Ep 37: Cold towards her

* At Night *

The passageway had only a dim light lit on. Amyra having her bag in her hand hanging and

her jacket in her other hand put them on the sofa. Thirsty, she walked to the kitchen to get

some water.

The lights were turned on and she saw Xavier. He looked like he just came out of the

shower, in a bathrobe. Maybe she would be excited to see him but at the moment, she didn't

want to do anything with him. Drinking water she wandered past him as if she was not

influenced even a bit by his appearance or his presence. Unlike before things felt somewhat unprecedented.

"Did you have dinner?" He questioned in a relaxed tone.

Amyra grabbed her things from the sofa and answered with a single uninterested 'no'. With

that, she continued striding.

But she halted walking for a moment when he asserted, "Get freshen up and come down for

dinner then."

Amyra without giving an answer left from there. The mansion now didn't feel as lively as it

used to be. As if a cold wind surrounded i
