"No, no, fuck this, no!" I stood to my feet immediately. How on earth could I have missed it? Something felt odd texting the photos, how on earth did I go to Chad's thread instead of Tom's?
I picked my phone up to see what could have caused the misleading. I slapped my forehead when I realized how. Chad had texted me a message that conveyed a reminder to check my e-mail so I could edit the attachment he had sent.
This was the end. I knew I had to go check my closet to find my apron so I could get it dry cleaned for pizza city. I was about to toss my phone out of my hands when all of a sudden, something fascinating caught my eyes. The message had been delivered but it had not yet been seen by Chad. He must have put his phone away right after texting me and that meant there was still a chance to stop him from viewing a picture with such content, which could and would cost me my job.
It was twenty minutes after midnight but still I brought my phone out to dial Tom. About a billion messages that required confirmation on whether or not I had changed my mind and decision filled my notifications bar. This wasn't the time to regret stuff.
As expected he didn't answer the phone. A panicked me dropped the phone and decided that, pacing around the room would offer me a solution.
Deciding I had no way to get myself out of this with assistance from a third party, I concluded that I would be going to Chad Bush's house and accessing his phone, to get rid of the photo before he woke up.

I hopped on my old bike, who knew it would ever come in handy in its existence? I had on my pyjamas and I couldn't care less. After securing that my house was locked and that my key was safe in my pyjamas pocket, I got ready to leave. If anyone had expected anything, it was that I had no car. I barely made enough to keep up with paying my bills and getting a car was definitely not on the list of fun things to do.
Chad's house was quite a distance from mine and if I could pedal fast enough, I would get there in an hour. That meant that by two in the morning, I would be at my boss's house, with barely any hope that he had not seen my stupidity endorsed act.
To tell the world of my devastation would be an under rate of how I truly felt.
I knew there was only one way out of this. After all what would be would be but then, I would rather lose my job trying to save it than sit back and give up on hope.

When I said house, I was wrong. Chad bush was clearly royalty beyond expectations. He lived in some fucking mansion. I gaped at the large source of shelter standing tall in its foundation and staring back at me.
I gulped and got down from my bike, feeling exhausted and out of breathe. I had never been at Chad's. I only knew where he lived because I had a direction map on my phone installed for just emergencies and if this wasn't emergency enough, I honestly could not tell what was.
It was at that point that I knew I was in hot soup, barely figuratively. I had not thought things through. If there was any fire hot enough to burn my job, this was it. For one, Chad was an influential man and he more than any soul I had met priced security over many items.
With the look of things, like bees in their hives, top security would flood the entire place. Although, from my view, the mansion was dimly lit with night lights and it seemed empty. That gave me another sense of logic. Chad cherished his privacy. And if he applied that sense to his personal life, then he definitely had no security.
That was just my fucking way to make myself feel consoled. I wondered how I was going to manage to get through things without being noticed. I wasn't completely unprepared for any sort of stoppage. I had my business identification card with me and there was nothing a little white lie would not fix.
Without wasting any more time to think, I pulled my bike to a corner and rested it against a wall.
I started at the huge gate. I was not a tall not short person and I had no idea what heights were but that was definitely one long gate. I placed my hand akimbo and wondered how I was going to get over and into the building with a giant obstacle.
"Eureka!" I whisper yelled to myself. The gate was fancy enough but it was made of horizontal metals that connected each vertical row to the other. I placed my feet on the first steps and my hands on the steps I could attain in my fully stretched size and began the climbing phase.
I didn't know how long it took but I got to the top eventually. I turned around and placed my feet on the steps but this time, in the building. My heart was equally trembling along with my limbs. "Don't look down Nikki, don't look down." I pleased with myself but knowing the stubborn bitch that I was, it was almost as if my subconscious had responded, 'yeah I'm definitely going to look down.'
With that, my eyes followed the gate to the floor and I let a loud shriek out. On their accord, my limbs left the gate and I was soon crashing to the ground. It was a fall I doubted I would survive but I hit the ground with my butt. I didn't know the human body but I was sure that whatever bones were in that region had been flattened further, worsening my flat ass situation.
I stood to my feet, ignoring the pains in my glutes, letting my mission override any hurt.
Barking dogs from a distance began to sing their praises to the sound of the stranger, me. Following their barking alert was the flashlights that filled the environment. I was wrong with the 'no security' aspect.
Quickly, I dashed out of what I assumed was sight and hid behind the trees that lined what seemed to be a road that led to the main house. I gulped and rendered a silent prayer requesting favour.
I raced behind the trees that created a linear pattern that served decorative purposes, and headed for the side of the house.
A few men walked towards the gate in scrutiny but I managed to escape their gazes, thank God.
*
After thirty minutes of tip toeing around the house. I got inside the main house. I had only attempted what seemed to be luck but the door was unlocked. The only reasonable explanation was that Chad kept it open in case the security had to get him out in emergency situations but other than that, no one else was welcome in and that self proposed theory proved me right about his security and privacy appreciation.
In my opinion, that was a crazy idea because I had literally just gotten in here without being armed.
I shook my head and ran up the stairs as silently as I could attain. There were two floors after the first floor and from the staircase, I could see that the last floor had numerous doors. What caught me about how large the second floor was, was the fact that it possessed only one door.
I hurried and made my way for there. I turned the door knob and not surprisingly, it bugged and came open without a creak. The perks of expensive doors.
I gasped when I saw the size of the room. It was almost three times the size of my apartment, possibly more than. Fear gripped me at the consequences I had to bare from being caught in the act.
I hastily looked around and as dark as the room seemed, light sources being from two tiny red lights that rotated around their axis making the room seem magical, I spotted Chad lying in bed shirtless but with a huge blanket hugging his waist and lower limbs.
An unidentifiable woman was lying next to him and she was sprawled naked. Eww.
My thoughts were distracted when I noticed the phone sitting by the bedside drawer. I smiled and crept up to it. Without pause, I grabbed it and made the longest run for my life. Fate was honestly working with me on this because as soon as I got out of the house and made my way back to the gate, it was left open by the memories who must decided to deepen their scrutinization.
I jumped on my bike and pedaling away, I laughed 'sinisterly' and yelled as loud as I could, "so long suckers!" Of course, that was after I had rode twenty minutes away.

I unlocked my apartment and walked straight into my room feeling worn out. I barely had a few hours until it was time to leave for work. I hopped on my bed and side, pulling out Chad's phone. The first glance at it made me furrow my eyebrows, it was not the black one he always had. As funny as it was, he only used one phone, at least, that I was familiar with.
I gulped knowing there was trouble in paradise. I unlocked it and alas, the image in front of me was a woman I knew fairly well.
I had taken Rebecca Black's phone.
Feeling dead, I sat on my bed. I was in double trouble. First, I had in my hands the phone of one of the most influential women in town. It was just one phone but dramatic acts were not extinct and I was not going to be astonished if three billion helicopters hovered around my roof, just because they tracked me down.I buried my face in my hands and scratched my head furiously like it was the root of my problems.I could see it. Walking into the shop with my signature mop, my hair in a messy bun, my shirt not ironed because no.I sat like that thinking, unable to sleep. Well, that inability lasted five minutes because I closed my eyes and let the cool wind take me deep.*My alarm
I gulped, unable to believe my eyes. Chad had caught me. He stared at me in utter confusion and blinked on repeat as if trying to show himself that he wasn't seeing wrong."What on earth are you doing here?" Just then, he put me down and all of a sudden, I felt super short standing beside him there."I...I..." I stuttered, not knowing the right words to say. He furrowed his eyebrows suspiciously at me."You did not inform me beforehand about your presence, neither did we discuss your coming here so please explain yourself." He folded his strong arms across his chest.I took in his muscular appearance, the one he always hid behind his corporate suit, that my eyes were blessed by. He was wearing a black tank top and a pair of white shorts. He looked so 'not Chad'."Sir, I can explain." I gulped, my heart racing beyond the ordinary as it sat in its cage, waiting to be freed from the bondage o
I gasped and let go of Cole's penis. Rebecca's eyes followed the motion and her mouth dropped open. My hands flew up to my mouth with their own mind at work."What is going on in here?" She crossed her arms across her chest and did her stylish cat walk towards us."This is not what it seems like, I promise." I gasped, hoping to protect Chad from getting in trouble with Rebecca because of me. That was the last thing on my mind. It was not even a part of anything on mind."It was an unconscious action, I-" I trailed off and turned to look at Chad to see if he had anything to say to defend himself, and I. He looked blank, not phased even. He wasn't making any moves to correct things. He only stood there, looking as emotionless as he always did.Rebecca s
His guest sat there staring at me. I had never seen the blonde, bearded man before and why they were discussing ridding me of my job baffled me.My eyes moved to Chad's. A deep frown was etched on his face and I widened my eyes. I knew better than anybody to interrupt a meeting he was having.I tried to formulate an excuse in my head but my mouth would not cooperate with my mind and instead I went down on my knees, "No. Please don't do this to me. I have begged to keep my job so many times but this time, I won't consider the consequences."Chad's visitor turned to look at Chad in confusion and Chad only buried his face in his palm and shook his head pitifully. "Not only did you barge in and interrupt my discussion, you were also eavesdropping?" He stated, maintaining the position.
"What am I doing here?" He seemed surprised that I would ask. How could I not? Tom was standing in my office during working hours and he just expected me to go all quiet about it."Oh my God, you weren't paying attention to my phone call, were you?" He widened his eyes and closed my door behind him."Nikki this is what I always have to say about you. You never listen to anything I have to tell you and it hurts really bad." He frowned and stopped right in front of me.I stood to my feet and tried to get him to bring his voice down. "Tom this is my office, you'll get us in trouble if you aren't careful." I whisper yelled at him."Nikki this is saddening, I spent minutes explaining how Fester got me a job in your company, I can't believe you
"Shit!" I gasped, taking a deep breathe of shock as Chad stood there indifferently, not taking a step. His eyes moved between Tom and I every second, it seemed he was waiting for an explanation.Tom's penis seemed to have gone in deep shock as well as a smaller version of his previously erected cock now stood, dangling between his thighs.I pulled my skirt down in hurry and scanned the office for my shirt, my hands trembling by my side.Tom pulled his boxers up like lightening after thunder and struggled to keep his pants on his waist as they kept falling without his belt to hold them in place. All the while, I'd hoped Chad would turn to look away or leave the room in anger. I had no idea what it was, the shock from my action or curiosity, but h
Chad gasped and took steps away from me. "What?" He stood, perplexed."Tom is my boyfriend." I repeated the words even though I was aware he had heard me the first time. I stared at my feet, my cheeks red from the embarrassment that followed the situation. When he said nothing in response, I looked up to meet his gaze. He appeared to be a lot more embarrassed than myself."I tried to explain it to you but-" I decided to clarify further, Chad turned around instead to leave my office. I could only assume what he felt like after the whole situation."Sir please." I swallowed, moving towards him.He stopped me in my tracks with a bellow, "stay away. It's a warning."I stopped walking and gulped instead. He was not taking things well. I watched him disappear from sight and I knew I was in for a terrible day.*The day felt so long, Chad had not
NikkiI was too exhausted to go to work but I owed it to living my life that way everyday. I stood up from bed and walked to the mirror to check my forehead out. Luckily, the size of the wound had calmed a bit and I admittedly felt a lot better.I wondered how Chad would react to my presence at work or if he would even talk to me. I knew if he kept up with things in that manner, it would only be a matter of time before he sent me packing."Hey! So unfair!" I yelled at the television where a young secretary got to kiss her boss in a movie. "Life is a bitch." I rolled my eyes, putting more butter on my bread. In no time, I was out and ready to live the life I had been forced to live.*My office was empty, as expected. It was not the kind of empty I had imagined to see; where my books were scattered on the floor and everything I owned had been taken away from me. Instead, ev
I stood to my feet, unable to process the worry that came with feeling this way."Are you drunk?" I asked after a while of thinking deeply about it."No." He said in a low voice.
“I just can't believe he would do that.” I sniffed and sat on one of the couches. I wanted to get things over with. If he had not been hesistant with accusing me like that, he was not worth my time at all.“What can I do?" Cornelius was trying his best to make me feel better and although I did appreciate it, it was not being helpful.
NikkiI stood from where I sat with furrowed eyebrows and my gazed fixed on Chad. "What is she doing here?" I was thrown back. My feet were unable to consume my balance and I felt trapped. I wanted to be out of there the quickest that I could. My eyes went back to Rebecca when she broke the silence for a confused Chad that could not stop scratching the back of his neck. He was clearly not expecting her to show up here and was not taking her entrance lightly.
“Rebecca what are you doing?” I retreated from her, my eye wide open in shock I had no proper reaction because it was utterly unexpected and my brain was still trying to understand what had happened and of course she had to take it the wrong way.“I see you are speechless, that means you are all in, huh?” she came even closer than before and pulled me loser to her face with a firm grip on my neck and that was all I really needed to snap back to my senses. “What on earth are you doing?” I raised my voice, harshly slapping her hands off of me, I did not care less if I was supposed to respect her but she was being disrespectful and nothing pissed me off more.
Nikki was curious to know what the outcome of my conversation had been but I was more keen on dismissing her. I wanted to spend time with her and even force her to stay overnight but if I had to deal with my Rebecca situation before it was too late, I knew that now was the right time."She is predictable, she said she wanted to say hello because she was passing by." I rubbed the back of my neck, knowing how obvious that was if a lie.She crossed one leg over the other and raised one suspicious eyebrow at me. "Chad...""Nikki, just ignore her please." I sat in front of her and poured her a glass of cold water. "You look like you can really use some of that."She didn't say anything in response, successfully making me further uncomfortable."I'm sorry." I heaved a sighed, "trust me." felt a omo grow in my throat from saying the words especially knowing I was not worthy of her trust
ChadI panicked internally as Nikki directed the security man to let Rebecca in. I was getting mad beyond my capacity as how inconsiderate Rebecca was being especially since we had just had met in my office only a few hours ago. I thought if she pissed me too far, I would give ahead to press charges on privacy invasion without hesitation."I'm not going to allow her into this house." I focused on my reality one more time and cut in with Nikki and the patient man still standing there, waiting for my decision. "Whatever it is she wants, I'll go speak to her myself." I said, turning around to meet Nikki's gaze and on seeing the frown that she had, I immediately went to her side and gave her a small kiss on her forehead."I'm sorry." I said when I pulled away, "don't worry about anything, I know how to feel with this." I assured her and looked up at the man, "come on."I left her slipping into
I frowned at the phone and wanted to answer it immediately. A part of medid not agree in that instant. I knew it was wrong, regardless of the caller being his ex-girlfriend that still gave me no right to intrude.
“What are you talking about?” I asked her, standing to my feet in shock. I placed both my hands by the edge of the desk to support the out of nowhere dizziness that suddenly seemed to spiral around me endlessly.“You heard me Chad.” She stood to her feet as well and folded her hands across her chest. She looked up at the ceiling and sighed before looking back at me. “I took one at home first and then I did a blood test.” She opened the purse in her hand and revealed what looked like a hospital test results. This was all the proof I needed to know that she was not playing. My hands
“What do you think you are doing?” I directed at Cornelius, my heart beating fast in shock, it seemed to be like it was all happening too soon and I did not have the time to be able to process what was going on.“Are you crazy? What the fuck, that is harassing me on a completely different level.” I stood to my feet and shove him aside with a rough push on the chest. He looked like he was surprised by my act and I really felt the need to slap that lo
