to tell me what my favorite is?" Leonardo mumbled. "You're extremely obstinate. Scram! ""Have mercy on yourself," his mother exclaimed, "don't be angry with the world, Leonardo.""
Leonardo's room was silent. He lay there, blindly staring at the ceiling. Angela walked in after the door opened. "I'm here, Sir," Angela said quietly. "Why did you come back?" he moaned. "Aare you provoking me?" "I have no intention of upsetting you, sir. I really looked after you. But I came back for a variety of reasons. First, to see if you actually ate, and to thank you for eating. Second, you've got visitors. " Leonardo muttered, "Get rid of whoever they are," he coughed, "you should have known what I wanted." "Perhaps you should drink some cough medicine," she snorted, "your girlfriend, Miss Lara Chavez, is looking for you again." "We broke up," he stated. "It's none of my business, and my third intention is to check your studio. Your paintings are... "Are you crazy?" exclaimed Leonardo. "Didn't I tell you I didn't want to hear those things anymore?" "Just don't yell at me because I'm just doing what they told me to do to tell you their plan," Angela objected. "You ha
Another day had gone by, five o'clock in the morning. Angela looked in the mirror at herself. Her entire plan had shifted. She sighed, stood up, and dressed in her white nurse uniform, pinning her hair back at her nape. She emerged from her room to begin her duties as Leonardo's nurse. The living room was deserted, and there was no sign of anyone nearby. But, before entering Leonardo's room, she decided to take a walk on the lawn to re-energize. She inhales fresh air into her lungs. It was very cold outside early in the morning. She noticed that someone was talking in the back of the house. She checked it out and saw Mrs. Gale with a male companion, to whom she gave instructions. "Stay here at the back, never enter the house without permission, and if you're thirsty or need something, call me." Mrs. Gale noticed Angela above the first step of the stairs. "Good morning, Angela. He's the new gardener, but he's not a stay-in here; his name is Mr. Villa.""Just call me Anton, Miss," the g
Angela was still nervous as she boarded the cab. She was already on Jaca Street, where Leonardo had been injured and her sister had died. Her emotions were conflicted. She was curious about what had happened, but she was also afraid of what she would find out. She was curious as to why two accidents occurred on the same night and in the same location. The cab pulled up in front of Mentara's Mall. Angela arrived at the location Leonardo was checking on at 2:00 p.m. The mall was deserted; there were few shoppers in the area due to the lack of public transportation. Angela stood beneath the lamppost. She scanned the area where the accident occurred. She had just read in the newspaper and heard on the news about what had happened in the area when her sister was in an accident and died instantly on that road. According to the news, her body was being dragged by the motor at high speed, and Esper died instantly. Worst of all, Angela was on the other side of the world when her sister die
"When I say get out, you have to get out!" Lara dragged Angela to the door. Angela turned to her and said, "Don't touch me!" and pushed her so hard that she almost fell down. "You're rude!" Lara slapped Angela in the face, but Angela quickly retaliated by slapping back. Lara cried out in pain and anger, pulling Angela's hair, "You're such an animal!" "Let him go, Lara!" exclaimed Leonardo. Lara abruptly released Angela and went to Leonardo's bed, where she asked for defense. "Your nurse is rude; she slapped me; you should hire a more respectful nurse, Leonardo." She cried. "What brings you here?" Leonardo inquired dryly. "Of course, you're in the hospital, so I'll pay you a visit; I'm worried about you. Why did you slash your wrist? " She snorted, "Perhaps your nurse doesn't care?" "Can you leave now, Lara?" Leonardo asked. "You're going to dispatch me right away despite the fact that I've only just arrived?" "I don't require a visitor at this time." Then someone else opene
"What did you say?" exclaimed Leonardo. "The woman you ran over on the street is no longer alive." Angela said flatly. "I didn't hit that girl; she was the one running past, so I hit her; it was an accident!" Angela sensed the seriousness in Leonardo's reactions; he hadn't expected Angela's news. She grumbled, adding, "Someone killed her. The man driving the black car killed her. " Leonardo couldn't believe the woman who had caused his blindness had died. "Are you telling the truth?" "Yeah, and whoever those people are... whatever their motivation for killing her was... they will pay the price; Carma is real, and they will suffer as the girl did." Leonardo stopped speaking. He reflected deeply. "I want my hot coffee," he said quietly. Angela went to the kitchen to prepare coffee for Leonardo. She was about to return to Leonardo's room when Leonardo's mother approached her. "Is that coffee for Leonardo?" Mrs. Vera asked. "Yes, Mrs. Vera." "How is he doing?" Angela shrugged,
